PARIS – April 10, 2024 – BlackMill Games, the studio behind the WWI Game Series, today releases even more content for Isonzo, the authentic World War I FPS set on the Italian front. Climb to victory with the unique, limited-time Ascent game mode, a free update improving gameplay on consoles, and new DLC. Today also marks the release of Isonzo’s Ultimate Edition on PC, gathering all paid DLC in one bundle (coming soon to consoles).
Climb to victory with a new free mode: Ascent
Ascent is the first temporary mode for Isonzo and brings new climbing-based gameplay that has never been experienced in first-person shooters. Scale a sheer mountainside with only a pickaxe as bullets and rocks fly past in what might be the most daring way to assault an enemy position seen during the war! During each Ascent match, 32 players must battle it out to either hold their position on the mountain or conquer it. Earn your special event medal upon completion before it ends!
“As with our previous special events for the WW1 Game Series, such as the Verdun Christmas Truce event, Ascent stays true to our tradition of offering players a brand-new way to experience the conflicts of WWI, this time in the most extreme heights of the Italian Alps,” said BlackMill Games Founder Jos Hoebe.
The console version of Isonzo has received a massive update with a range of quality-of-life improvements. Additionally, to enhance cross-platform and cross-gen compatibility in the console environment, voice chat has been added, meaning that soldiers on PlayStation and Xbox can now communicate by voice for the first time in the series!
Gear up for altitude!
When ascending to such heights in these conditions, it is important to gear up properly. For this exact reason, the “Altitude Units Pack” is being released alongside Ascent. This pack contains all kinds of clothing suitable for cold alpine warfare: fur-lined coats, fitting jackets, warm boots and even ski uniforms. There are also new headgear variants, mustaches, goggles, pipes and faces for both Italian and Austro-Hungarian soldiers.
Isonzo, the “Altitude Units Pack” DLC, and the game’s free update are now available on Steam, PlayStation 5 & 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, and the Epic Games Store. The Ultimate Edition is available on Steam and the Epic Games Store now and will come to consoles at a later date. Get the game and its various DLC sets at up to 67% off for a limited time, and enjoy the Ascent mode for free until April 24!

Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders Celestino Vietti and Filippo Farioli were hosted at Milestone offices in Milan to provide their consultancy on the development of the new chapter of the franchise
Sydney, Australia, April 10, 2024: MotoGP™24,the new instalment of the official MotoGP™ videogame will be soon available, bringing all the thrills of the most prestigious two-wheel championships in the world back on consoles as of May 2, 2024. Over the past year, the Milan-based development team was able to count on two special consultancies to raise the bar of simulation even higher: Moto2™ rising star Celestino Vietti and Moto3™ young talent Filippo Farioli were hosted at the company’s offices to provide their feedback on the riding physics and how to make it as faithful to reality as possible.
Having Vietti and Farioli testing the game at its early stage of development was particularly important to improve one of the trickiest aspects of replicating in the game what a real rider does on the track, namely the management of both the corner entry and exit phases. This is where riders’ talent really makes a difference, pushing their bikes to the limit to achieve the best possible performance, something that players will be able to fully experience in MotoGP™24. Vietti and Farioli’s expertise was indeed key in designing a much more forgiving gameplay compared to the previous instalments. This will allow players to reach the edge of physics possibilities in a more controlled way, thus leaving more room for their gaming skills, while simultaneously increasing the level of realism.
In particular, following the riders’ suggestions, the rear end of Moto™2 bikes will feel slightly unstable at the beginning of the braking phase. Next, a stronger engine brake will come into play; this has been enhanced to push players toward a racing style closer to the one that is most effective in real races. Indeed, as explained by Vietti, the best way to approach a turn with a Moto™2 is to delay the braking point and then brake as hard as possible. Braking too hard into the corner will obviously cause a front-end tuck, but compared to previous years the braking power will be way more manageable by the players so that they can exert a greater influence on one of the most decisive phases of motorbike racing. Furthermore, once the brakes are released, the behaviour of the bike has been modified to make it smoother and more manoeuvrable during fast changes of direction. While leaning, it will be then important to quickly pick up the bike to reduce the dip time and release the full power in the exit phase. Here, the absence of electronic control systems will play a major role when riding a Moto™2 compared to a MotoGP™, as players will have to find the right percentage of acceleration to unload all available horsepower without incurring a high-side; for this purpose, a smoother power delivery system has been implemented.
Vietti and Farioli’s testing sessions were therefore fundamental in creating a racing model that, while maintaining its simulative nature, will better valorise the individual skills of each player, bringing their experience closer to that of real riders.
MotoGP™24 be available on May 2, 2024, on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, and Steam.

Ubisoft revealed more details about cunning scoundrel Kay Vess and her companion Nix’s search for an opportunity of a lifetime. After Sliro places a bounty on Kay’s head, Kay and Nix are offered their one shot at freedom: pull off one of the greatest heists of all time. Kay and Nix will need to navigate the underworld across the galaxy, building their reputation with legendary criminal organizations including the Pyke Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel, the Ashiga Clan** and Crimson Dawn to earn the support they need to finish the job.
“In search of true freedom, the resourceful Kay and Nix will journey through the underworld and across the Outer Rim, taking on jobs from syndicates, facing off against intimidating foes, avoiding oppressive Imperial rule and recruiting a skilled outlaw crew in order to pull off one of the greatest heists the galaxy has ever seen,” shared Julian Gerighty, Creative Director.

Along the way, Kay will explore bustling cities and cantinas, race across sprawling outdoor landscapes on her speeder, and pilot her ship the Trailblazer through the wilds of space. When things go awry, the Trailblazer will also help them chase, evade and attack to gain the upper hand in thrilling dogfights with the Empire and other foes.

Fight back from the bottom to take down corporations controlled by the mayor of Rockhaven in 3rd person open world simulation
Edinburgh, Scotland – April 9th, 2024 –Firestoke are pleased and also slightly concerned to announce that they’ve entered into a partnership with developer Usual Suspects to publish their outrageously fun 3rd person open world simulation, It’s Only Money. Despite barely being able to tie their own shoelaces, these clowns have somehow managed to make a ruthlessly compelling and colourful 3rd person open world simulation that supports up to 4-player multiplayer.
In It’s Only Money, you take on the role of an Undercity resident, cast down by the newly elected evil mayor into the sewers and subways. Your goal is to venture to the surface to steal, fight, destroy and, ultimately, take down the corporations owned by the Mayor’s corrupt cohorts. Win back the city block by block as you buy houses, businesses, clothes, cars and whatever else your materialistic heart desires as you become the low-life living the high life.
Make the city of Rockhaven your playground as you complete missions and activities, go shopping, pickpocket the rich, lockpick cars and steal their contents, or hotwire them and take a joyride. Get into fights with the local police department, or simply tour the city and enjoy the fine dining at a Mayor Mart. Whatever. Do it all with up to 3 other friends (or randoms). Steal together, fight together, complete missions together or just hang out in a club and gamble. If you’re feeling competitive, why not engage in various PvP minigames, such as Prop Hunt, where you disguise yourself as couches, fence posts, garbage cans or whatever you can find in the street. Think of it as hide and seek for your inner shapeshifter.
It’s Only Money is currently in Early Access and there is a big new content drop on the way soon when Chapter 2 releases on April 23rd. The vehicle focused update overhauls handling and AI, and adds purchasable garages, new cars, a personal valet and the ability to customise your rides. The update also adds a redesigned opening to introduce players to the game’s open world aspects, as well as the first ‘Side Hustle’, dubbed ‘Courier’. Then there is the debut of bikes and scooters, new properties and clothing to buy, expanded chest and quest rewards, along with other additions and improvements.
“It might seem a little strange to publicly insult a development partner in a press release, but trust me, those guys aren’t going to see this – they couldn’t even figure out how to rent office space, so I doubt they’ve even discovered the internet yet.” said Paul Farley, CEO at Firestoke “To be honest the game is pretty damn awesome, so it’ll make us money regardless. In the meantime, we’ve found somewhere suitably low rent for them to work. Sign up to the It’s Only Money Discord server and keep an eye on them for us, who knows what madness they’ll get up to when we’re not looking…”
“We’re really stoked that some people from “Scotland”, which apparently is a country we’re not entirely convinced exists, took a punt on our game,” said Aaron Alexander, Co-Founder of Usual Suspects. “It means so much to toil away, giving up our blood, sweat and tears for a product, only for it to now be controlled by a corporate entity. Nothing makes us happier as a team knowing that our dream of being game developers has become a living nightmare for the foreseeable future. Thanks Firestoke.”
About Usual Suspects
Usual Suspects was founded in 2020 by Aaron Alexander & Jayde Cohen. They had no ambition to run a real company, but very quickly found investment and other opportunities after they had quickly developed an open world prototype in Unreal Engine. Being mature and wise businessmen, they decided the best thing to spend their money on was hiring multiple friends full time to help flesh out the project into a real game. Against all conventional wisdom and sensible business practices, somehow It’s Only Money was successfully developed and released to the world. Despite an admittedly “rough” exterior, the developers at Usual Suspects have a combined 35 years of experience in the games industry, shipping titles from the indie level all the way up to AAA at various studios.
