Above Land: Rhapsody Brings Absurd Weapons to Co-Op Action Roguelite Combat

Toronto, Canada – April 30, 2026 – Independent studio Flying Amateurs today revealed the first trailer for Above Land: Rhapsody, a 1-3 player 3D co-op action roguelite adventure coming to PC via Steam. Set in a breathtaking world above the clouds, Above Land: Rhapsody sends players into comic-book chapters filled with floating islands, colossal sky creatures called Kun, giant monsters, and weapons pulled from childhood imagination.

In Above Land: Rhapsody, players enter chapters from a comic book left behind by the player’s mother, complete each map’s challenge, bring back Stars, repair the stranded Invincible Bebe, and unlock later chapters. The journey moves between a ruined present and a lost “Yesterday” when humans and ancient giant Kun lived in harmony.

Combat is built around fast 3D action, two-weapon loadouts, and wildly different tools of destruction. Players can dual-wield any two weapons and swap between them instantly, combining classic arms with stranger options such as basketballs, folding chairs, guitars, dice, yo-yos, fireworks, drones, and more. These are not simple joke reskins: a folding chair can turn a boss fight into a wrestling-ring brawl, while a basketball rewards momentum with dribble strings, dodges, and dunk finishers.

Co-op is designed to be easy to jump into. Players can fight solo or team up with up to two friends through online drop-in/drop-out co-op, cutting through waves of enemies, discovering synergies between builds, and taking down giant bosses together without needing voice comms or high-pressure coordination.

Every player also fights alongside Wobbo, an adorable but powerful companion creature with multiple combat modes, including summon and transformation-based abilities. As players progress, Wobbo becomes part of both moment-to-moment combat and long-term build identity.

Key Features:

  • 1-3 Player Co-op: Play solo or fight side by side with your friends in online drop-in/drop-out co-op as you explore floating islands in the clouds, cut through waves of enemies and conquer giant bosses. Above Land: Rhapsody is designed to feel low-pressure and welcoming, with no voice comms required.
  • Ridiculous Weapons and Fluid Combat: Dual-wield any two weapons and swap between them instantly. At launch, Above Land: Rhapsody will feature 40+ weapon types, mixing classic weapons with weapons born from childhood make-believe, like folding chairs, basketballs, guitars, dice, yo-yos, spinning tops, fireworks, drones, and more, each with distinct mechanics, pacing, and upgrade paths. A folding chair can turn a boss fight into a wrestling match, while a basketball rewards momentum with dribbling strings and dunk finishers.
  • Epic World Above the Clouds: Soar through a stylized-realistic Unreal Engine 5 world of floating islands, ancient ruins, cloud cities, and civilizations built on the backs of colossal Kun. Each comic-book chapter has its own ecosystem and gameplay identity.
  • Wobbo Companion System: Every player fights alongside Wobbo, an adorable but powerful companion with multiple combat modes, including summon and transformation-based abilities.
  • Chapter-Based Adventure and Progression: Choose chapters from Mom’s comic book, enter each map, complete its challenge, bring back Stars, repair the stranded Invincible Bebe, and unlock later chapters. Between runs, players return to the Invincible Bebe and Memory Chamber, where gathered resources feed broader progression through crafting, customization, gear, and Wobbo growth.

Above Land: Rhapsody offers an immersive adventure as you and your friends effortlessly traverse between two timelines, encounter breathtaking islands, battle a range of monsters, and hone your skills by crafting unique weapons.

Ambitious Monster Taming RPG Monster Crown: Sin Eater is Out Now on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch and PC

Paris, France – April 30, 2026 – Monster tamers, the time has come to explore Crown Nation! Red Art Games is happy to announce that Monster Crown: Sin Eater can now be purchased digitally on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ and Steam.

Developed by Studio Aurum and ported to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S by Red Art Studios, Monster Crown: Sin Eater is a beautiful 2D Monster Taming RPG. With its branching storyline, Monster Crown’s trademark True Crossbreeding System and more than a thousand unique, hand-crafted Monster sprites, Monster Crown: Sin Eater aims to push the genre to its absolute limits.

In addition to its digital release, Monster Crown: Sin Eater will also receive a physical release on PS5 in Europe on July 2. It will be available from various retailers upon release and already be pre-ordered from Red Art Games’ official online store.

About the Monster Crown: Sin Eater physical edition:

The Monster Crown: Sin Eater Standard Edition (PS5) contains:

  • Copy of the game
  • Double-Sided poster

About Monster Crown: Sin Eater:

Monster Crown: Sin Eater is a top-down, 2D Monster Taming RPG that aims to push the concept to its absolute limits. In Monster Crown: Sin Eater, the player will travel the world and encounter Monsters roaming the wilds. Each one has a personality; some will flee from the protagonist, some will give chase, some — the more sinister Monsters — will stalk the hero from the shadows.

Throughout the journey, the hero will explore towns packed with interesting characters. Another way Monster Crown: Sin Eater elevates the standard tropes is with branching dialogue and decisions that have a real impact on the game. How the story turns out is up to the player.

The Story

Monster Crown: Sin Eater’s storyline puts the player in the shoes of Asur, a young farm boy who has aspired to be a Monster Tamer his whole life, just like his big brother and the greatest Tamer in the Crown Nation, Dyeus. When his family is put in mortal danger, he must act to set things right, and in so doing will change the Crown Nation forever.

Asur’s journey will see him pitted against Lord Taishakuten and his Holy Order, who have ruled over the Crown Nation for over a thousand years. Law is maintained by the Four Heavenly Kings and their Beastman Inquisitors, horrific fusions of man and monster created by esoteric and forbidden sciences to enforce peace by any means necessary.

Asur’s quest will also see him cross paths with a few different factions, all of whom have a vested interest in seeing Taishakuten’s order fall. Will Asur enlist their help, or will he stand against fate alone? The player’s choices will define the kind of world Asur creates for the people of the Crown Nation.

No matter what, though, players will have to be sure to build themselves a team of mighty companions. As it turns out, Asur won’t have much luck going it alone!

The Monsters

As its title implies, Monster Crown: Sin Eater is all about Monsters. During their journey to change the Crown Nation forever, players will tame a diverse array of Monsters rendered in beautiful pixel art. With over a thousand unique, hand-crafted Monster sprites, and hundreds of palettes to choose from, players will no doubt find the ace Monster that’s right for them (sharp-eyed tamers might even find a 1/1000 Brilliant Monster variants).

But that’s not all! While the world itself is geared for exploration, the same can be said of Monsters. Each Monster contains countless crossbreeds just waiting for the players to be uncovered!

Additionally, certain Monsters transform when exposed to certain elements. Trying new items on Monsters can yield very surprising results… With so many monsters, obtaining them all, their crossbreeds and their transformations (and the transformation’s crossbreeds) is quite an undertaking. Will true collectors be up to the challenge?

Features

  • Top-down, 2D Monster Taming RPG
  • Beautiful pixel art
  • Rich lore
  • Branching dialogue and decisions that truly impact the game and story
  • More than 1,000 unique monster sprites
  • True Monster Crossbreeding and Monster Fusion systems
  • Multiple difficulty settings
  • Deep Monster battling system

MotoGP 26 OUT NOW

Sydney, Australia, April 30th, 2026: Milestone and MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group have announced the release of MotoGP™26, the latest instalment in the official MotoGP videogame franchise. Featuring the full official 2026 season, it combines reworked physics with Dynamic Rider ratings and deeper career management mechanics to deliver a more immersive and authentic gaming experience.

MotoGP™26 refines its physics through a rider-based handling system where control is more closely tied to how players move and position the rider on the bike. Body shifts and weight transfer now have a tangible impact on stability, cornering, and braking, resulting in a more natural and responsive riding experience. Supported by new rider animations, this model significantly changes the overall gameplay feel, offering finer control and a wider range of motion in both Pro and Arcade modes.

Throughout the season, Dynamic Rider Ratings offer players a constantly evolving snapshot of the competitive landscape based on real-world performances. For the first time, riders’ skills are reflected in a rating card shaped by four key attributes: time attack, race pace, head-to-head, and reliability, providing a clearer understanding of strengths and weaknesses across the grid.

Away from the track, Career mode evolves into a more dynamic and decision-driven experience. A newly designed 3D paddock acts as the central hub of race weekends, where players manage key aspects of their progression. Media interactions now play a more active role, as Thursday’s press conferences give players the chance to actively engage with journalists by establishing goals, assessing rivalries, and making choices that may affect their reputation and future opportunities. Supporting this journey, a Personal Manager assists in navigating contract negotiations, coordinating relationships with teams and manufacturers, and guiding players through the Transfer Market, possibly changing the course of history. Indeed, addressing a long-time community request, MotoGP™26also allows fans to take control of real riders from any class and rewrite their career from scratch, starting in Moto3™ and working their way to the top.

In addition to the official competitions, MotoGP™26 expands its Race Off game mode with Canterbury Park, a new UK location that joins Borgo Caselle and Mont Lagard, as well as the introduction of Production Bikes. These single-brand events allow players to train on 1000cc road bikes, bringing together riders from the same manufacturer across the MotoGP™, Moto2™, and Moto3™ categories while adding a new dimension to Motard, Flat Track, and Minibikes, each with its own distinct handling.

Notably, collectable card packs will reward player progression across different modes. By completing events, it will be possible to unlock over 100 cards featuring riders, circuits, and iconic bikes, including exclusive artwork created by renowned Japanese artist Ranka Fujiwara.

Multiplayer has also been expanded, with cross-play* support, improved matchmaking, and full grids of up to 22 players*, enhancing online competition. Split-screen mode returns for local racing, while advanced editors allow players to customise helmets, numbers, and liveries, and share** their creations with the community. The most original design will be awarded as part of the new MotoGP™2026 Helmet Design Contest, with the winning entry brought to life and worn by a MotoGP™ rider during an official race weekend.

MotoGP™26 is now available on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™2, Nintendo Switch™, ROG Xbox Ally***, ROG Xbox Ally X***, and PC***.

Review codes are available upon request. If interested, please reply to this email with your preferred platform.

Here Comes The Swarm Introduces Second Major Early Access Update Featuring New Arcanist Unit and Full Armour Rework

New unit, reworked core combat systems, expanded upgrades, and extensive balancing arrive in latest update

Breda, The Netherlands – April 29, 2026. Indie developer CableHook Games has released the Second major update for Here Comes The Swarm in Early Access, introducing a powerful new unit, a comprehensive overhaul of the armour system, expanded unit upgrade paths, and a range of balancing and gameplay improvements.

The update marks a significant evolution of the game’s core combat systems, adding new strategic depth and refining how armies scale and interact across the battlefield.

At the centre of the update is the introduction of the Arcanist, a new long-range unit that channels Arcana to deliver high-impact magical attacks. Unlocked from the Barracks following the Stone Tier upgrade, the Arcanist introduces a flexible toolkit designed around positioning, synergy, and tactical decision-making.

The unit features multiple “Essences” that enhance its role on the battlefield, including effects that boost nearby resource production, extend unit range and vision, apply stacking debuffs, or allow attacks to pierce through enemies. It also brings powerful active abilities such as Inject, which buffs allied units, and Mini Nuke, a high-damage Arcana-based ability designed for critical moments in combat.

Alongside the new unit, the update delivers a complete rework of the armour system, shifting damage mitigation from flat reductions to percentage-based scaling. Armour now provides clearer feedback through updated tooltips, while introducing diminishing returns to improve late-game balance. Armour penetration has also been redesigned to reduce armour before damage is applied, making it a more meaningful counter-stat in combat.

The update further expands progression systems across multiple unit types, introducing new Barracks and Blacksmith upgrades that enhance healing, speed, range, and damage output. Units such as Priests, Pyromaniacs, Knights, and Arbalists all receive additional upgrade paths or refinements to existing progression, improving overall army variety and strategic depth.

Additional improvements include balance adjustments, usability updates, and general gameplay fixes aimed at improving overall stability and combat clarity.

The developer notes that this update is the second in a series of ongoing Early Access improvements, with additional units, systems, and refinements planned based on community feedback.

Here Comes The Swarm is available now in Steam Early Access.
