Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Announced for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One

CD Projekt Red announced the singleplayer GWENT game will launch later this year. Previously dubbed GWENT: Thronebreaker, the new title is now Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales.

The game stars Mave, Queen of Lyria and Rivia. Her leadership is about to undergo its most challenging test yet as the forces of Nilfgaard are about to invade. Mave must travel the Northern Realms to rally an army to fight back against the invaders.

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales will feature a a skill-based battle system based on the GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is scheduled to launch on GOG.com on October 23rd for PC. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will launch on December 4th.

Additionally, CD Projekt Red has announced GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will be leaving beta later this year. The PC version will officially launch on October 23rd alongside Thronebreaker. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will also launch alongside Thronebreaker on December 4th.
