Moscow, Russia – July 7th, 2020 – 101XP and Brezg Studios have revealed that their politically charged strategy game For the People is coming to Steam and 101XP.com on July 30th. In this tongue-in-cheek look at the USSR’s totalitarian regime, you assume the role of Francis River, the newly elected mayor in the Soviet inspired Commonwealth of Orange Collectives. From the start this is a difficult position, as you must walk the line between enforcing the status quo and bringing about change, making challenging moral and political decisions regarding economic distribution and social policies. How far are you willing to go… for the people?

As mayor of Iron-1 you will be expected to strike a balance between strengthening your political party to maintain power and working towards the nation’s long term growth, while also keeping the people happy. You will soon find that this is an inherently impossible task. There is no pleasing everyone, and your ethics and morals will constantly be tested as you are torn between different allegiances and values.

Resource management plays a large role in your efficacy as mayor – you must ensure that your town-forming plant is well stocked with resources and that the workers are kept happy. Plus, some of the town’s districts are in constant need of resources, such as raw materials for light industry, fuel and food supplies, and especially vital during a pandemic – pharmaceutical drugs. A single error could cause the situation to spiral out of control, and before you know it you’ll have an uprising on your hands.

In addition to managing the town’s resources and keeping your party and people happy, you must also lead up severe crime investigations with the help of town committee-appointed agents. The success of each investigation depends on the agent’s aptitude, their reputation, personality and physical abilities, so all of these factors must be weighed when you assign them to cases, because their failure will come back on you. And all the while you are being watched. By your political party and by the people. 

Every decision has consequences, with more than five different possible endings to the game. The ultimate fate of this parallel world lies heavily on your shoulders as you untangle a web of political intrigue and decide what kind of mayor you want to be. Will you lead your town to democracy or keep it firmly under your thumb as an unyielding dictator? Will your party serve the people or will your people serve the party? The choice is yours. Don’t make the wrong one…

Lesquin, France, July 6, 2020 – June was an intense month for players of TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2! The motorcycle sim was the arena for a race between riders of the official competition and a tournament between PlayStation®4 and PC players. Here’s a summary of the virtual competitions that were held in place of the 2020 Isle of Man Tourist Trophy, which was cancelled because of Covid-19.

The first competition was held from June 2 to 6 and featured eight teams of official riders and players competing as part of the “TT Lock-in”, the entertainment programme organised by the government of Isle of Man. Davey Todd, a consultant on TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2, won with a time of 15:44.

Julien Toniutti, another consultant on the game, said: “I’m really happy I was selected for the Virtual TT 2020. It was great for many reasons. First of all, because after sessions with the developers at KT Racing in 2018 and 2019 and a press conference in 2020, the Virtual TT gave me the chance to see and experience the TT2 project from start to finish. Secondly, thanks to the Virtual TT, I achieved my best finish at the Tourist Trophy (6th place). And I must say that my teammate got the best time of everyone, which helps! Finally, with three falls suffered during my lap, it’s nice to see that I don’t have a scratch on me, which is impossible during the real Tourist Trophy. Therefore, TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 is the best simulator for training for the real Tourist Trophy.”

The second competition was held between June 13 and 29. This was reserved for players of TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 from all over the world and featured nearly 700 participants across three rounds. By setting a record time in the two first stages, Dennis K. was the firm favorite, but he finished in third place in the final standings. This unfortunate under-performance was because of an injury suffered just a few hours before the final stage.

The final was as tight as it gets with a mere 3.4 second gap between the top two riders after 1 hour 28 minutes of racing. Samuel, a 31-year-old Spanish player and motorcyclist for 15 years, just missed out on the top spot but still achieved a remarkable second place.

First place went to Ludvig, a 22-year-old Swedish player, with a time of 1:28.56. He said: “Congratulations to all participants, who never stopped pushing themselves to the limit and sharing tips. I could never have won with that.” A motocross fan and motorcycle rider, he likes to follow the Tourist Trophy on the screen. He will now be able to experience the event live thanks to the grand prize: a trip for two to the 2021 Tourist Trophy! The second and third place finalists won a Limited-Edition TT 2020 Arai helmet and an RST merchandise pack respectively.

DEFEND AGAINST THE MACHINE CIVILIZATION IN FIRST GLOBAL UPDATE FOR STONEAGE WORLD

Protect Tectonika against Mechanical Pets for Powerful and Primitive Rewards

JULY 6, 2020 – LOS ANGELES – Netmarble announced first content update for pet-collecting mobile MMORPG StoneAge World, introducing Machine Invasion, the first invasion of land of Tectonika by Machine Pets. Now weekly battles against Machine Pets, alongside other in-game improvements, are available for players to conquer.

Every week on specifics days the Machine Invasion will occur. Machine Pets (one of Kaki family) will invade the field of Gravelin Island, where trainers are tasked to clear the land against these enemies. PUBG MOBILE CRACKS DOWN ON CHEATERS WITH LATEST COUNTERMEASURES

LOS ANGELES – July 6, 2020 – In ongoing efforts to identify and ban cheaters, PUBG MOBILE continues to update the security measures and in-game system. Today, it is announced that PUBG MOBILE has remedied an ongoing cheat that will kill players in one shot. Below is an official statement from the patch note regarding the fix:

“PUBG MOBILE’s official team is dedicated to bringing you a fair gaming environment by punishing players who disturb this environment.

Through player feedback, we have recently discovered a new cheat that one-shot kills players then inverts their screen momentarily. The official team immediately went into action and tracked players who have used this cheat. Over 10,000 players have been issued a 10-year ban from the Operations team for harming the gaming environment. Our team will not show restraint to those who undermine the fair gaming environment and use cheats of this type.

PUBG MOBILE Operations Team will continue to work hard to provide the best gaming experience for all players who follow the rules. We ask all players for their support in our continued enforcement. Please respect the rules of the game and play fair.”

Today’s anti-cheat measure follows the “Project: Ban Pan” campaign, which was first revealed at thePUBG MOBILE Club Open 2019 Fall Split Global Finals. The initiative has introduced the Death Replay function in the last update, which allows players to immediately see how they were killed from the perspective of their opponent to further identify suspicious behavior.
