Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is the successor to the cult-classic Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines and features reactive storytelling, fast-paced combat, and compelling characters with their own hidden motives. Created in an act of vampiric insurrection, players start the game as a fledgling Thinblood whose existence ignites a war among the vampire factions in Seattle. To survive in vampire society, players will enter into uneasy alliances with Seattle’s factions and join one of the full-blood vampire clans while stalking the city streets for prey, maneuvering complex political relationships, and balancing the need for blood against their withering humanity.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 features:

  • Feed Your Power, Own the Night – Immerse yourself in the World of Darkness and live out your vampire fantasy in a city filled with intriguing characters that react to your choices. Your unique disciplines, vampiric powers granted by the clan you join, make you a supernatural weapon in a forward-driving, fast-moving, melee-focused combat system. Your power will grow as you advance, but remember to uphold the Masquerade and guard your humanity … or face the consequences.
  • Descend into Seattle’s Dark Heart and Survive the Vampire Elite – Seattle has always been run, albeit secretly, by vampires. Hunt your prey across Seattle locations faithfully reimagined in the World of Darkness, from the piers of the waterfront to the bars and clubs of Pioneer Square. Meet the old blood founders present since the city’s birth and the new blood steering the tech money redefining the city. Everyone has hidden agendas – so choose your allies wisely.
  • Enter into Uneasy Alliances – Choose a side among competing factions, each with their own unique traits and stories, in the war for Seattle’s blood trade. The world will judge you by the company you keep, but remember no one’s hands stay clean forever.
  • Experience a Reactive, Branching Narrative – Written by Brian Mitsoda, the creative mind behind the original Bloodlines, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 reacts to your every choice in a narrative where different paths, and outcomes, abound.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will launch on PC and consoles in 2020 and is now available for pre-order. To learn more about Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, please visit www.bloodlines2.com.

Marvel’s Avengers Releasing on May 15, 2020

Square Enix announced at their E3 press conference that they are aiming to have Marvel’s Avengers released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on May 15, 2020 with the PlayStation 4 version of the game netting various bonuses in the future that will be detailed later on.

Marvel’s Avengers begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco, including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source. The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

Square Enix is planning on delivering a unique storyline that will have a narrative that will be delivered over multiple years, with no random loot boxes or pay-to-win scenarios. Every new Super Hero and region will be delivered to players at no additional cost if you own the core game.

Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions Announced for Western Release

In what came as a fairly surprising announcement, Square Enix announced at their E3 presentation that they would be bringing Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions to the West with both games being remastered before being released sometime in the future. Romancing SaGa 3 will be releasing on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita, PC, iOS, and Android while SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions will be releasing on a few less consoles as it comes to the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android.

Romancing SaGa 3 originally released in Japan in 1995. This brand-new HD remaster introduces optimized graphics, new dungeons to explore, new scenarios to experience and a new game+ function.

SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions builds upon the original Japanese release with a variety of improvements and additions to the original, including new and improved graphics, character voice-overs, weapons, skills and more. In addition, players will have access to more than 70 allies to potentially add to their party and test out different battle strategies with the new turn-based timeline system as they conquer new scenarios, monsters and bosses on their journey.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered Announced for Consoles and PC

There have been remasters as well as a remake for many of the Final Fantasy games so far and the one that many people have been asking for is Final Fantasy VIII. Well during Square Enix‘s E3 presentation the developer did exactly that by announcing Final Fantasy VIII Remastered for the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC with a release window of sometime later this year.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered will feature revamped character models, the ability to keep HP and ATB at maximum, the ability to turn on and off battle encounters, and the ability to play the game at three times the normal speed outside of cutscenes. You can check out the announcement trailer below.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Reveals Tifa, Details Combat

Square Enix kicked off their E3 press conference the way everyone wanted, with a lengthy trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake and some new gameplay footage. This time around we are shown the hybrid gameplay system that merges real-time action with strategic command-based combat. For starters, each press of the Square button is a swing of Cloud’s Buster Sword. Cloud attacks, dodges, and blocks all in real-time. His standard attacks do some damage, but they barely scratch the surface of Cloud’s true potential.

Succeeding on the battlefield requires more than just hacking and slashing. Cloud needs to be tactical. He needs ATB. Two ATB bars are displayed in the lower right. These fill up slowly over time, but fill much faster as Cloud lands standard attacks. Once an ATB bar is full, you can enter Tactical Mode, where time slows to a crawl and you have the opportunity to choose actions from the command menu. Once in Tactical Mode, you can choose to perform various abilities, such as Cloud’s Braver attack. Using an item in battle will deplete an ATB charge, and if Cloud has the right Materia equipped and enough MP, he can use ATB charges to cast spells.

In combat players will be able to easily swap between the characters in their party at the tap of the button and the game will also see the return of a focus gauge for enemies allowing them to be staggered and recieve bonus damage from your attacks. The new footage can be found below and Final Fantasy VII Remake is set to be released on March 3, 2020 for the PlayStation 4.

Code Vein Releasing on September 27

Today with a new E3 trailer Bandai Namco has announced that Code Vein will be releasing on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 27th. In the game players will be able to team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in Code Vein. Death may feel permanent but your loadout doesn’t have to. Change your character class at any time, unlock the ability to mix and match skills, or choose different NPCs to partner with, all of which could make the difference between life and death.

Create your own character and choose your partner as you venture out into a world of destruction, overrun by the Lost. Change the feel of the game depending on which partner you choose, each with their own combat style and background story.
