Air-cushion armored cars join the fight in Crossout

Content update brings new car parts and game modes

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the “Forced Measure” major content update is now available to players in the post-apocalyptic online action game Crossout. Now, wasteland warriors can build armored cars with a new chassis type – an air-cushion vehicle. New weapons and parts from the “Lunatics” faction have also been added to the game, along with three time-limited modes with special rules.

Each of the new parts offers something unique: for example, vehicles with the “MVP Torpedo” air cushion are more resistant to contact and ramming damage, and at high speed, to all other types of damage. The “Shredder” shotgun operates on the principle that the further away the target is, the greater the damage. The “Hybrid” machine gun has two firing modes: bullets and slow projectiles that attach to the target and explode with a delay.  Players can check out the new tech in the “Test prototypes” brawl, where battles are held in pre-assembled armored cars using the new season parts.

Two other brawls are “Dangerous Cargo” (a team battle where the main goal is to escort your cargo cart to the finish line faster than the opposing team) and “Old Enemies” – a team PvP brawl created specifically for the anniversary of the post-apocalyptic vehicular combat game Ex Machina (a title made by the same developers as Crossout and originally released in 2005). Battles are fought here using festive armored cars.

The mode schedule and update information are available on the official Crossout website.
