(Beijing) October 8, 2026: Agents, The Abyss is calling! Veewo Games‘ neon-drenched cybermyth roguelike, Neon Abyss 2, is available now across PlayStation 5, Steam, Nintendo Switch™ and XBOX Series X|S (available day one with XBOX Game Pass), fresh with a new final boss and game mode.
Equal parts cyberpunk and mythology, Neon Abyss 2 is Veewo Games’ love letter to roguelike action-platformers. Struck down in New Athens, players quickly learn the only thing that comes easily is death as they venture into the pixelated, cyberpunk, mythology-inspired world known as The Abyss.
Inhabited by the malicious ruling gods – both ancient and new – players will either rise to the challenge or perish under it. But either way, The Abyss always calls for another run…
The game’s roguelike loop sees up to four players descend through eight procedurally generated levels as they stack item synergies, hatchmon combinations and new weapon affixes to wreak havoc with.
The Abyss is always shifting, and as of today, this loop is complete with a new final boss, Theia: Goddess of Vanity, and an all-new game mode, Storm Breach, that are available for players to sink their bullets into.
Theia, a distorted blend of broken mirrors, sharp gemstones and radiant neon auras, challenges players to keep their eyes on the prize as they deal with her dazzling attacks, and Storm Breach introduces one-way doors and no turning back as players sprint through fight after fight.

These new features are the latest weapons in an arsenal developed throughout the Early Access period with the help of Agents in the community.
Through these changes, Agents can now personalise weapons with affixes, conquer new bosses such as Athena and Aphrodite, and remove any weapon, faith, boss or item they don’t like to customise their run fully.
