The release date for Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin has been set around the world as the Edelweiss developed game will now be releasing on the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on November 10th in North America by XSEED Games, November 20th in Europe and Australia, and on November 12th in Japan.
Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin will be released both physically and digitally in North America, Europe, and Australia, with a special limited physical edition also offering bonuses such as the game itself, a 130 page art book, soundtrack CDs featuring 42 songs, a special 2″x3″ Japanese omamori charm, and a collectible custom box featuring exclusive artwork.
Players take on the role of Sakuna, a proud yet lonely harvest goddess who is banished to a dangerous island with a group of outcast humans. As she tames the island by defeating demons in gorgeous, mysterious natural settings, she will also find a home in a mountain village, proving herself worthy of her title by harvesting rice and bettering the lives of humans.
