The stealth extraction horror has released a new trailer to coincide with Kickstarter campaign launching May 21

Sydney – May 21, 2024 – Sydney based Australian independent developer, weforge studio, has released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming co-op stealth extraction horror game, Macabre, unveiling new aspects and gameplay mechanics of the game.
 
The new trailer and information arrive as weforge studio launches a Kickstarter campaign for Macabre, to support the independent developer self-publish the title, which they are targeting for a 2025 release. The Kickstarter campaign will commence at 10pm May 21 AEST | 8am May 21 EST. The Kickstarter is chockablock with exclusive in-game and physical rewards, as well as a limited run of Early Bird specials across several tiers, including Alpha Access, Minatures and the base game.
 
Trapped within a Rift of Endless Timelines, you and up to three friends are relentlessly pursued by a shapeshifting horror known only as MACABRE. This interdimensional terror meticulously assesses each player to determine if you’re a threat or potential prey. As it becomes familiar with your tactics, any predictability on your part will prompt Macabre to adapt, forcing you to innovate or face dire consequences.
 
Macabre demands stealth, cunning, and sharp wits. Choose to work together and face Macabre as one, or betray your teammates and claim the lion’s share of the loot. Just know Macabre preys on those who stray from the pack!
 
Successfully navigating encounters with the Macabre requires perfectly timed distractions, stuns, or even sacrifices. CD PROJEKT RED proudly announces that Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty received awards in the categories of Best Polish Game and Best Polish Narrative during Monday’s Digital Dragons gala, which celebrated the best games released in 2023.

The Digital Dragons Awards are the oldest and most prestigious awards in the Polish games industry, with the winners selected through the votes of experts appointed to the jury as well as the whole game dev community. Games today released a new MultiVersus cinematic launch trailer revealing Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th horror movie franchise and Agent Smith from The Matrix film series as playable characters coming to the free-to-play platform fighter videogame, which is scheduled to officially release on May 28.

Both new fighters will join the MultiVersus roster alongside DC Super-Villain The Joker as part of Season 1: Puns & Villainy. Jason Voorhees will be available at launch, while Agent Smith will release later in the season.

Your realm is in grave danger! As its Guardian Spirit, the Fairy Queen has tasked you with raising elf heroes to protect the land from the Frog Lord. As danger draws near and the Frog Lord’s minions begin infiltrating the countryside, your heroic elves might be the only ones who can save this land.

An Idle Adventure

Inspired by the classic Tamagotchis of the 90s, Yolk Heroes: A Long Tamago blends idle RPG mechanics with the digital pet sim genre. Raise and care for your hero from egg to adventurer, prepare them for quests, and gain the skills to defeat the dreaded Frog Lord. The local Adventurer’s Guild has all the resources you need to take care of your tiny tot. Train strength, dexterity, and intelligence in their assigned hero class, and tend to their hunger, hygiene, and fatigue when they come home to rest. As an idle game, Yolk Heroes ensures your hero is cared for while you’re away, allowing players to queue tasks for their yolk to complete during some downtime. 

Grow Your Hero

Following the proper preparations, your hero will be ready to begin their quest! Completing these adventures will earn you experience points to continue your training, new equipment to increase your stats, and currency to purchase additional items to aid you along your journey. Fuel up on different foods, purchase potions to temporarily buff your stats, and customize your armor set to reflect your class and attributes. As you explore, uncover new areas around the map, including hidden dungeons with secret treasures. Different NPCs await your help around the region, and the Frog Lord awaits you as a final challenge!

Play While You’re Away

As an idle game, players can progress in Yolk Heroes even while they’re away. Queue actions–or enable auto-queue–to keep your hero busy. Whether you leave the game running in the background as you complete various tasks or close out of the game to return later, your progress will continue until you return. Failing to care for your elf or repeatedly falling in battle means your hero will return to the guild for further training and care. The realm wasn’t built in one day, after all.
