It is always a problem for a company whenever information is leaked out before they choose to reveal it. Usually this is a mistake from a retailer of some sort, but this time around it is a mistake from the Xbox Live Marketplace itself. For a very brief moment, the listing on the marketplace for Assassin’s Creed 3 listed “Online co-op 2 – 4” alongside the game’s standard “Online multiplayer 2 – 8.”
This listing for co-op has since been removed from the Xbox Live Marketplace but not before it was snagged by Videogamer. Now this information could actually be false, but it could also be true, being the first time a co-op campaign was added into the Assassin’s Creed franchise.
