New WWE 2K Battlegrounds Trailer Talks Game Modes with Paul Heyman

WWE, 2K, and Saber Interactive tapped long time WWE manager, commentator, and director Paul Heyman to give players the first in-depth look at WWE 2K Battlegrounds’ game modes. The video production team had a little bit of fun with the video; writing, illustrating, and printing an actual hardcover story book for Heyman to read from.

WWE 2K Battlegrounds features five game modes.

Exhibition mode is designed for quick pick up and play action for up to four players. The mode supports online and couch co-op play. Gamers can choose from a variety of classic match types like One-on-One, Triple Threat, and Tag Team matches.

King of the Battleground Mode pits eight players against each other to be the last person standing in the ring. Four players start in the ring and only earn points while in the ring. Each time a player is physically thrown out of the ring, a new player steps in.

Online Tournament Mode features time limited tournaments with a variety of game modifiers. The tournaments will offer prizes for participation.

Battleground Challenge Mode lets players create their very own WWE Superstar and climb the ladder in a series of fights.

Nexomon: Extinction Offers Near Full Nexopedia

Those looking to spoil themselves on what Nexomon: Extinction has to offer in the way of what Nexomon that they can capture and train now have the chance to do so as PQube and VEWO Interactive have launched an online “Nexopedia” for the game that gives players a look at nearly all of the 381 Nexomon in the game. The company has noted that some of the “Tyrant Nexomon” have been able to keep their identities hidden but considering this is the first entry in the series for many, it may be best going in mostly blind anyways.

PQube has also given us a glimpse at the total world map that can be found above. Currently Nexomon: Extinction is set to be released digitally and physically on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch as well as digitally on the PC and Xbox One on August 28th.

The longer you stay in the arena, the higher your score climbs. The second you send someone flying, another Superstar waiting outside the ring enters the fray;
  • Online Tournament Mode: Take the action online for rewards in a variety of time-limited tournaments featuring a wide range of win conditions. Keep an eye out… you never know when a new Battlegrounds tournament might be kicking off;

Our heroes must exorcise their neighbors from hell, fight their way back to the haunted High School and rewind their summer to save the world!

Two heads are better than dead. Team up in local co-op, then pump, refill, and spill ‘em all with Splasha squirt guns, loaded with an infinite supply of holy water. Pump past the limit with Overpump and unleash holy hydro hell. Swap & pop Nozzles to drench demons with different shots, effects, and Overblasts – then upgrade the Splasha’s stats with Nitro Splashtanks found throughout the ‘burbs of Fairweather.

Getting lost finding possessed citizens in procedurally-generated levels? Not with the radical Radar Radio called the RadWatch. Level it up by slaying monsters to boost its range and ability to find survivors. Depending on your choices, some citizens will Tune-Out! – and transform to climactic combat challenges where one of three choices must be made: DAMN, DELIVER, or DIE. Be kind and rewind by draining their recharging stamina with a Holy Hi-Fi arsenal to DELIVER them from evil, or blast through with Lethal Lo-Fi weaponry to let them stay DAMNED.

Don’t worry about death – with infinite timelines, another April & Joey are ready to DAMN! or DELIVER all over again. This time, smash through and loot the ‘hood. Knock over mailboxes, trashcans, and more to find household weapons that exploit monster weaknesses. Freeze Zombos, zap Zaplings and vaporize Vampunks with Garlic Pizza. Collect VHS tokens from Boss Demons to unlock new permanent meta upgrades in the hideout.
