playstation-all-stars-battle-royale-boxart-01

Original Price: $24.95
Sale Price: $12.95 /$11.66 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 7.4 GB

Often referred to as the not-as-good PlayStation version of Super Smash Bros., All-Stars Battle Royale was still a fun game in it’s own right and is worth a look at this price, especially if you own a Vita as if you purchase this game on the PS3 you get it for Vita at no additional cost (but please not this doesn’t work the other way round). The MedEvil level plus Isaac Clarke and Zeus character DLC bundle has also been heavily discounted to $1.95 from $14.95, so if you’re looking to add two additional characters to your roster and a level definitely jump on that. The DLC is also Cross-Buy enabled.

Hotline Miami – PS3/PS Vita

Another cheap cross buy title and even free if you are a PS Plus member, this small, high octane action title will give you hours of fun and challenge, especially if you are an older gamer after those retro thrills. With Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number releasing soon, this is definitely worth your time if your looking into the sequel.

mass-effect-trilogy-boxart-01

Original Price: $109.95
Sale Price: $29.95 /$26.96 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 36.8 GB

Probably one of the best savings in terms of sheer dollars, the Mass Effect Trilogy combines all three games in the renowned Mass Effect series, which is best known for it’s story that constantly evolves based on your choices. Even if you’ve already got one or two of these games this is still an amazing price. If you haven’t touched the series or want to replay it again from the beginning without swapping disc (the trilogy also includes the first Mass Effect which was previously unavailable on PS3 and on it’s own cost $21.95 as a digital download), this is the best entry price you will ever see.

Decent Savings

batman-arkham-asylum-boxart-01

Original Price: $24.95
Sale Price: $12.95 /$11.66 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 6.6 GB

No doubt a game that revolutionised Superhero games and showed they can be much, much more than what we had available to us at the time. This gem should be picked up and this is a decent price, however only buy if you are sure you are not interested in any of the included extra DLC available in the Game of the Year Edition (where you play as the Joker in 4 additional challenge maps).

Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition – PS Vita

injustice-gods-among-us-ultimade-edtion-boxart-01

The DC fighter that allow’s you to pit your favourite superheroes against eachother within the great fighting system crafted by the creators of Mortal Kombat. This is the superior edition with additional characters, skins and missions. The only negative is that the sale is only on the Vita version.

Kickbeat – PS Vita

kickbeat-boxart-01

Original Price: $13.25
Sale Price: $4.35 /$3.48 for PlayStation Plus Members

While this game might not have been worth it at it’s previous price point, this guitar hero meets martial arts genre mixer give’s more than enough satisfcation at this bargain price. Worth it just so you can beat up goons to the beat of your own music library.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 – PS3

one-piece-pirate-warriors-2-boxart

Original Price: $89.95
Sale Price: $39.95 /$35.96 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 7.9 GB

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 actually received our PS3 Game of the Year 2013 award after The Last of Us took out the overall award and was touted as the most enjoyable game on PS3, One Piece fan or not. This brawler is all about fun, blending the Dynasty Warriors Style with the imaginative world of One Piece.

Not-so-Specials

Batman: Arkham City – PS3

batman-arkham-city-boxart-01

Original Price: $39.95
Sale Price: $17.95 /$16.16 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 7.7 GB

Again, another great game but just not worth it at this price, especially if you are planning to buy all the DLC seperately which can cost alot. Much better off purchasing the Game of the Year Edition online or at your local retailer.

Star Trek – PS3

star-trek-boxart-01

Original Price: $39.95
Sale Price: $17.95 /$16.16 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 7.7 GB

There are two reasons a game would be in this section of the list, either it can be found at a better price somewhere else, or the game just sucked. Star Trek is definitely the latter. Even at this price, avoid unless you are an absolutely massive Star Trek fan.

Best of the Easter Sale

Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch – PS3

ni-no-kuni-boxart

Original Price: $24.95
Sale Price: $10.35 /$9.32 for PlayStation Plus Members
File Size: 21.7 GB

Receiver of our hidden gem of 2013 award, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch was one of the best games of 2013 and one of the best classic RPG’s ever to be released. With a beautiful art style, an extraordinarily imaginitive world and fantastic battle system, any RPG/Adventure fan would be mad to pass up this game at this low price.
