SHANGHAI – HoYoverse today announced that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.0, titled “Where Clouds Embrace The Dawn,” will officially launch on June 6, 2025 (UTC+8). This update marks the beginning of Season 2 and coincides with the game’s first anniversary, ushering in a new chapter of exploration, characters, and anniversary-exclusive in-game rewards.
A New Region, A New Journey
In Version 2.0, players will travel to the Waifei Peninsula, where a brand-new storyline unfolds. At the heart of the region lies Failume Heights, a bustling city where players will manage the Suibian Temple, forge alliances, and confront powerful adversaries in expanded Hollow zones. Joining the journey is Yixuan, a key character from Yunkui Summit, who brings new insights and momentum to the ongoing narrative.
Enhanced Hollow Exploration and Combat
Proxies will gain new control over the power of Ether, unlocking advanced combat capabilities designed to further enhance strategic depth during Hollow missions. These additions aim to deliver more dynamic gameplay and richer tactical opportunities.
First Anniversary Rewards and Bonuses
To celebrate Zenless Zone Zero’s first anniversary, HoYoverse is offering players a range of generous rewards:
• 1 Free S-Rank Agent and 1 Free S-Rank W-Engine (from the Stable Banner)
• 1,600 Polychromes granted upon Version 2.0 update
