BATTLES COLLIDE AS MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM lEGENDS JOIN THE FRONT LINES OF CALL OF DUTY THIS JUNE

Battles are colliding in the CALL OF DUTY franchise with a new collaboration between Bandai Namco Europe and Call of Duty, bringing legends from the Gundam series to the front lines. Inspired by the towering mecha that captured the imagination of Gundam fans for generations, CALL OF DUTY has new Operator Skins based on iconic Mobile Suit from the series. Soon, in-game battles will see Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Finishing Moves, and more inspired by fan-favorite Mobile Suits: The RX-78-2 Gundam complete with Beam Rifle and RX-78-2 Shield; Char’s MS-06S Zaku II and its devastating Heat Hawk, and the XVX-016 Gundam Aerial with its powerful Aerial Rebuild Beam Rifle. Learn all about the Tracer Pack Bundles in CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE III (PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC), CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE (PS5®, PS4®, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC), and CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE MOBILE (Android, iOS) by checking out the official CALL OF DUTY BLOG post.

The Mobile Suit Gundam Legends bundles will begin deploying to the front lines this June for a limited time. But since Gundam is for everyone, for the duration of the event, a variety of progression rewards will be available to anyone playing CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE III, CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE, and CALL OF DUTY: WARZONE MOBILE, including a Gundam-themed Weapon Blueprint, Weapon Camo, Vinyls, Sticker, Emblem, Weapon Charm and Calling Cards.

The three Gundam Tracer Packs available for purchase during the event celebrate Gundam in style. First up, the Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – RX-78-2 Gundam puts Amuro Ray’s classic Mobile Suit on full display, with in-game weapon blueprints for the Beam Rifle, Beam Saber and RX-78-2 Shield. Dispatch enemies with the Newtype Finisher finishing move, bring the lucky Haro weapon charm into battle, and more for even the most ardent EFSF fan. Next up, the Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – MS-06S Zaku II shows off Zeon’s ace pilot, Char Aznable. The Red Comet takes to battle with the classic Zaku Machine Gun, Heat Hawk melee weapon, and Warship Destroyer rifle. Ruthlessly eliminate foes with the savage Searing Slash finishing move, and proudly display loyalty to Zeon with weapon charms, stickers, and more. Finally, win glory for GUND-ARM with Tracer Pack: Mobile Suit – XVX-016 Gundam Aerial. The Witch from Mercury-inspired kit brings Gundam Aerial’s Beam Rifle, Aerial Rebuild Rifle, and Escutcheon to battle, along with key figures from the series including a Suletta and Miorine weapon vinyl, Gundam Calibarn weapon sticker, Holder Mark weapon charm, and “The Witch and the Bride” loading screen. Mobile Suit Gundam Tracer Packs will be available to purchase beginning in June, and full details of each of their contents can be found on the official blog.

Since its debut in 1979, the Gundam franchise has centred around gifted pilots commanding technologically advanced machines into the onslaught of conflict – mirroring the challenges players face in CALL OF DUTY. The Gundam franchise first started as an anime in 1979, and now spans a collection of toys and collectibles, animated series, feature-length films, and a wide variety of video games.
