WARHAMMER 40,000: MECHANICUS II LAUNCHES ON PC & CONSOLES WITH EPIC NEW TRAILER

Take control of the deathless Necron legions or the techno-religious acolytes of the Omnissiah, with the fate of a world in your hands. Coming to Windows PC, PlayStation®5 & Xbox Series X|S

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Leicester, UK – 21st May 2026

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II, the sequel to the critically acclaimed turn-based tactical game is now available for Windows PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Launched during Warhammer Skulls, Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II expands on the atmospheric strategy gameplay and rich storytelling of the original, throwing players back into the intense technological war of cold metal hatred between the Adeptus Mechanicus and the ancient Necrons.

To celebrate the launch, an epic new trailer was also exclusively revealed during the annual showcase of all things Warhammer:

In an exciting addition for the sequel, players will not just be battling as the Adeptus Mechanicus against the awakening of a Necron tomb world, but will also be able to fight as the Necrons for the resurgence of their dynasty, with both sides now fully playable over multiple campaigns.

Strategic gameplay is now at the forefront of the action, with players able to manage their territories’ garrisons and assemble forces for each mission, choosing from a vastly expanded selection of fighters from each faction’s range. New environmental mechanics will also require players to maneuver their forces like never before and play to their chosen faction’s strengths and weaknesses – take cover behind terrain as the Mechanicus, or destroy it as the Necrons.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II is once again expertly bringing the setting to life with awe-inspiring music and audio design by critically acclaimed composer Guillaume David and the gripping continuation of the Mechanicus saga by veteran author Ben Counter, best known for his Black Library novels. The epic conflict, skillfully woven over multiple campaigns, with player choices shaping not just the course of the war, but its climactic outcome.

Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II is available now for Windows PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S priced at $39.99/€39.99/£34.99.

A special Omnissiah edition is also available which includes the base game along with the digital artbook, the complete original soundtrack, and an in-game legacy soundtrack. The curated digital artbook offers a detailed look at the game’s visual development, featuring concept art, character and environment designs. The soundtrack, composed by Guillaume David, contains 10 original tracks from the game, while the legacy soundtrack DLC integrates music from the original Mechanicus as an optional in-game audio experience.

EXPERIENCE THE SCREAMER UNIVERSE – FREE DEMO NOW AVAILABLE

Players can also take advantage of a limited-time 30% discount, while Ranked Team Races launch on June 18

Sydney, Australia, May 22, 2026 – Milestone has announced a free demo for Screamer, its newest arcade racing game. Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, the demo offers a glimpse of Screamer’s unique blend of innovative racing mechanics and fighting actions, set within a rich narrative unfolding in a dystopian world inspired by anime aesthetics and futuristic vibes.

Featuring contributions from international partners including Polygon Pictures and Troy Baker, the game is available with a 30% discount as part of a limited-time offer rolling out across both digital platforms and retail stores.

The demo immerses players in the first six chapters of the biggest illegal street-racing tournament ever. Organised by the enigmatic Mr. A, it brings together five teams of fearless racers eager to settle long-standing rivalries rooted in their past. Players will immediately have access to the Downtown Run track and the Green Reapers team, former Private Military Contractors seeking to redefine their identity after recent events have shaken the team’s balance. By progressing through The Tournament, players will also unlock Lavinia from the Jupiter Stormers, along with two additional tracks: The Port and Stadium Olympus. Like Downtown Run, these are set in the near-future city of Neo Rey, one of four environments featured in the full game.

Beyond the main campaign, the demo also includes two of the six game modes that complete the Screamer lineup, also available in split-screen. In Race mode, players can take full control and fine-tune every aspect of the gameplay, enjoying complete freedom and deep gameplay customisation. In Team Races, they join forces with other characters in special races where final rankings are determined by both final position and KOs executed. The latter will be the core of the upcoming Ranked Team Races, launching on June 18 and introducing a competitive layer to the Screamer online experience.

Standard and Commander Editions

Two war-packs have been sanctioned for deployment; now available for pre-order.

Year One Expansion Overview

One planet. Endless war. On Kronus, the war does not end with a single campaign. Over time, the conflict deepens. Following launch, a year of free content updates and paid DLC will expand the battlefield.

Free Deployments

Arriving in Fall 2026, the fan-favourite Crusade Mode returns. Every decision and victory shapes the course of war, bringing even greater strategic depth and replayability to the campaign. Build your army, lead legendary commanders, and fight to dominate the map.

A series of free updates will introduce new modes, map packs, and the Mission Editor — allowing players to create, play, and share their own battles.

Additional Commanders will also join Last Stand mode, each featuring new abilities, loadouts, and playstyles. These Commanders will bring their own bespoke Crusades, complete with unique objectives and gameplay twists.

Paid Operations

Two major campaign expansions will deepen the conflict on Kronus in Year One.

  • The Blood Ravens Story Prologue: Before war engulfs Kronus, a Blood Ravens strike force returns to their ancestral homeworld of Aurelia. Guided by a legendary commander, their mission sets in motion events that will shape the fate of the Chapter. Fight through pivotal battles ignited by ancient relics.
  • The Aftermath Campaign Expansion: Players will command a powerful new faction as the war enters its next chapter. Aftermath continues the main campaign’s story in a narrative-driven expansion that explores the consequences of your victories — and the new threats set to reshape the battlefield.
    • Adds a fifth faction to the game across all game modes
    • New playable Commanders
    • Expands the Crusade mode significantly
    • Thought the war was over? It has only begun

Both expansions will be available separately. However, commanders who deploy with the Commander Edition will receive both paid operations as part of their war bundle.

The war for Kronus begins on September 17.

IO INTERACTIVE AND AMAZON MGM STUDIOS UNVEIL THE LAUNCH TRAILER FOR 007 FIRST LIGHT

New trailer spotlights Bond’s reimagined origin story, the game’s ensemble cast, and cinematic stealth-action gameplay built for player-driven creativity, launching next week on May 27th

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK – May 21, 2026 – IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind the HITMAN franchise, and Amazon MGM Studios today debuted the launch trailer for 007 First Light, IO Interactive’s standalone, reimagined James Bond origin story. 007 First Light is set to release on May 27, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and in Summer 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2. Pre-orders are available now*, and players who pre-order 007 First Light will get upgraded to the 007 First Light – Deluxe Edition for free, granting a 24-hour Early Access**, as well as exclusive in-game skins and outfits.

In 007 First Light, James Bond (portrayed by Patrick Gibson) steps into the world of espionage after catching MI6’s attention, beating the odds in a precarious situation in Iceland. Bond finds an unexpected advocate in M (Priyanga Burford), who sees his ability to stay in control under pressure and backs his judgment in the field. That confidence is tested by John Greenway (Lennie James), a former 00 agent and the program’s hardline training instructor, whose disciplined, by-the-book philosophy clashes with Bond’s instinctive, improvisational style. When the rogue return of 009 becomes the 00-Programme’s first real test, Bond is set on a journey across the world, pursuing leads from the quiet Carpathian Mountains to the dangerous black market of Aleph, and into the lair of the unpredictable Bawma (Lenny Kravitz).

007 First Light puts creativity front and center through IO Interactive’s Creative Approach gameplay, following Bond across exotic but dangerous locations as he enters the world of espionage. Players can tackle objectives through stealth, direct action, or a mix of both, powered by four gameplay systems:

  • Spycraft that rewards observation: eavesdropping on key conversations, pickpocketing vital items, and uncovering environmental clues to open new pathways.
  • Bond’s Instinct gives players a versatile edge to lure enemies, bluff their way out of suspicion, or sharpen focus for precision in combat.
  • Q Branch gadgets expand tactical options for hacking, lock cutting, distractions, elimination, and quiet takedowns.
  • When stealth breaks, combat is fast and fluid, blending impactful close-quarters takedowns with ranged gunplay and an escalation that reflects Bond’s measured use of force, up to his Licence to Kill.

Replayability continues beyond the story, with Tactical Simulation (TacSim), a replay-focused mode set in an MI6 secret facility. TacSim will open with the first two missions at first, then will be fully accessible once players complete the game, to replay challenges in other levels. TacSim challenges players with modifiers in scored missions and progression-driven unlocks, encouraging experimentation, mastery, and new ways to approach each scenario.

With only 6 days to go until 007 First Light launches, players will be invited to experience Bond’s reimagined origin story and earn the number on May 27th.

007 First Light is releasing on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, on Amazon.com, as well as for PC on Steam and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch 2 version will follow later this Summer 2026. 007 First Light is available in Standard, Deluxe, Collector’s, and Legacy Editions. More details can be found at https://ioi.dk/007firstlightgame.

THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS: ORIGIN ENHANCES ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES FOLLOWING PLAYER FEEDBACK

New Hero [Enigmatic Helper] Clotho, Limited-Time Events and Various Content Also Added

LOS ANGELES MAY 21, 2026 – Netmarble, a leading developer and publisher of high-quality games, has released a new update for its anime open world RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, introducing enhanced accessibility features for players who are blind or have low vision, alongside limited-time events and new content.

The accessibility improvements were inspired by feedback from a player in Japan, who sent a heartfelt letter written in braille and text. In the letter, the player shared that he was able to enjoy the world of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin through sound, including fully voiced characters, background music, and environmental audio, while also suggesting that audio guidance for object locations and directions would further enhance open-world exploration.

The development team responded by introducing a dedicated sound accessibility option. When enabled, the feature provides enhanced audio cues for low HP status, treasure chest discovery, and more that helps players better understand their surroundings during exploration and combat. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin also plans to further improve accessibility with directional guidance for key objects such as main quests, sub quests, gathering points, and treasure chests.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has also received various messages of support from players around the world. A player in the United States sent a letter that shares their deep appreciation for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and praises how the game allows the “player” to become the protagonist and directly experience the stories and challenges of its characters.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin introduced the new hero [Enigmatic Helper] Clotho on May 13. Clotho is an original hero unique to the game and features Wind and Cold attributes.

From May 21 through June 4, the game will run the new event dungeon “Temple of Love.” This story-based event begins through NPC Turan and unfolds through sequential quests over seven days. Players can earn limited-time titles, accessories, Regular Hero Draw Tickets, and other rewards through the event.

Additional events include a solo record-based challenge for dungeons, field bosses, and Timespace Junction. Players can earn event currency and exchange it for rewards such as Brilliant Engraving Seal and SSR Magic Crystal Shard. A cumulative mission event based on Cube Key usage will be available as well that offer various rewards based on the number of Cube Keys used.

The update opens the Ranking Board Pre-Season, covering Field Bosses, Boss Challenges, Dungeons, and Timespace Junction, while Timespace Junction Season I continues with new seasonal rewards, first-clear rewards, star-grade rewards, and SSR growth and engraving-related items.

In the beta, they will travel to Scintilla’s spires, mingling with the planet’s prestigious elites. Players will also meet potential new companions, encounter powerful members of the nobility — the clergy and military — and need to uncover what is really going on in the governor’s palace. The beta contains around 20 hours of playtime and will stay open until the game’s release.
