Sega has released a new Yakuza 0 trailer and it shows why you don’t mess with the men that will eventually be known as the “Dragon of Dojima” and “Mad Dog of Shimano.” This video, shown below, demonstrates the fighting styles that players will be able to use while controlling Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majima with each character having three fighting styles that can be selected and trained up throughout the game to create a fighter that fits their playstyle a bit better.
Players can select from Kiryu’s Brawler style which is a balanced mix of light and heavy attacks, Rush style for rapid-fire hit attacks, and Beast that is all about showing off Kiryu’s raw strength and even allows him to pick up environmental weapons to dish out some pain. On the other side of things, Majima’s balanced form is called Thug and features shattering takedowns, counter attacks, and throws, a Slugger style and even a Breaker mode that allows for breakdance fighting.
