Guerrilla today announced a new chapter in the Horizon universe: Horizon Hunters Gathering, in development for both PlayStation 5 and PC, with cross-play and cross-progression support. 

Horizon Hunters Gathering is a cooperative action game that lets three players team up as heroic Hunters to protect a world under threat from deadly machines. Combat is tactical, reactive, and deeply skill-based, building on the tactical precision of the Horizon games while embracing the dynamics of team play. 

The foundation of Horizon Hunters Gathering centres on challenging, replayable hunts. So far, two game modes have been revealed: 

• Machine Incursion, a high-intensity mission in which waves of machines pour out from underground gateways, led by a formidable boss. 
• Cauldron Descent, a longer, multi-stage trial where ever-changing rooms push Hunters to their limits—from brutal machine encounters to hidden doors that promise power and rewards for teams prepared to open them.

Both modes will be available in an upcoming closed playtest through the PlayStation Beta Program on PS5 and PC. 

In Horizon Hunters Gathering, players choose from a roster of uniquely skilled Hunters – each with distinct melee or ranged playstyles and weapons – and select Hunter roles further embedded with a rogue-lite perk system to craft the build that best suits a player’s style and team. 

These Hunters have their own motivations and secrets that tie into a larger story about the world of Horizon. The game features a narrative campaign that will introduce new mysteries, characters, and threats, but it’s under wraps for now. What the team can say is that Hunters Gathering is fully canon, and its story doesn’t end at launch! 

As players hunt dangerous machines in the wilds, they’ll travel through a range of environments that bring missions and stories to life. Each location offers its own atmosphere, challenges, and opportunities for teams to explore and master together.

This all-new bite-sized-yet-flavourful narrative content delivers players a new mission and Legendary loot to collect, as well as a themed Vault Card featuring 24 cosmetics and 4 rerollable pieces of gear unlocked through gameplay. Alongside Bounty Pack 2, a major update will be released that marks an exciting addition to Borderlands 4‘s loot chase with Pearlescent gear—a new rarity tier with power levels superior to even Legendary gear. Also included in Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned is the first new playable Vault Hunter in Borderlands 4: C4SH. A former casino dealer bot, C4SH is now a drifter who chases the probability-breaking highs of cursed eldritch artifacts. Similar to the other Vault Hunters in Borderlands 4, C4SH has three unique Action Skills to choose from, and can enhance his abilities via three branching skill trees full of powerful passives, Augments, and Capstones.

Players who own Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition are automatically granted access to all of the content from the Bounty Pack Bundle (Bounty Packs 2, 3, 4, and 5) and Vault Hunter Pack (Story Packs 1 and 2), while Borderlands 4 Deluxe Edition grants the Bounty Pack Bundle. Bounty Packs and Story Packs are also available for individual purchase.

During today’s Nintendo Direct, MachineGames revealed the Nintendo Switch™ 2 launch date for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle™ is May 12, 2026. Bethesda Game Studios shared Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will launch to the platform on February 24, 2026, and announced that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be coming to the Nintendo Switch™ 2 in 2026.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle
MachineGames, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, will release Indiana Jones and the Great Circle on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on May 12, 2026.

This award-winning, cinematic action-adventure game invites players to step into the boots of the iconic adventurer and experience an authentic Indiana Jones journey set in 1937, between the events of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark™ and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade™.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition
Bethesda Game Studios announced that Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, containing the six official add-ons and packed with over 150 pieces of Creation Club content, will be available on Nintendo Switch™ 2 on February 24, 2026.

Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition is the summation of a decade of memories and adventures in the award-winning RPG, offering both new and veteran players the most complete version of Fallout 4 ever. The game takes place in a post-nuclear Boston, where players will have to scavenge, shoot, build, and create alliances to reshape the wasteland and what remains of civilization.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
Last year’s biggest surprise launch is making its way to more platforms. Later this year, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will be available on Nintendo Switch™ 2, opening Cyrodiil to Nintendo players for the first time.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition
Following last year’s digital launch of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Bethesda Game Studios announced that a physical edition (code-in-box) will be available on April 28, 2026.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition includes the base game and the three official expansions—Dawnguard, Dragonborn, and Hearthfire. Players on Nintendo Switch™ 2 will experience enhanced resolution, improved load times, performance optimization, Joy-Con™ 2 mouse support, motion controls, Amiibo support, and more, taking full advantage of the platform’s hardware. This edition offers exclusive Nintendo content from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, including the Master Sword, Hylian Shield, and Champion’s Tunic.
