Siren Visual has announced that their DVD release of the first season of Nodame Cantabile will be available in stores across Australia by October 22. Pre-orders have already shipped. The release, featuring a remastered version of the complete first season with newly rendered subtitles, the OVA episode 8.5 and a short OVA titled PuriGorota Movie: Friendly Adventures in Space, is now available from Siren Visual’s online store, which can be found here. The release has a suggested retail price of $69.95 AUD. It will contain a feature that will allow viewers to watch all episodes with or without the opening and ending animation sequences depending on each individual viewer’s preference.
