SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA – June 15, 2021 – Cowabunga! At Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft, in collaboration with ViacomCBS, announced that Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo, and Donatello from Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be available in Brawlhalla as Epic Crossoverson June 16.

On June 16, the arrival of the Heroes in a Half-Shell kicks off an in-game event that features a new game mode called Crew Battles, a new K.O. Effect featuring Shredder and the Foot Clan, and new signature attacks by the Turtles with appearances by Master Splinter and Casey Jones. There will also be new map art depicting the radical green sewers of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Free-For-All and 1v1 versions available. Additionally, four new totally tubular avatars featuring the Foot Clan symbol, Krang, the Technodrome, and an animated avatar with all the Turtles’ faces will be available. All items will still be purchasable and playable after the event ends. The game mode and map will also still be playable after the event ends so that you can kick some serious shell whenever you desire.

Developed by Blue Mammoth, Brawlhalla is an epic free-to-play platform fighting game that transports over 65 million players to a fight for glory in the halls of Valhalla. Choosing from more than 50 unique characters, players can jump into single-player and co-op modes, as well as online and local competitions. Wild Waterworks and Brand-New Team Modes

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 15, 2021 — At Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced that an all-new Royal mode and Ranked Matchmaking mode are now available for free in Trackmania^® as part of Starter Access. 

Trackmania is the biggest and most compelling remake of the legendary racing game, Trackmania^® Nations. Trackmania combines easy-to-learn yet hard-to-master gameplay with a large variety of tracks, regular seasons, live events and customisation options. 

Royal mode is an exhilarating and fun new 60-player game mode where players can team up with two friends to compete against other teams in a pool of 20 randomised challenging maps including one new map every day. In Royal mode, players must channel their wacky nature to overcome courses filled with animated obstacles and wild water features leading to treacherous twists and turns. Starting with 20 teams, four teams are eliminated each round until a champion team emerges. Each game will last a maximum of 15 minutes across the five rounds for the best teams. 

The new Royal mode will allow players to engage in a daily competitive feature called Super Royal, where players will have the opportunity to race amongst the best players and become the Super Royal team champion. 

Players can also generate their own Royal party code to create a private server, where they can continue the fun with their friends and communities in personalised matches. 

This new upgrade also includes new physics and mapping innovations, like water blocks and plastic blocks, as well as animated and dynamic items, giving more opportunities to build and enjoy incredible tracks. 

Also featured is an all-new Ranked Matchmaking mode, where players can link up in teams of three and take on a field of competitors to climb the in-game ranking divisions. 

Trackmania will be hosting its most prestigious competitive event, Trackmania World Cup, bringing 16 of the world’s top Trackmania esports players together for an electrifying tournament. Players and spectators can enjoy the show June 26–27 and on July 4.

The Original Watch Dogs Protagonist and the Masked Hacker from Watch Dogs 2 Are Playable in This Brand New Story  

SYDNEY, AUSTRAIA– June 15, 2021 – During Ubisoft Forward, Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs: Legion’s new expansion, Bloodline, will be available on July 6^th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation^®4, PlayStation^®5, the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store on Windows PC, Stadia, Luna and Ubisoft+*, Ubisoft’s subscription service.  

Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline is a standalone narrative expansion where players will take control of Aiden from the original Watch Dogs game and Wrench from Watch Dogs 2 in a new story arc. In Bloodline, players will follow Aiden as he accepts a routine fixer job in London to reconnect with his nephew Jackson following the events of Watch Dogs. Aiden’s mission is to infiltrate a high-tech laboratory from Broca Tech to steal a mysterious and valuable piece of technology, but his mission is compromised when Wrench escapes with the device. With his fixer contract now gone sideways, Aiden is caught in a deadly crossfire. With no real allies against a corporate giant, and with Wrench one step ahead of him, Aiden must team up with his estranged nephew Jackson, and rely on his grit & experience. With Wrench’s unpredictable behavior, things are bound to get chaotic.  

Watch Dogs: Legion – Bloodline is set before the events of Watch Dogs: Legion’s main campaign. Bloodline also features multiple side quests for both Aiden and Wrench as they get drawn into London’s struggle with authoritarianism.

Crossplay between cloud-gaming platforms and PC will be available after Stadia launch on June 30, with console crossplay and cross-progression across all-platforms coming early 2022

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — June 15, 2021 — At Ubisoft’s digital press conference, Ubisoft Forward, the company announced that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow SixSiege is coming to Stadia on June 30. From this date on, PC, Stadia, and Amazon Luna will have the opportunity to enjoy unified matchmaking and progression. Crossplay between console players and cross-progression for all platforms will be available early 2022. In addition, North Star, the second season Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 6, is launching today, introducing the new operator Thunderbird and the reworked map Favela, amongst many other updates. 

While crossplay is already available amongst consoles from the same family, crossplay will be possible between Xbox players and Playstation^® early 2022, along with cross-progression between all platforms. 

In North Star, players will discover a brand-new Defender: Thunderbird. She can deploy a Kóna Healing Station, which heals any player – ally or enemy – close to this device, even if they are downed. The Kóna Station has a cooldown between each charge. Thunderbird is a low armor, high-speed operator, equipped with a SPEAR .308 or SPAS-15 as primary weapon, and BEARING 9 or Q-929 as a secondary weapon. 

North Star introduces a reimagined Favela map with better map overview and improved navigation. These changes will improve readability, making sure players always know where they are and where they are going when playing on Favela.  

Additional updates coming with North Star include:

• New corpse icons 
• Bullet holes fix 
• Operator balancing (Melusi, Mira, and Maestro tweaks and Gas Propagation rework)

Tame eclectic creatures and battle against trainers in Coromon, the modern monster-taming RPG from TRAGsoft, capturing PC and Nintendo Switch fans’ hearts in Q1 2022. Then voyage to a distant planet to sow a frontier farm in Aurorian Studios’ One Lonely Outpost, sprouting up on Steam Early Access in Q1 2021 ahead of the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S launches. 

Meanwhile, pet-lovers can look forward to Cat Cafe Manager, a charming sim from Roost Games about restoring a family’s feline-focused bistro, as well as To The Rescue!, the heartfelt dog shelter management sim from Little Rock Games, who have partnered with The Petfinder Foundation to donate 20% of their profits support the adoption of furry companions. Both Cat Cafe Manager and To The Rescue! arrive on PC and Nintendo Switch in early 2022 and Q3 2021, respectively.

Adventure through a mysterious underground dungeon and rebuild the community that lives on the surface in Ancuchard, the civilization restoration action RPG from stellarNull. Developed in partnership with Microsoft through the Xbox Diversity Fund, Anuchard arrives on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S systems in Q1 2022. 

Freedom Games also revealed upcoming console versions of Airborne Kingdom, the acclaimed city-builder set in the sky from The Wandering Band later in 2021. Monster Outbreak, a retro-inspired 2D tower defense survival game from developer GameMunchers, also received its first public gameplay reveal, in addition to announcing a 2022 launch window for PC.

In keeping with the spirit of fun-first, inventive games, Microwave Games’ deadly game show racing platformer Slaughter League highlighted outlandish gladiatorial gameplay from recent content creator community events. Freedom Games also shared the news that Tower Rush and Sands of Aura are planned to storm PC via Steam in 2022.

Diverse Games From Partners – Konami, Lucasfilm Games, Way Forward and More – to Get the Physical Limited Run Treatment

APEX, North Carolina — June 14, 2021 — Limited Run Games today revealed 30 physical game announcements during their annual LRG3 livestream! First, they are excited to announce their continued partnership with Konami to give three great games physical releases: Contra Anniversary Collection for the PS4 & Switch, Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood for the PS4, and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood for the Turbo Duo — the first time it will be available in English for its original platform.

The collaboration between Limited Run and WayForward continues with physical PS5 releases of the first five Shantae games in addition to River City Girls, its prequel River City Girls Zero, and the upcoming sequel River City Girls 2.

Limited Run Games has also announced that the infamous 3DO title Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties is back in action with a full physical and digital release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC digitally.

Physical versions are on the way from Limited Run Games

Valencia, Calif. – June 14, 2021 – Independent game studio WayForward is delighted to announce that all five titles in the fan-favorite Shantae series are headed to the PlayStation 5 system in the months ahead. The games will be available as native PS5 purchases, or as free upgrades for users that already own the games on PlayStation 4, plus they will be offered as physical releases (in both standard and collector’s editions) through Limited Run Games. Additionally, the original Shantae will be coming both physically and digitally to PlayStation 4.

Having sold more than 3 million copies worldwide since its debut in 2002, the acclaimed Shantae series tells the story of Shantae, the hair-whipping, belly-dancing, shape-shifting, Half-Genie guardian of Scuttle Town. Along with friends such as Bolo, Sky, and Rottytops the zombie, she protects the land from nefarious pirates and other dastardly threats. The line-up of action-adventure-platformers consists of five titles, each sold separately:
