Resident Evil Re:Verse Pushed to Summer 2021

It looks like Resident Evil Re:Verse is going to take a bit more time in development before it is ready as Capcom has announced that it will no longer be releasing on May 7th as a bonus multiplayer title bundled with Resident Evil Village and will instead be releasing separately sometime in summer 2021.

While Capcom has not given an exact reason as to why the multiplayer game that saw characters, monsters, and locations from all entries in the series combined into a third-person shooter was delayed, it is likely due to the recent open beta tests that the company has held over the past month leading up to release. It is worth noting that while this has been delayed, the core game Resident Evil Village is still set to be released as planned on May 7th.
