Fallout 76 Wastelanders Expansion Delayed to 2020

Earlier this year it was revealed that Fallout 76 would be getting a nice shot in the arm in the form of the “New Wastelanders” expansion that would bring life back to the world sometime in the fall but now that is no longer the case. Bethesda has announced that the “biggest free update yet” will now be coming in the first quarter of 2020 as the team “needs more time to be the best, most polished update it can be.”

It wasn’t all bad news however as Bethesda did say that “Private Worlds” that allow players to only play with their friends in a server rather than jumping into a random one, will be launching next week. Alongside that however was the news that there will now be some “non-cosmetic” microtransactions coming in the future and while they don’t want to “upset the game’s balance” no details were given at the time.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Now Launching Later in 2020

After initially planning on having Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 released sometime in Q1 2020 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC Paradox Interactive and Hardsuit Labs have announced that they are now delaying the game to sometime later next year.

Hardsuit Labs’ Andy Kipling and Brian Mitsoda stated in a letter to fans that since the company has been working on the game for the last three and a half years and they want to bring out a worthy successor to Bloodlines.

They continue to say that “there are some things the team wanted to hit under all circumstances when they set out to follow in Bloodlines’ footsteps: A deep, branching storyline; fascinating and amazingly acted characters; the rich universe of the World of Darkness. They firmly believe that we’re on the right track to get you all of this.

On the flip side, there’s the responsibility to avoid some of the issues that plagued the first game, which was famously launched too early. Over the last few months, it became clear that to stick to our original date would risk repeating that mistake. We won’t do that. In the end, everyone working on this game wants to offer you the best Bloodlines 2 we can.”

HUNT: SHOWDOWN RELEASES NEW UPDATE FOR PC

Update 1.1 brings new weapons, Legendary DLC, and many other improvements to Crytek’s multiplayer bounty hunting game

FRANKFURT, Germany Oct. 18, 2019 – Crytek has released PC Update 1.1 for the online multiplayer bounty hunting game Hunt: Showdown. Having recently launched out of early access, Hunt: Showdown’s development team is already well in the habit of releasing frequent updates driven by player feedback, and 1.1 continues that tradition.

Among the community requests in Update 1.1 are the Stay-in-Lobby feature and the new Choke Bomb, which can extinguish most fires (though it will also make your Hunter cough, alerting players to your location). Other additions in the update include the Bornheim Nr 3 Match, improvements to UI, localization, gunplay, and AI, and all-new Legendary content.

The Legendary weapons arriving with Update 1.1 include an elegantly detailed Romero 77 called the Southern Belle, as well as Sins of the Son, a brutal and bloody Romero 77. In addition to these two new weapons, 1.1 brings three Legendary DLC items: the Last Gust, a Legendary Winfield M1873 Swift rifle, and two new Legendary characters: Phantom and Llorona’s Heir. The Last Gust DLC can be purchased for 3.99 USD/EUR, while the Phantom and Llorona’s Heir DLCs can be purchased for 4.99 USD/EUR each.

About Hunt: Showdown

Hunt: Showdown is a competitive first-person bounty hunting game that packs the thrill of survival games into a match-based format. Set in Louisiana in 1895, the game boasts a mixture of PvP and PvE elements that creates a uniquely tense experience. It’s not just the creatures who are a threat—it’s every Hunter on the map. In the classic game mode, a match of Hunt pits up to twelve players—playing solo or in teams of two or three—against each other as they race to take out gruesome beasts for a bounty, while Hunt’s Quick Play mode offers a shorter match for solo players to scavenge for weapons as they compete for a diminishing pool of bounty. The higher the risk, the higher the reward–but a single mistake could cost everything. Hunt is available now on Steam and Xbox One in the Microsoft store.
