Heavy Cavalry is marching towards War Thunder

Latest main battle tanks and dozens of other new vehicles are joining the fight

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the next major content update “Heavy Cavalry” will be available for the military online action game War Thunder in mid-June. It will feature the very latest modern MBTs, such as the American M1A2С Abrams, the true knights of the modern battlefield. Dozens of other new vehicles are coming to the game including Yak-130 and M-346FA light combat/trainer aircraft and the immense North Carolina battleship. The game environment, objects, buildings, and roads have been completely redesigned for the classic 38th Parallel and Ash River locations, and a new version of the winter Ardennes map will be added.

The M1A2C, the most advanced production variant of the U.S. Abrams main battle tank, arrives in War Thunder as the new peak of the M1A2 line. Building on the SEP v2 family, this modernized Abrams features significantly improved frontal turret protection, making its turret cheeks extremely difficult to penetrate at medium and long ranges, while the researchable TUSK package adds ARAT 2 explosive reactive armor to the hull and turret sides for extra protection against ATGMs. Its firepower is also upgraded with the powerful M829A3 APFSDS round, designed to perform better against certain types of explosive reactive armor, while the U.S. version also gains the XM1147 high-explosive round with a programmable fuse.

The Yak-130 is a compact and highly agile modern Russian strike aircraft, bringing impressive handling, strong thrust-to-weight ratio and a surprisingly diverse suspended arsenal. Developed from the same early training aircraft project that later led to Italy’s M-346 family, the Yak-130 will be joined in the same update by Italian M-346FA, giving players two related but distinctly different aircraft to master.

The Yak-130 is powered by two turbofan engines, capable of reaching around 1,050 km/h at sea level while remaining exceptionally responsive in flight. It does not carry radar or air-to-air guided missiles, but makes up for this with a wide selection of ground-attack ordnance, including several types of unguided rockets, free-fall and TV-guided bombs for precision strikes. Small, fast and easy to control, the Yak-130 should become a dangerous support aircraft for players who enjoy aggressive low-altitude attacks and precise strikes against ground targets.

One of the new features debuting in the update is the addition of arresting gear at ground airfields. An aircraft equipped with an arresting hook attaches to one or more sequentially arranged cables, significantly reducing the landing run on short airfields. Attention to small but important details like this makes War Thunder battles even more realistic with each update.

More information on the new content and features in the “Heavy Cavalry” update is available at the official War Thunder website.

SEED Launches into Early Access July 21, 2026

Steam Release Coming Fall 2026

Today, Klang Games announced that its massively multiplayer society life simulator SEED will launch into Early Access July 21, 2026 via Klang’s own PC launcher, with a Steam version coming later in Fall 2026.

Set in an always-on, evolving world, SEED is an advanced persistent MMO life simulator that places players in control of one or more Seedlings, the inhabitants of a planet called Avesta. As Cultivators, players guide their Seedlings through a growing society by assigning roles, building relationships, and shaping their environment. This dynamic world features complex life cycles including birth, death, reproduction, aging and inheritance, alongside social systems such as crime, law enforcement, justice and governance. Every alliance, every conflict, and every decision is entirely player-driven and will change the course of Avesta forever. At its heart, SEED is about guiding Seedlings through their lives, as their choices shape not only their own paths, but the world they live in.

Alongside the full PC experience, a mobile version of SEED is also in development and expected to roll out across app stores later this year. Through the app, players can check in on their always-online Seedlings on-the-go and play a fully optimized version of the game itself.

SEED officially launches into Early Access on July 21st (base price $29.99), with individual Founder’s Packs available for pre-sale from June 15th. Founder’s Pack bundles will be limited to 10,000 purchases and offer the ultimate head start, granting extra perks which include additional Seedling slots, unique cosmetics, Pollen (SEED‘s in-game currency) and the opportunity for early backers to play a role in founding the very first societies within SEED. With the Founders Pack, players also get a unique Discord role, access to private Founders-only Discord channels, and the opportunity to have their name in the game’s credits.

At launch, SEED will also offer special “Start a Society” Bundles, which include multiple user licenses to the game, so groups of 3 players can get started in creating their very own named societies on Avesta.

Key Features:

  • 24/7 Persistent Life: Avesta never stops! Seedlings continue to work, sleep, and socialize even when players log off.
  • Player-Driven Economy & Industry: Every item in Avesta, from a simple chair to complex machinery, is gathered, crafted and sold by players.
  • Collaborative Governance: Players form shared societies and define their own laws and government structures, ranging from democracies to authoritarian dictatorships.
  • “Seedling Chat”: Players talk directly to their seedlings through the “Seedling Chat”, which allows them to understand their thoughts and feelings or influence their social lives.
  • Life Cycles & Inheritance: Seedlings have a life cycle, they age and die.
  • One Shared World: In SEED, everyone is sharing the same world – with the potential to become the largest simulation in gaming history.

To join the closed beta, please visit: https://seed.game/wishlist

About SEED

In SEED, players guide seedlings, inhabitants of a new planet, as they collaboratively build a functioning society from the ground up. With no non-playable characters, every aspect of the world, from resource gathering to governance, is entirely player-driven. The simulation unfolds continuously, even when players are offline, creating an ever-evolving social ecosystem.

From forming governments and managing economies to fostering relationships between seedlings, SEED offers a deeply interactive and emergent gameplay experience where player decisions carry real consequences.

SEED is set to release into Early Access on July 21, 2026 via the SEED launcher, followed by Steam in Fall 2026.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer explores bitter rivalries at Summer Game Fest

Learn more about the runs-based story campaign and discover new location Derven Acos in the new trailer

Guildford, UK – June 5th, 2026Star Wars: Galactic Racer™, the upcoming Star Wars™ racing adventure made in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, has shared a deeper look at what’s to come in the runs-based, high-stakes reinvention of racing. At Summer Game Fest 2026, fans caught a peek at the bitter rivalry between Galactic League champion Kestar Bool and mysterious challenger Shade, discovered new location Derven Acos, and had a first look at podracing action beyond the Mos Espa Circuit.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer invites elite pilots to join the Galactic League, an underground racing league born in the lawless Outer Rim, established by racing enthusiast Darius Pax. But while Pax may have founded the League, underhanded and well-connected racer Kestar Bool has become its champion, and will stop at nothing to maintain his grip on the title. With nowhere else to turn, Pax recruits Shade, a lone racer with a personal grudge against the Bool family, to enter the Galactic League and bring an end to Kestar’s reign before his corruption grows too deep to remove.

To prove their worth in the Galactic League, pilots will engage in a series of challenges designed to test their skills. The runs-based campaign sees players carving their own path through the League, choosing between different events as they progress with unique unlocks and new challenges at every turn. There’s no turning back once an event is chosen, and if a pilot crashes too many times, they wreck out of the tour and will need to regroup, rebuild and begin again. Only certain perks and unlocks earned in previous attempts are carried over to the next run. Racers will start each tour from scratch with new decisions and choices to make for another chance to take down league champion Kestar Bool.

Kestar and Shade may be the main characters in the Star Wars: Galactic Racer campaign, but there are many other pilots vying for the top spot. In the trailer, fans can catch a glimpse of Shade exploring the paddock, where fellow racers congregate to share stories, throw down challenges, and even provide support. Each planet’s paddock features the mechanic, Hibi, and her unique workshop. Here, Shade can fit new parts either earned or bought from Hibi herself, offering stat boosts and abilities to support each player’s racing style as they prepare for races across the circuit.

The newly revealed location of Derven Acos is the ultimate test in the Galactic League – a custom-built arena designed specifically for the racing league. Derven Acos features every planetary condition that racers will have encountered throughout the tour, all combined into a mighty gauntlet that will push a pilot’s skills to the limit. Racers will need nerves of steel and a well-tuned build for the showpiece events of the Galactic League.

Fans also get their first look at the iconic podracers being piloted outside of the Mos Espa Circuit, bringing these powerful machines to planets with new challenges to overcome. In addition to discovering the part podracing plays in the singleplayer story campaign, eager racers can choose to jump straight into podracing as soon as they start playing Star Wars: Galactic Racer through the Arcade mode and will get to experience unique podracer focused online multiplayer events for the very first time.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer launches for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 6th, 2026. It will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions, both physically and digitally, with a physical-only Collector’s Edition available for the biggest race fans while stocks last. Pre-orders for all editions of the game are available now. Visit starwarsgalacticracer.com for more details.

30XX Creator Batterystaple Games Becomes the Ringmaster in Co-op Minigame Fiesta Clowntown

SEATTLE – 8, June 2026 – Clowntown, an off-beat co-op party campaign for 2-8 clowns from 30XX developer Batterystaple Games, sounds the clarion call for all noble jesters in its grand reveal at today’s PC Gaming Show before launching on PC via Steam. Are you down to clown?

The show must go on! Take center ring in a campaign of action puzzles and evolving minigames devised by the shadowy Ringmaster. Paint masterpieces, erect mighty skyscrapers, and compose a beautiful cacophony symphony – the greatest show requires many talents! Over 100 unique minigames and action puzzles stand between you and the Ringmaster, each designed to make you think, plan, fail, laugh, then use your team’s two collective brain cells to grasp sweet victory.

It’ll take focus and coordination to survive this high-wire act – teamwork makes the dream work, but what you have is probably good enough.

Roll up in the clown car and romp through a co-op adventure in Clowntown’s primary Campaign Mode. Dance upon the Ringmaster’s palm through 5-6 hours of mostly co-operative hand-designed charades built to keep the whole party laughing, crying, and yelling at each other all at once. Start the journey as friends and strive to end on good terms!

Master Clowntown’s evolving minigame series as seemingly straightforward challenges add wrinkles that could break even the most jovial of jesters. Paintblast simple pictures in Face Paint, struggle to keep your work intact as an NPC saboteur joins in Also Paint, then embrace chaos and race against the clock when the art prompt becomes ridiculously elaborate in Probably Not Paint

Clownishly collaborate to assemble simple words in Spelling Bee, then feel the ante increase as a timer and massive 28-letter words appear in Spelling Wasp. Finally, flip the script as Bees Spelling forces competing clowns to spell by collecting literal moving bees. Each of ClownTown’s fully fleshed out minigame sets grows and changes as you play, keeping the clown squad laughing and musing about what might come next.

After the campaign (or in between sessions, as a treat!), enjoy Party Mode’s two buffoonish flavors. Revel in Co-op to play curated or randomized minigame sets as a team, choosing customizable goals, difficulty levels, and mutators. Try Contest Mode to flip Clowntown’s co-op nature into something more sinister, as co-op games become free-for-alls, and clowns score individually instead of as a team.

All modes feature a dedicated “honk” button, and you can customize the sound it makes. Your teammates can’t mute this.

Clowntown will raise the curtain on PC via Steam soon. Supported languages at launch include English, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, German, Korean, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Follow Batterystaple Games on Bluesky or X for the latest updates.
