The New Beta Test for the Highly-anticipated Real-time RPG is Set to Arrive in January 2025, Featuring New Content, Characters, and More

SHANGHAI – Dec. 17, 2024 – Global game publisher GRYPHLINE, today announced its beta test for Arknights: Endfield, its upcoming real-time 3D RPG with strategic gameplay elements, is now open for sign-ups. The sign-up period begins on Dec. 17 (UTC+8) and interested players can follow the game on social media to stay up to date on information regarding the beta. The beta test is set for a simultaneous global launch with accepted players embarking on their journey starting mid-January 2025. The beta will feature English, Japanese, Korean, and Mandarin voice-over and UI options. 

In anticipation of this Arknights: Endfield beta test, the team has shared a new concept trailer and gameplay footage to provide a glimpse of what awaits participants. Players will have the chance to explore the world of Talos-II as the Endministrator and experience exclusive content. Additionally, during the sign-up period, players can increase their chances of winning test access by pre-registering for the game, sharing the event webpage, or inviting friends to pre-register via the official website.

New Content:

New Playable Characters:

Characters featured in the previous test have undergone significant updates, including new models, animations, and special effects. In the upcoming beta test, players will have access to 15 playable characters, including two Endministrators (one of which is a new playable Endministrator) and 13 playable characters, with six new characters introduced in the test phase. This beta will also provide a preview of a limited portion of the game’s monetization system.

Combat and Character Progression:

Based on player feedback from the previous test, some adjustments have been made to various systems, including combat mechanics, skill effects, and character progression: 

• New “Combo Skills”: Under specific conditions, characters can trigger powerful combo attacks between them.
• New “Dodge” Mechanic: Added instant combat elements like dodging to enhance gameplay.
• Adjustments to Skill Effects and Release Logic: Skills, their effects, and how they are executed in combat have been refined.
• Changes to Item Usage: The use of consumable items like potions during battles has been updated.
• Expanded Character Progression: Character development now offers more depth and variety, allowing for a richer progression experience.

Base Building System:

• The beta test introduces new tutorials and advanced gameplay mechanics to further enrich the player experience: 
• Base Building Tutorials: Various guides have been added to help players master the base construction system.
• New Defensive Structures: Tower defense-style buildings have been introduced, supporting both offensive and defensive operations.
• Expanded Construction Areas: Unlike the previous test, where factories could only be built in the central Hub Area, other maps now feature outposts where players can establish and expand their factories.

Story, Scenes, and Levels:

• Several updates have been made to the game’s storyline and environments to offer a more immersive experience:
• Reworked Main Storyline: The main quest line has been expanded and enriched for a more captivating narrative.
• New Maps: Nine maps will be available in the beta: Prologue, Spaceship, 001, 002, 003, 005, 006, 007, and Hongshan 001.
• New Puzzle and Dungeon Content: Fresh puzzle mechanics and dungeons have been added to increase gameplay variety.

UI and System Enhancements: 

• User interface and system guidance have been improved based on player feedback from the previous test.

The FIFAe Finals 2024 concluded after two weeks of spectacular football esports action at the SEF Arena in the BLVD City in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by crowning the world champions of the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ on both console and mobile on 12 December.  

Minbappe from Malaysia (mobile) and Indonesia (console) secured their places in FIFAe history as the first-ever champions of this new esports title in the growing FIFAe ecosystem.

In total, 18 nations competed at the inaugural FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ on console in a 2v2 tournament and 16 nations in the 1v1 mobile edition of the tournament.  

Minbappe from Malaysia emerged victorious at the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ on Mobile, outplaying AN10_Tienes from Morocco in a thrilling final on 12 December. The one-on-one competition was a historic first-ever FIFAe World Cup played out on a mobile game.

At the FIFAe World Cup featuring eFootball™ on console, Indonesia, represented by akbarpaudie, BINONGBOYS, SHNKS-ELGA and GARUDAFRANC, claimed the coveted title. They overcame a stacked field, including an intense final against Brazil, showcasing tactical brilliance and teamwork that earned them the title as FIFAe World Champions.

Following Saudi Arabia’s win at the inaugural FIFAe World Cup featuring Rocket League last week, the first-ever FIFAe Finals 2024 with multiple esports game titles concluded with the two FIFAe World Cups featuring eFootball™.

Hosted in collaboration with the Saudi Esports Federation, the pinnacle event for FIFAe football esports tournaments featured eight thrilling days of competition with Rocket League and eFootball™, alongside various on-site activations for fans. The second edition of the FIFAe Finals crowned three worthy world champions and gave a wide range of communities the chance to represent their country on the biggest stage. A total of USD 450,000 has been distributed to the participants as part of the total prize pool of the event which took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

With a spectacular setting for three different competitions, the SEF Arena in the BLVD City showcased a new era for football esports to the local and global community alike. Set in the year 2138, “OVERLORD” centers on the Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game “YGGDRASIL.” It had caused a huge boom and is about to end its service. Among its many players, Momonga was once a proud leader of a guild that thrived in the game’s heyday and quietly awaits the final moments in solitude. However, when the shut-down time arrives, Momonga discovers that he is unable to log out and that NPCs suddenly begin to develop personalities and minds of their own. Beyond his guild, a never-before-seen world appears. He used to be a lonely, unremarkable gamer in the real world and now finds himself transformed into the most powerful sorcerer – a skeletal overlord. The ruler of death who owns the whole world in his hands, and this is where he shines!

As part of this update, three new Legendary heroes from “OVERLORD,” including Ainz, Albedo, and Shalltear, as well as a collab pet Hamusuke have been added to SEVEN KNIGHTS IDLE ADVENTURE. 

Players can also experience several events in celebration of the latest update. The OVERLORD Challenger Pass runs through January 1, 2025, offering players a chance to acquire the collab heroes, Albedo and Shalltear. The OVERLORD Special Check-In Event will also run during the same period where players can earn Ainz, Albedo, Shalltear, an OVERLORD Hero Summon Ticket, an OVERLORD Hero Selection Ticket and more simply by logging into the game during the collaboration period. 

Additionally, the OVERLORD Collab EVENT dungeonhas been introduced that is set on the plains of the Re-Estize Kingdom featured in the animation. Players will challenge the dungeon Boss Azuth Aindra who is the leader of Red Drop. By clearing the dungeon, players can receive event currency which can be used to obtain OVERLORD Hero Summon Ticket, the collab pet Hamusuke, and Shalltear’s costume ‘The Bloody Valkyrie.’
