Publisher Playtonic Friends and developer MegaWobble are thrilled to announce that Lil Gator Game: In the Dark, a huge game expansion for the charming and whimsical adventure game Lil Gator Game, is currently in development for PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One & Series S/X and Nintendo Switch. 

Lil Gator is back in an adorable new adventure, and this time it’s bigger than ever! The In the Dark expansion will double the size (and the fun!) of the full Lil Gator Game experience and will also introduce a host of new characters! In this charming expansion, new adventures and friends are just beneath the surface – literally! Get ready to ‘cave in’ to the fun and find that you’re ‘stalag’- right where you belong! There’s a new buddy in every cave and crevasse to help you on your journey in this exciting new, BIG, underground adventure! 

New to Lil Gator? Then we have you covered! PlayTonic Friends will also be releasing a special Gator of the Year Edition which combines the Lil Gator Game base game and the In the Dark expansion in one fun-filled package! The Gator of the Year Edition will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch alongside the In the Dark expansion launch.

Check out the exclusive GLUM demo during Steam Next Fest

Aalborg, Denmark, January 15, 2025: CinderCat Games is bringing its own brand of grumpy misfit mayhem to Steam Next Fest in February, with an exclusive new demo of their upcoming Early Access title GLUM!

Releasing in Early Access for PC later this year, GLUM stars the titular antisocial goblin, who finds himself tasked with a quest well above his minion paygrade after his boss is kidnapped. And so, with his magical boot and a serious chip on his shoulder, Glum embarks on a journey of magical ass-kickery and whimsical violence.

This upcoming Steam Next Fest will take place from February 24 – March 3, and will feature a Steam Next Fest-exclusive demo for its duration. But be warned, the demo will no longer be available following the end of Steam Next Fest, so be sure to act fast!

This exclusive demo will allow players to explore a sandbox level, in which they’ll be able to try out two unique magic abilities: Bootzooka & Foot Fetch, all while engaging in GLUM’s specific brand of high-paced, kick-ass physics combat. 

And it’s not all bloody combat either! While exploring the comedic world of GLUM, players will encounter numerous secrets hidden within – such as garden gnomes to destroy and dirty magazines to collect!

Today, Blizzard Entertainment revealed the next season for Diablo IV: Season of Witchcraft, starting on 22 January 2025. Heads have been stolen from the Tree of Whispers, and the Witches of Hawezar require aid to track them down… and the culprit, too. In exchange, they will bestow the wonders of Witchcraft upon you as you fight mighty new foes. 

• WITCHCRAFT: From the teachings of the Witches of Howezar, players can channel the power of the Swamp. Explore three different schools of Witchcraft Powers to find the ability combination that suits your playstyle, whether you seek supernatural strength, are a practitioner of connected mind and spirit, or wish to balance healing and harming skills. By finding and equipping the new Seasonal Legendary Gems, Occult Gems, you can harness devastating and iconic abilities, some of which harken back to Diablo III. 

• HEADROTTEN BOSSES: Cut from the Tree of Whispers, the Stolen Heads have mutated into ghastly abominations, desperate to become whole and human again. New Headrotten Bosses and enemies await as you follow the Whispers of the Dead. By completing the new endgame Headhunts, players can hunt down Headrotten and claim their heads in exchange for Occult Gems. If you’re lucky, you might find a “Headed” Headrotten Boss, a rare boss variant that grants even more valuable rewards. 

• ARMORY: The long-awaited new armory feature allows players to quickly save and swap complete character loadouts. Save and overwrite different builds for your heroes as you please; all Gear, Skill Points, and Paragon Points will be automatically applied when swapping. 

• SEASONAL REWARDS: Season of Witchcraft adds additional Uniques and Legendaries to the loot pool. Vessel of Hatred players can also experience three new Runes and many updates to existing Runes. Those who seek more drops can ascend tiers of the Coven’s Favor, earn rewards like a Raven Pet via the Season Journey, or progress through the Battle Pass.
