tinyBuild Debuts tinyBuild Connect, an Online Showcase with New Reveals and Updates to Beloved Roster

Steam publisher sale featuring discounts up to 80% across all tinyBuild titles is live until 27 May

SEATTLE – 21 May, 2024 – Publisher tinyBuild proudly hosts its very own showcase, “tinyBuild Connect,” revealing new titles and spotlighting new updates to upcoming and previously released games. 

To kick off the festivities, tinyBuild debuted one of its biggest Steam publisher sales to date, offering discounts of up to 80% across its legendary portfolio until Monday, 27 May.

Since its inception more than a decade ago, tinyBuild has become one of the largest developers and publishers in the indie/AA space. The company has been recognized for its stellar catalog, including successful franchises like Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, and more. 

tinyBuild Connect featured 14 games in an all-star lineup consisting of both announced and new reveals:

SEATTLE May 21, 2024 – Publisher tinyBuild and developer tinyBuild Riga today announced at tinyBuild Connect that DUCKSIDE, the upcoming persistent-world survi-fowl game, will host a new open beta test on Steam starting June 6, 2024. Oberhaching, Germany, May 21 2024 – Developer SpaceRocket Games and publisher Toplitz Productions announce Permafrost, an exciting new addition to the survival game genre and one with a chilling narrative; Permafrost thrusts players into a bleak, open-world urban landscape where survival is not just a choice—it’s a necessity.

In the wake of the cataclysmic ‘shattering’, an apocalyptic moon phase phenomenon, humanity finds itself teetering on the brink of extinction as the world succumbs to an eternal deep freeze. The game reveals the collapse of existing political and economic structures and the deadly winter cold that has resulted in the deaths of billions of people.

As a survivor, adaptability is key. It’s not just the brutal elements that are a threat, in Permafrost players will use deadly combat to defend against threats using primitive weapons or firearms, whether facing hostile enemies or natural predators in this relentless battle for survival.

Newfangled Games has announced the launch of paper-folding puzzle adventure game Paper Trail today on PC, consoles, and the Netflix mobile app. Enter a charming world crafted entirely from paper, where each fold will help players explore, progress, and meet new characters.

Players will follow the story of aspiring academic Paige as she travels across top-down paper levels, solving puzzles and overcoming obstacles by folding the very world around them. As players progress, new gameplay opportunities will emerge, allowing them to drag objects, shine lights, and push boulders across newly created paper paths. There’s a cast of colourful characters to meet along the way with their own interesting stories to tell, and beautiful environments to take in.
