PLAYISM Game Show Reveals New Games Before Tokyo Game Show

Livestream Event to Feature World Premieres for Next-Gen Platforms

TOKYO – 9 Sept. 2020 – PLAYISM, Japan’s oldest indie game publisher known for Bright Memory: Infinite, DEEEER Simulator, and Fight Crab, announces the PLAYISM Game Show (PGS) with a vast lineup of announcements set to air Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2020, at 11:00 am AEST with an expected runtime of two hours.

The English stream will be hosted and interpreted live by j-mon on YouTube, PGS will feature world premieres, exciting new information on unreleased titles coming to next-gen systems, a comment from President of Gearbox Publishing Steve Gibson who PLAYISM have worked together with in the past on Subnautica, and reveals of acclaimed Asian indie games PLAYISM is preparing for release in 2020 and 2021. There will also be a very special gift giveaway to celebrate the inaugural stream of the PLAYISM Game Show.

PGS serves as PLAYISM’s Pre-TGS Lineup Reveal Party ahead of this year’s all-digital Tokyo Game Show (TGS), Asia’s premier video game event taking place Wednesday, 23 Sept. to Sunday, 27 Sept. Many PGS titles will be featured in the company’s events and digital booth at the extensive virtual TGS festivities.

PLAYISM serves as a gateway between the West and the East’s best indie games. Western players have enjoyed titles such as Kero Blaster from the creator of Cave Story, Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight, and Touhou Luna Nights thanks to PLAYISM. Meanwhile, Japanese audiences enjoy localized versions of Subnautica, 2064: Read Only Memories, VA-11 Hall-A, Necrobarista, and further titles to come.

Steam Early Access update out now and adds World 5: The Canal Zone and 2 more characters

Seattle, Washington – Sept 9th, 2020 – Tribetoy and Beep Games, Inc. have announced that Bartlow’s Dread Machine, the old-timey arcade shooter based on early 20th-century parlour game cabinets, will officially launch on September 29th. This will be the first time the full adventure is available on Steam, where Bartlow’s Dread Machine is currently in Early Access. It will also serve as the game’s Xbox One debut.

Leading up to the launch, Beep and Tribetoy have today updated Bartlow’s Dread Machine‘s Early Access version to include featuring a new chapter of the pulp adventure and two more unlockable characters. The Canal Zone is the penultimate world in Bartlow’s Dread Machine and offers players another unforgettable scenario for our intrepid adventurer. Our hero will journey through dense Central American jungles to reach Teddy Roosevelt’s pet project: the as-yet unfinished Panama Canal. There, our agent discovers that the excavation has uncovered a mysterious structure, containing untold horrors and dark magic. Our villain is waiting and serves up his most dreadful creations yet as our hero contends with both monsters and a series of disturbing visions! Will our hero be able to shoot their way out of this one…? There’s only one way to find out!

In addition to this suspense-filled yarn, Early Access players will now have the opportunity to unlock two more classic characters from the past:

Bound to the clockwork gizmos running this contraption, agents are mere metal figurines roving around on rails. But these aren’t any ordinary tin toys as they have free rein on how to navigate these forking networks of tracks. Think Pac-Man if he were made of metal, wore a cool peacoat, and was packing some serious heat! Sets made of wood and tin unfold around you in real-time as you navigate this immersive puppet show. Xbox Series X to Launch November 10 for $499

For months now many have wondered when the cat and mouse game would come to an end and now Microsoft has made the first move by officially announcing the price and release date for their next gen console. The company will be releasing the Xbox Series X as well as the Xbox Series S on November 10th where they will be priced at $499.99 USD and $299.99 USD respectively.

The company has also detailed how there will be an “Xbox All Access” version also available that will allow people to purchase an Xbox Series X at a monthly rate of $34.99 for 24 months or Xbox Series S at $24.99 a month that will also include Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
