SUPER MARIO 3D WORLD
Nintendo have been utilizing their famed mascot in the past few years to bring numbers in and deliver a sure sale with quality attached. Right when some mild frustration began to kick in however, Super Mario 3D World took the Wii U out of 2013 with an explosion, bringing one of the most enjoyable experiences the plumber had ever been a part of.
A truly exceptional soundtrack, imaginative and fresh gameplay, and a ton of charm come ready for insertion here, treating the player to something truly unforgettable. Just like the smaller 3D Land did for the once ailing Nintendo 3DS, Super Mario 3D World will be remembered as the first triple A release for the Wii U to make players believe. Mario is back, with all of the new ideas, nostalgia, and happiness that we have turned to for decades for – showing the new guys on the block that you can indeed teach an old cat new tricks. – Dustin Spencer
