Round-Based Survival FPS Receives a Massive 1.0 Update Featuring New Objectives, Weapons, Story Content and more.

Penarth, Wales, Thursday 14 March – Wales Interactive has announced their round-based zombie survival FPS Sker Ritual will launch on 18 April for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. A spinoff to the award-winning British horror title Maid of Sker and developed by a core team of five, Sker Ritual contains everything from the PC Early Access version as well as a huge 1.0 update, featuring  new objectives, weapons, story content and more.

In Sker Ritual, players battle waves of vicious horrors, alone or in up to four-player co-op, as they attempt to survive the onslaught of the Quiet Ones. Shoot through hordes of enemies, collect Celtic God powers, upgrade an arsenal of steampunk weapons and attempt to defeat the evil on Sker Island.

Sker Ritual Key Features:

• Traverse alone or rally with friends: Battle the Quiet Ones alone or with up to three additional players in online co-op. Be warned, the hordes scale based on the player count.
• Four haunting locations to explore: Fight your way through four maps each with their own secrets to uncover. Explore the Cursed Lands of Lavernock, Ashes of Sker Hotel, Sewers of the Dead, and Deadly Lover’s Fortress. 
• Wield the power of Celtic Gods: Killing enemies offer a chance to drop powerful Miracles, each offering a choice of three upgradable powers. Bound to a Celtic God, each upgrade comes with a different rarity, core attributes and power.
• Face off against terrifying horrors: The Quiet Ones are back and they have brought friends. Sker Island is crawling with new enemies and elites, each with their own abilities and one goal in mind, total destruction.

Aiming to deliver an experience that perfectly mirrors the emotion of real-life racing, the series continues to add some of the features most frequently requested by the community. Following the introduction of Dynamic Weather and the Flag-to-Flag races last year, MotoGP™24 will get players even closer to the real competition through the addition of the Riders Market and the Stewards.

Marc Márquez’s move from the Repsol Honda Team to the Independent Gresini Racing MotoGP™ Team, riding a Ducati, was a seismic move in MotoGP™. From now on such twists and turns can also play out in the official videogame thanks to the new Riders Market, which opens up endless possibilities for riders to move to other teams. That means every season will start with a different roster, and players will not only compete to win races and championships but also to find a new seat or retain their current one. Likes and replies on the fictional Social Network will even fuel rumours about possible rider transfers.

The new MotoGP™ Stewards will be responsible for monitoring the race and any timed session during the weekend, penalising riders and AI alike based on their behaviour on the track. From simple Warnings to Long Lap or Time Penalties, as well as Let Pass orders in case of unfair overtaking up to cancelled qualifying times, both players and AI will incur penalties if they break the rules. Irresponsible riding will even have greater consequences on rivalries with other riders.

The Riders Market and the Stewards provide players with the most dynamic career mode developed in a MotoGP™ game, complementing the new design introduced in the previous chapter.

Most importantly of all, Milestone’s commitment to giving every fan the best playing experience has led to the introduction of a new “Adaptive Difficulty” system. The system dynamically adjusts the difficulty of opponents based on the player’s performance, tailoring the game difficulty to each player’s skills. From beginners to pros, MotoGP™24 offers a great gameplay experience to everybody.

AI and physics will alsooffer substantial improvements.The AIhas been refined to replicate the real riders’ approach to racing. Former World Champions will leverage their experience, waiting before striking with the winning overtake. Rookies will be out to prove themselves from the off. In terms of game physics, a new electronic tuning system has been designed to better manage corner entry and exit, improving power delivery to control rear wheel slip and the bike’s tendency to wheelie. Another important aspect is tyre management, which has been revised to ensure the performance of all tyre compounds on various tracks while maintaining a distinct feel for each tyre.

The online section of MotoGP™24 will also be enriched with LiveGP* Championships, a new multiplayer mode conceived for the most competitive players. These are seasons composed of a certain number of LiveGPs*; players will be challenged to climb the overall Championship leaderboard by scoring points at each LiveGP* they attend. Cross-play**will also allow fans to hit the track and compete regardless of their platform and console generation, right from day one. Moreover, the 2-player local split-screen is confirmed for PlayStation, Xbox, and Steam versions to allow side-by-side challenges with friends.

New DLC, New Game Modes and Challenges Are Coming in 2024!

SYDNEY. AUSTRALIA – MARCH 14, 2024 – Today, Ubisoft detailed additional content coming for critically acclaimed Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown in 2024, the first content drop coming March 20.

New content will include multiple free updates inviting players to rediscover Mount Qaf, thanks to new modes and new challenges, as well as new outfits for Sargon. Later this year, Ubisoft will also release a paid DLC providing hours of new content including brand-new storyline, environments, and enemies.

The first Title Update, called Warrior’s Path, will be available on March 20 and will bring a Speedrun Mode, a Permadeath mode and four new outfits for Sargon. This content will be free for every player who already owns Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.

The next updates, called Boss Attack and Divine Trials, will respectively include: a Boss Rush challenge and new outfits for Sargon; and new Combat, Platform, and Puzzle Challenges, along with new Amulets, Outfits for Sargon, and other surprises! Prince of Persia™: The Lost Crown is currently available at a suggested price of AU$79.95 for the Standard Edition and AU$89.95 for the Deluxe Edition on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, as well as Windows PC through the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store.

Blood-soaked sequel comes to haunt your home…computer

Trapped in a digital hellscape by terrified teens, Skullface must slash his way through the oddly familiar (yet legally distinct!) streaming service known as TERRORTUBE. Murdering his way across numerous environments and parodies of classic 1980s films, Skullface must find a way to escape TERRORTUBE and return to the real world.

Choose from one of five killer classes, each with customizable skins and distinct abilities to make murder marvelously messy. Phase through objects as a Ghost, paralyze victims as a Beast, or stick to the classics and paint the town red as a Slasher. Leave a trail of death and destruction behind in order to find a way out of this digital prison. 

Solve fiendish environmental puzzles to corner your victims, then torture them in hilariously gory fashion. Scare them to death, set deadly traps, or get creative with the tools available – crush victims with boulders or mulch them with lawnmowers. Keep your kills creative to insure Skullface is always smiling under that spooky lil’ mask.

The PC version offers a bevy of improvements from the original, including a revamped interface, increased graphical performance, and Steam achievements and leaderboards. Bonus content such as an “Endless Mode” take inspiration from classic arcade games, challenging players to creatively reach the ultimate high score, and special Steam Deck enhancements allow you to use those weird buttons and stuff on the back of the Deck to shake, throttle, and mangle victims in embarrassingly kinetic fashion.

New teammate SSR [Shattered Pride] Vicente (Red Element, Assassin, Sorcerer) has been added as a new playable character. Vicente is Hoaqin’s brother and one of the personalities that had been in a slumber within White, who now stands on the other side of Hoaqin in order to make White’s personality more whole. An assassin who uses Spells to teleport his enemies, he is known for his debuff and buff skills.

A new side story ‘Herring Chase’ is now available as part of this new game update. The story depicts Vicente and Wangnan Ja recalling the past while looking for a way to stop Hoaqin.
