Publisher Invests In Back Catalog of Hit Horror Asymmetric Multiplayer Games
Los Angeles, Calif. & Denver, Colo. – June 25, 2026 – Balor Games today announced its partnership with IllFonic, Inc. on its back catalog of games, strengthening the new publishing group’s portfolio. Balor Games will manage IllFonic’s established multiplayer titles including Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, Predator: Hunting Grounds™, Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game,and Arcadegeddon.

The studio will remain operationally independent, with its existing team continuing to manage all studio functions under the leadership of Charles Brungardt, CEO of IllFonic; Jared Gerritzen, CCO; Shannon Gerritzen, Head of Publishing; and Anthony Fassero, COO. IllFonic’s publishing resources can now be focused on its upcoming projects, including the game Halloween: The Game, a new 1v4 asymmetrical horror game releasing on September 8, 2026.
Balor Games is a newly established “Triple-I” publishing label launched in March 2026, founded by former Humble Games executives Alan Patmore and Mark Nash. Balor Games was launched following its acquisition of the Humble Bundle publishing business from Ziff Davis as well as Firestoke Games, securing publishing rights to more than 60 titles.
