Fans return to the dark Three Kingdoms action RPG series to face new challenges

Hertfordshire, 7^th June 2026 – Today, during the XBOX Games Showcase 2026, KOEI TECMO Europe and developer Team NINJA announced the latest instalment in their dark Three Kingdoms action RPG series, Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember. In an epic announcement trailer, players had a first glimpse of the new challenges that await them in this sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember is currently in development and is scheduled to release early 2027 on XBOX Series X|S, PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™2, XBOX PC, and Steam®. The title will also be available from day one with XBOX Game Pass.

Set in the late Eastern Han period, when various warlords contended for supremacy and the heroes of the Three Kingdoms emerged, a phoenix rose from the fires of war as a nameless champion, fighting across vast battlefields infested with powerful enemies and fearsome fiends. In this sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which has surpassed over 5 million players worldwide, players must master the evolved Chinese martial arts and conquer the Three Kingdoms battlefield overrun by monstrous demons alongside renowned heroes who have left their mark on history.

Serious Sam: Shatterverse just made a big noise at the PC Gaming Show with a brand new trailer showing off a rapid-fire blast of new gameplay from this fresh take on the classic FPS series.

Based on the adventures of boomer shooter legend Sam ‘Serious’ Stone – whose over-the-top run-and-gun classic, Serious Sam: The First Encounter, celebrates its 25th birthday this year – Shatterverse brings a fresh roguelite twist to the series.

Developed by Behaviour Interactive (Dead By Daylight) and published by Devolver Digital, this is a co-op FPS where five players can team up, blast through shifting universes, stack wild boons, bend the rules with run modifiers, and hunt the deadliest forces of Sam’s relentless arch-nemesis, the villainous Mental.

Mental’s maniacal machinations have fractured the walls between universes, and now Sams from multiple dimensions must learn to work together to repair the Shatterverse. You’ll travel across shifting universes to finish battles other Sams couldn’t, fighting alongside alternate versions of yourself to defeat the big bad’s five nefarious lieutenants.

As revealed in today’s XBOX Showcase, id Software is releasing DOOM: The Dark Ages | Revelations, an epic campaign DLC unleashing a new chapter of the DOOM Slayer’s saga, on July 8 (AEST). In Revelations, we find the Slayer wounded and betrayed, thrust into a merciless purgatory only escapable by confronting haunting truths and forging new strength with the help of a mysterious ally. 

Revelations introduces a whole new dimension of combat: The all-new deadly Chain Spear offers returning Slayers a uniquely satisfying combat system – one that rewards mastery with enhanced power and mobility. Featuring new levels with deeper puzzles, new demons, and new mysteries, the DLC delivers a breadth of new content for players to experience.

Along with Revelations comes the Ripatorium 3.0 update, free for all existing players. Coming to Steam, the debut title from solo developer nospacelost offers a slice of life adventure for players to lose themselves in as they navigate the busy streets of Japan with their trusty soccer ball in tow. 

Switzerland, June 7, 2026 – Solo Developer nospace lost and indie publisher Shoreline Games have today announced, as part of IGN Live, that the side-scrolling, slice of life anime-inspired game Kick will launch on Steam on July 30, 2026.

To give players a taste of the charming adventure that awaits them next month, a playable demo for Kick will be available for the very first time as part of Steam Next Fest, running from 15-22 June. Offering a slice of the heartfelt, addictive gameplay on offer at launch, the demo grants access to Kick’s tutorial, allowing players to learn the ropes and get to grips with their newfound soccer skills, along with the first level, which sees them racing through a neighborhood bustling with pedestrians to dodge and trick moves to master. 

The world is your playground: 

Stepping into the shoes of The Kid, players will race their way through scenic Japanese-inspired landscapes, each with their own obstacles to avoid and soccer ball challenges to master. From bustling streets and scenic beaches to shaded underpasses and sprawling parks, Kick’s story will see players practicing their skills in the park, running to catch the train, and taking well trodden shortcuts to shave much needed seconds off their travel time, all in hopes of beating the dreaded school bell.
