It has been a bit since we heard about the latest entry in the God of War series, simply called God of War, but now that E3 has rolled around again Sony took some time during their press conference to reveal some new gameplay footage featuring combat as well as some story hints as well as a release window for the game.
Set for release in early 2018 we see Kratos and his son Atreus continue their travels, encounter hostile creatures, some possible allies, and see that Kratos’ son apparently understands the language of the World Serpent. Check out the footage for yourself below.
