Home Sweet Home Episode II Coming to PC this Year

Back in 2017 a rather unique horror game was released on PC by YGGdrazil Group and then last year it was released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One by Mastiff Games. This horror game was Home Sweet Home and thanks to its thai based horror, it offered a unique style of scare but left things a bit open ended and now we have a good reason for that. The YGGdrazil Group has announced that Home Sweet Home Episode II will be releasing on PC sometime in 2019 and while no console release has been announced at this time, perhaps the story will continue there as well.

Home Sweet Home Episode II follows Tim, a simple man in search of his missing wife. At the conclusion of the first game, Tim found himself with few answers other than that her disappearance held a far more sinister and evil purpose and had affected others, who similarly went missing without a trace. Awakening in a dark and mysterious forest, Tim begins his search anew, unaware of the dangers that lie before him.

Deeply inspired by both Thai culture and folklore, Home Sweet Home Episode II oozes horror around every corner and within every shadow. Pursued relentlessly by a deadly and otherworldly Thai Dancer, Tim must race against the clock and through deadly enemies in his quest for information. Mind bending puzzles hide clues to his progression as well as a series first—combat. Armed with an arsenal of weapons, Tim can approach every enemy encounter using stealth, brute force, or a combination of both. Yet unlike in the first Home Sweet Home, multiple enemies will pursue Tim at the same time, turning every encounter into a battle between life and death.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood Launch Trailer Focuses on Story

With Wolfenstein: Youngblood releasing tomorrow July 26th on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC Bethesda and MachineGames have opted to release a launch trailer for the game that gives us a look at both in-game cutscenes as well as plenty of Nazi killing action.

For those who haven’t been following the game, Wolfenstein: Youngblood places players in the boots of one of BJ Blazkowicz’s twin daughters after he ends up missing. Set nineteen years after the events of the previous game BJ has disappeared after a mission into Nazi-occupied Paris. Now, after years of training and guidance from their battle-hardened father, BJ’s twin daughters Jess and Soph are forced into action.

Cat Lady Gameplay Detailed in Trailer

Back in June it was announced that a new game was being developed from Rose City Games by the name of Cat Lady and now we know a bit more about the Viz Media published title. The game will be releasing on PC sometime in the future and follows Ally Marie as she arrives for her regular visit to Grandma’s cat-filled mansion but is startled to find an ancient evil has awoken. Not only is Grandma missing: all of her belongings are transforming into monsters, and the cats are now self-aware.

With the help of her cats, Ally must find a way to save Grandma and destroy the ghosts lurking in the mansion. The game will blend dual-stick shooter action, roguelike elements, and tons of collectibility. Swap and upgrade your feline friends to blast homey hauntings with magical spells, investigate randomly generated biomes to progress through multiple unique areas of the mansion, and uncover the spooky intentions behind your Grandma’s kidnapping and the parade of perilous poltergeists who stand in your way.

Catherine: Full Body Demo Released on PlayStation 4 in the West

Those who’ve never had a chance to play the original Catherine or want to give Catherine: Full Body a shot before it is officially released now have the chance to do so as Atlus USA has released a demo for the game on the PlayStation Store allowing all PlayStation 4 owners a chance to obtain it.

To go along with this demo release the company has released a new trailer for the game focusing on showing off the various decisions players will need to make in the game as Vincent has to deal not only with Catherine and Katherine now but also a new girl named Rin. You can find the video below and keep an eye out for Catherine: Full Body when it is released on the PlayStation 4 on September 3rd in North America and Europe.

Two Point Hospital Coming to Consoles in Late 2019

Just like how its inspiration started as a PC game before coming to the PlayStation it looks like Two Point Hospital will now be heading to consoles as Two Point Studios and Sega have announced that the game will be heading to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch later this year where it will be available both physically and digitally.

While the PC version is priced at $35 the console release will likely be a bit higher as the company announced that the console versions of the game will include not only the base game but also the “Bigfoot” and “Pebberly Island” expansion packs and they are planning a number of free updates in the future.

For those who have yet to try out the game, players will build up a hospital from scratch all while optimizing your hospital design to increase patient (and cash) flow, arranging corridors, rooms and waiting areas to your exact specifications. Expand your hospital to multiple buildings as you look to get as many patients through the door as possible.

John Wick Hex Video focuses on “Gun-Fu”

You may remember that back in May a game based around the John Wick franchise was announced for release in the future by the name of John Wick Hex and now Good Shepherd Entertainment and Bithell Games have released a featurette video that focuses on the “Gun Fu” aspect of the series and how the team worked with a number of stunt men that appeared in the movie in an attempt to capture its essence in the game.

Seeing firsthand how John Wick analyzes a situation and executes a full-force solution with whatever he has available was key to translating the films into a fast-paced, action-oriented strategy experience that lets players become the legendary hitman himself. You can check out the video below and keep an eye out for the game when it is released in the future for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Monster Rancher 1 Port Announced for Japan

For quite some time fans have wondered if we would ever see Monster Rancher again despite the fact that the best part of the game, which involved using everything from other games to music CDs, probably wouldn’t work that well these days. Well Koei Tecmo has announced that they are doing something with the franchise but it is a bit of an odd choice.

The company has revealed that they are making a port of Monster Rancher 1, or simply Monster Farm as it was in Japan, and will be releasing it sometime this year in Japan. No platforms for the game were announced but considering this is a port of a 1997 PlayStation game it may end up being a bit limited. BE THE BAD GUY! DARK ROGUELIKE RPG IRATUS: LORD OF THE DEAD OUT NOW ON STEAM EARLY ACCESS

Dominate your enemies and raise an army from their corpses in this challenging new game from Daedalic Entertainment and Unfrozen

HAMBURG, Germany July 24, 2019 — Daedalic Entertainment and indie developer Unfrozen have unleashed the devilishly evil roguelike RPG Iratus: Lord of the Dead on Windows PC via Steam Early Access. Flipping the script on classic fantasy RPGs, Iratus: Lord of the Dead makes you a newly resurrected necromancer on a bloody quest for vengeance against the fools who imprisoned you.

Wield an array of occult powers to make your enemies recoil in fear, using the blood, guts, bones and souls of the fallen to create monstrous pawns for your own personal army. With four different skill trees to master (Alchemy, Magic, Ire and Destruction) and nearly 100 different minion skills to unlock, you’ll have plenty of choices to defeat your foes in turn-based combat.

Iratus: Lord of the Dead is a delightfully difficult roguelike that challenges your strategic prowess on all fronts, with permadeath affecting not only minions but enemies, as well. Body parts and essence are finite resources in the game’s sprawling dungeon overworld, so you’ll need to think carefully about what you conjure and how it’ll help you exact revenge.

Key Features

  • Be EVIL: Play as the villain and use dark necromantic powers to crush your heroic foes!
  • Craft an army from the body parts of dead enemies: Pick from 16 different types of undead minions like zombies, vampires, mummies, banshees and more with nearly 100 unique talents.
  • Advanced turn-based battle system: Learn your enemies’ weak points, exploit them with physical and magical abilities, and attack their minds to drive them insane.
  • Combat and choices with consequences: Classic roguelike features including character permadeath.
  • Choose from four types of necromancer talents that change the way you play, including Alchemy, Magic, Ire and Destruction.
  • Intelligent enemy AI and multiple difficulty levels to challenge even experienced RPG strategists.
  • Improve and expand your underground lair to grow in power.
  • Detailed 2.5D art style with fully animated effects evoking classic dark fantasy atmosphere.
  • Standout voice acting from Stephan Weyte, who played Caleb in the hit Blood franchise.

Iratus: Lord of the Dead will be continuously updated and expanded throughout early access with new content, features and improvements. To stay up to date on the latest developments, please visit Iratus: Lord of the Dead on Steam.
