Final Fantasy VII Remake now has an official release date as the company has announced at the “Final Fantasy VII: A Symphonic Reunion” concert in Los Angeles that the game will be releasing first on PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020. It is worth noting that this still is only the first part of the game and Square Enix has not yet detailed exactly up to what point in the story this game will go up to.
To accompany this announcement came a short trailer as well as a new piece of key art featuring Sephiroth. With Square Enix having a full E3 presentation later today, we will likely hear a bit more about Final Fantasy VII Remake soon.
