Hitman 3 Will Be a Timed Exclusive on Epic Games Store

If there is one thing that’s sure to get people talking about your upcoming game, it’s the news of exclusivity. Sure, that talk might no be all in a positive light since even a mere mention Epic might draw out some polarizing views from the PC crowd. But you know what they say, there’s no such thing as bad publicity. Or maybe there is? Only time will tell.

The third game will complete the reboot trilogy and a newly revealed location will take us all the way to Dartmoor in England to apparently solve a murder. Or cause a few more, as it is expected from Agent 47.

In any case, we’ll have to wait until January 2021 if we want to get our hands on the new entry in the Hitman franchise. Or an extra year if you’re adamant about having all the games in one place. The exclusivity period for Hitman 3 will last a year. But don’t just take my word for it, here it is from the heads at IO Interactive themselves:

HITMAN 3 pre-orders are scheduled to go live later this month and we’re pleased to have an updated line-up of platforms. In January 2021, you’ll be able to play HITMAN 3 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Google Stadia, and PC, where the game will be available exclusively via Epic Games Store for 12 months.

As an independent studio, our partnership with Epic has given us the freedom to create HITMAN 3 exactly as we imagined and self-publish the game to our players directly.

And lastly, to get you hyped up for the upcoming installment in the trilogy, 2016’s Hitman will be free to download and keep from 27th August to 3rd September on Epic’s store.

Marvel’s first ever MOBA for mobile, developed by NetEase Games, MARVEL Super War has made an announcement today on its official Facebook page of its official launch in Japan, South Korea, Australia, and New Zealand on August 27th, 2020.

This mobile MOBA game has been previously released in Southeast Asian regions and was met with zealous reception from the players. After a long wait, MARVEL Super War is finally coming to players in Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand!

As outlined by the game’s official Facebook post, MARVEL Super War will be available for download in App Store and Google Play Store starting from August 27th, 2020, and the servers will be opened at 12:00 PM (GMT+9) on the same day.

As a mobile game licensed by Marvel, MARVEL Super War gathers almost all of the Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains that we have known and loved in a heated battlefield. As previously disclosed, players will be able to battle in the game as more than 50 different Marvel characters, including well-beloved Super Heroes such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Captain America and Black Panther. In cooperation with ESL and TaKeTV, Deep Silver and KING Art games are hosting an extended competition featuring two days of group play and one day for the Playoffs to determine the first ever Iron Harvest gamescom 2020 champion!

PLAY FOR FREE AS EARTH’S MIGHTIEST HEROES THIS WEEKEND IN THE MARVEL’S AVENGERS OPEN BETA

SYDNEY, 21st August 2020 – This weekend, SQUARE ENIX® is giving players the chance to get a sneak peek of Marvel’s Avengers for free during the game’s Open Beta, providing budding Super Heroes with a comprehensive hands-on experience with the game ahead of its worldwide launch on September 4.
 
The Marvel’s Avengers Open Beta will be available from August 21 to 23 for all PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and PC players.
 
The beta includes four of the game’s single-player campaign Hero Missions, three HARM Room challenges, four War Zones, and five Drop Zones. All of this content adds up to hours and hours of Super Hero action! War Zones and Drop Zones can be played solo with any of the heroes in a player’s roster as AI companions or cooperatively in groups of up to four players.
 
PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players who link their Square Enix Members and Epic Games accounts then and complete the beta’s three HARM-room challenges will earn the Hulk Smashers Pickaxe with bonus Hulkbuster style in Epic Games’ free-to-play game, Fortnite*.
 
“Our previous beta weekends have already seen millions of gamers spend tens of millions of hours teaming up and smashing enemies as their favorite Super Heroes,” said Scot Amos, studio head at developer Crystal Dynamics. “We’re really looking forward to opening up the beta to anyone who wants to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC so they too can take the role of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.”
  
A Square Enix Members account will be required to play the beta. Players can sign up for the account for free at https://membership.square-enix.com/register. Everyone who signs up for an account will receive a Thor in-game nameplate in the final game.

Marvel’s Avengers offers players a truly rich experience, with a combination of Hero Missions and War Zones. Hero Missions are single-player only and are part of the initial Campaign. They are designed to showcase each hero’s unique abilities as you reassemble your growing roster. War Zones can be played solo or with a group of up to four players** as any Hero in your roster. Each mission dynamically scales based on the team size and player level.
 
Players in Marvel’s Avengers are also able to customize Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in a number of ways. Marvel’s Avengers is an ambitious game, starting with a global high-stakes race to reassemble and rebuild the Avengers. But that’s just the beginning. To ensure a continuing heroic experience for all players, the narrative of Marvel’s Avengers expands, and threats escalate with each new post-release Super Hero, region and story arc delivered to players at no additional cost once they own the core game.
 
Marvel’s Avengers will release simultaneously for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4, 2020. Overboard

Salvage
Strap on a rebreather and hit an underwater wreck for salvageable cargo to bring back to your yacht. It’s not a crime, probably – you’re practically cleaning up the oceans. Keep an eye out as you return to your vessel, though. Things may not have gone as swimmingly for Captain Darcy.

All Hands
Your patrons and beneficiaries at the Pacific Country Club need help putting out some literal fires. Fly a newly customized Tula over the links and drop water bombs from above to extinguish the flames and save the day. The one percent will thank you later.

Icebreaker
The Captain wants his vengeance on those who wronged him; head to the Defrost Fridgit warehouse and help him exact revenge.

Bon Voyage
Time to put your feet up and relax. What could go wrong? Besides a perfect storm and wave after wave of attackers armed to the teeth, that is. That could very well happen.

D-Day
At the end of the day, it is a captain’s duty to always tie up loose ends. Hop in a Kraken sub, find the big bad’s yacht and bring an end to this madness.

Complete any Superyacht Life Mission this week and come back next week to receive the Six Figure Tee, just in time to show it off at the next boat club cocktail party.

Triple Rewards in Trap Door
Continue the action over the Pacific and shoot it out against your competitors on a fast-shrinking platform in Trap Door. Kill your foes and banish them to the dreaded red zone, where they will have just seconds to make it back to safe ground before the ground disappears out from under them, dooming them to a watery grave. Stay alive to earn Triple GTA$ & RP on all games of Trap Door, all week long.

Double Rewards in Transform Races
Shift gears and shapes alike: whether you are behind the wheel of a Lampadati supercar or the controls of a Seashark cutting a wake across the waves, all Transform Races dish out double for the next seven days.
