Face the Music, Save the Future as Starstruck: Hands of Time Heads to PlayStation in 2021

New Gameplay Trailer Revealed at Tokyo Game Show

NEW YORK CITY — 24 September, 2020 — Starstruck: Hands of Time, the genre-defying diorama musical where two kids and a giant hand race to rewrite history, will launch on PlayStation 4 in 2021 alongside the Steam for PC release.

As the future hangs in the balance, two youngsters unknowingly stand at a crossroads. Edwin, starry-eyed and bright, carries his acoustic guitar everywhere and longs for the cheers and applause his friend Dawn receives from her own concerts. For Dawn, the crowds mean nothing next to what her electric guitar offers: an escape from her overbearing mother and the weight of expectation.

Little do they know, a mysterious force called “The Mold” is about to manifest and corrupt life as they know it. And it’s up a moon colonist from the year 30XX, when all of planet Earth is consumed by The Mold, to help them stop it.

As the moon colonist, reach down into Edwin and Dawn’s charming world—literally!—with your giant, disembodied, time-traveling hand. Alter the course of history by opening new pathways for the teens and leaving your destructive mark on their charming small town. Smash obstacles, solve puzzles, and romp through a diorama styled world, guiding the two toward a new destiny: saving the world!

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Inc. today officially announced that an abundance of new content will be coming to ONE PIECE TREASURE CRUISE as part of an ongoing in-game campaign, slated to run from today through Oct. 21 PST. During this period, players will gain access to new characters, game modes, events and more.

The in-game campaign includes the following:

• Ver. 10.0 Big Update
  • “Pirate Rumble”- For the first time, ONE PIECE TREASURE CRUISE English and French version players will be able to go head-to-head against other pirate crews via asynchronous player-to-player competitive mode called “Pirate Rumble”. After fighting their way through one of three different qualification blocks, the last crews standing will face off in the Championship round for both in-game rewards and bragging rights across the sea.
  • “Gather Island” – By winning Pirate Rumble matches, players can unlock and upgrade their Gather Island facilities to obtain both free items and materials.
  • “Super Type” – Players will also be able to upgrade their unit “Types” into “Super Types,” allowing them to deal 2.5x damage to advantageous enemies. All same-typed members of the crew will receive Super Type bonuses, allowing players to strategically synergize their crews for maximum damage output.
• Treasure Hunt of the Powerful!
  • Special Event “Treasure Hunt of the Powerful!” will be available in the English and French version from beginning to mid-October. During the event, players can collect map fragments to obtain exclusive characters and other rewards; the community can also work together in-game to achieve additional cooperative goals.
• New Characters and Sugo-Fests
  • New versions of characters effective in Pirate Rumble will be made available for the first time during the Pirate Rumble Sugo-Fest (Sept. 24 – Sept. 30 PST), including Akainu, Aokiji and Otama. Moreover, the October Sugo-Fest starting from end of October will add new versions of effective characters for “Treasure Hunt of the Powerful!” and “Treasure Map,” including Luffy, Sabo, Katakuri and Blackbeard; players will also be granted one free 10+1 summon during the October Sugo-Fest event period.
• New Events
  • The campaign will also feature a new Kizuna Clash, Treasure Map, Clash!! Kaido and Clash!! Mr. 0.
