Earlier this year in May Paramount Pictures debuted the Sonic the Hedgehog live-action movie to a less than stellar reception with almost all of the criticism focusing on Sonic’s design. The movie studio was quick to step in to state that they had heard the fans and would be working to change the design of Sonic to better match his appearance throughout the Sega video game series.
Now, four days after the film was originally set to be released in theaters in North America, the studio has debuted Sonic‘s new look in Sonic the Hedgehog and it is a significant improvement in nearly every aspect. The video can be found below alongside the movie’s new release date in North America, February 14th.
