Quote from the developer Joe Fender and development history:

“After launching DEVOUR, I began working on Sunset Summit in 2021 as I wanted to branch out from the horror genre. But by 2023 I was burned out and unsure if a first-person co-op climbing game would appeal to anyone. And guess what? Then PEAK launched and after its success I felt reassured that it was worth finishing Sunset Summit. I’m proud to share this mix of my favourite things: co-op games, climbing, and megastructures and I hope people will enjoy it!”

About the dev team

Sunset Summit is developed by brothers, Andrew and Joe Fender, who previously teamed up on the horror indie mega hit DEVOUR.

Berzerk Studio Announces Maximum Thunderness, Drops Debut Demo for Alien-blasting, Shoot-em-up Co-op Ready Action Game Launching Fall 2026 on PC

The creators of Hot Fire-tier indie hits Just Shapes & Beats, Infernax return to save the world from the baddest skateboarding aliens of space via Saturday morning cartoon-style thrills

Quebec City, National Capital of the Province of Quebec, Oldest Province of the Free Lands of Canada (June 7, 2026) – Berzerk Studio just melted faces by revealing Maximum Thunderness, a shoot-em-up for 1-3 players with roguelite elements that’s brimming with full-throttle energy and bullet-dodging fun. Even better, Maximum Thunderness’ first-ever demo is available now on Steam for a limited time – surprise! Download the demo now to start kicking hordes of intergalactic alien punks off of Earth’s streets in autoscrolling firefights, ahead of the game’s full launch later this year on PC. (https://store.steampowered.com/app/4641850)

Maximum Thunderness’ reveal trailer brings bone-rattling energy with a killer theme song guaranteed to be stuck in your head for weeks. Pour a bowl of your sugariest cereal, crank your volume and prepare to watch nefarious, bandana-sporting hooligans get wrecked in the game’s first footage:

Maximum Thunderness sees Earth overrun by the Syndicate for Komplete Universal Lawless Leadership, or S.K.U.L.L., and their snarling advancement of crime culture. These lime green menaces must be stopped before achieving their ultimate goal: infiltrating the street market for hand-rolled cigarettes and pirating Earth’s best movies through residential WiFi connections. Luckily, a special unit known as Maximum Thunderness has stepped forward to protect both civilization and justice.

Choose from one of three uniquely powerful heroes and hit the streets, picking your route through branching paths of alien-swarmed stages and stopping by shops when you need a breather (or a new way to kick ass). With action inspired by the golden standards of classic shmups, Maximum Thunderness will have you weaving between streams of bullets while annihilating waves of outer space crime-doers – but don’t feel bad, they haven’t called their moms in weeks.

Maximum Thunderness utilizes roguelite elements to ensure no two runs play out the same way. Score items as you survive each stage of S.K.U.L.L.-stomping fun, snagging upgrades to your skillset or even the option to change it entirely. Combat is designed to be approachable by anyone regardless of shmup experience, while still offering the depth and challenge Earth’s sweatiest defenders crave.

FEED THE BEAST IN CRITICAL REFLEX’S SATED – A GROTESQUE NEW COOKING ROGUELIKE REVEALED AT THE PC GAMING SHOW

Gamble for disgusting ingredients, feed monstrous clients and try your best to not become the next meal!

HELL’S KITCHEN June 7, 2026 –They hunger for food…they must be SATED! Announced at the PC Gaming Show, SATED is a gnarly new cooking and gambling-fueled roguelike from CRITICAL REFLEX and developer Forest Reges. Spin for haphazard ingredients like organs and industrial waste from a sentient refrigerator on a moving tram kitchen through hell in an attempt to feed each uniquely terrifying monster a meal that suits their taste. Watch today’s debut trailer for a first look at a bloody, grimy, shit-covered world of existential fear and exquisite culinary decadence.

SATED is a grimy, hypnotic roguelike where you descend into a dripping megastructure to cook increasingly grotesque delicacies for ever-hungrier monsters. Your only tool is a sentient, cursed fridge that works like a deranged slot machine. Spin for twitching ingredients, bet everything and pray the customer leaves satisfied…or become the meal yourself.

Key Features

  • FEED THE ABOMINATION OR GET COOKED: You’re trapped in a moving tram kitchen deep inside a rotting megastructure. Every stop brings a new monster with disgusting, impossible tastes.
  • THE CURSED FRIDGE IS YOUR ONLY GOD: A sentient, gambling-obsessed refrigerator that works as a mad slot machine is your only kitchen aid. Spin for twitching ingredients, pray for good RNG, and occasionally get owned by an “Inspection.”
  • COOKING SO DISGUSTING IT’S BEAUTIFUL: Throw together organs, industrial waste, living insects, batteries, human eyes, and other garbage. The order you drop them in the pot matters. One wrong move and your dish can become cursed, moldy…or sentient.
  • DEEP ROGUELIKE BUILDS: Stack deranged modifiers on your fridge that completely warp how you play. Turn every ingredient into gold, double your satiety, or just embrace chaos. Become the ultimate degenerate chef.
  • MONSTERS THAT REMEMBER YOUR FAILURES: From angelic horrors begging for battery soup to submarine sharks craving marine delicacies, each creature has unique tastes and cruel debuffs. The deeper you go, the more personal they get.
  • BRANCHING TRAM ROUTES THROUGH HELL: Choose your path on a living map. Hit shops, modifier combiners, mysterious stations and more between monster stops. Every route feels different. Every route can ruin you in a new way.

SATED is available to wishlist on Steam now, and players can register for the first upcoming public playtest today. For more information, follow CR Channel on Twitter, and join the CR Channel Discord community for the latest news, engaging discussions and more.

TERRINOTH: HEROES OF DESCENT IS AVAILABLE NOW

The first video game set in the Descent universe is coming to PC and consoles The heroic fantasy tactical RPG from Artefacts Studio and New Tales is now available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S

PARIS, June 7, 2026 – After several months of demos, player feedback, and growing anticipation surrounding the project, Artefacts Studio and New Tales today announce the official launch of Terrinoth®: Heroes of Descent, the first video game adaptation of Fantasy Flight Games’ legendary Descent universe.

To mark this launch, a new trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Terrinoth, the playable heroes, tactical combat, and dungeons awaiting players starting today.

Since its demo was released last February, the game has generated a lot of excitement among players. On Steam, the demo has garnered over 87% positive reviews, highlighting the quality of the indie tactical RPG developed by the teams at Artefacts Studio. Longtime Descent fans have praised the game’s faithful recreation of the board game’s spirit, while new players have been drawn to its accessible gameplay and cooperative ambition.

Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent plunges players into the troubled lands of Terrinoth, one year before the events of Descent: Legends of the Dark.

Whereas the demo only allowed players to explore the Crypts of Aerendor in single-player mode, Terrinoth®: Heroes of Descent now offers access to the full adventure with a complete narrative campaign spanning 4 chapters, designed for both one-hour sessions and long evenings of cooperative play.

As they progress, players will be able to explore 20 dungeons with varied environments, punctuated by dynamic dialogues that evolve based on the group’s composition and the heroes chosen. The adventure also features full English voice acting, brought to life by, among others, Samantha Béart, who joins the cast designed to bring the heroes and iconic figures of Terrinoth to life.

The game offers 8 playable heroes, inspired by heroic fantasy archetypes, each with their own story, unique skills, and a distinct combat style.

Combat plays a central role in the experience, with a tactical system designed to be easy to pick up while leaving plenty of room for strategy and coordination among players. Each hero can combine their abilities with those of their allies to trigger synergies, encouraging players to coordinate their actions throughout battles.

Throughout the adventure, groups will also face imposing bosses and iconic creatures of Terrinoth in demanding tactical battles, where positioning, use of the terrain, and management of special abilities will often make the difference between victory and defeat.

Playable online with up to 4 players and the option to join a game in progress, the experience was designed to recapture the strategic intensity of epic tabletop sessions through turn-based battles.

For Artefacts Studio, the Lyon-based studio behind The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, Terrinoth®: Heroes of Descent represents the culmination of an ambitious creative challenge: adapting the Descent universe into a tactical RPG for the first time, without losing the identity that made the board game a success.

“As longtime fans ourselves, it was a huge challenge to adapt the license in a way that stayed true to the essence of Terrinoth while still offering our own interpretation of it,” explains Bruno Chabanel, CEO of Artefacts Studio. “We wanted to capture the unique atmosphere and accessibility of Descent’s universe, and naturally translate them into a true video game experience without ever losing the soul of the original board game.”

New Tales supported the project to bring this adaptation to its global launch. “The feedback we received on the demo confirmed the game’s potential and players’ attachment to the Descent universe,” says Cédric Maréchal, CEO of New Tales. “Today, we are very happy to finally be able to deliver the full experience and allow players to discover this new way of exploring Terrinoth, either alone or with friends.”

For Asmodee and Fantasy Flight GamesTerrinoth®: Heroes of Descent also marks an important milestone: despite the popularity of the Terrinoth universe, it had never before been adapted into a tactical RPG.

“Seeing the Descent universe come to life in a full-fledged video game experience has been a long-standing request from fans,” notes Bill Altig, VP of Narrative Games at Asmodee. “Artefacts Studio has managed to stay true to the original spirit while delivering a stunning cinematic presentation.”

Terrinoth®: Heroes of Descent is available today on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S for $34.99/€34.99.
