Razer Unveils The Tartarus V2 Pro

An analog optical gaming keypad with 31 programmable controls, adjustable actuation, and a fully adjustable ergonomic wrist rest, built for total command over MMOs, FPS, and beyond.

IRVINE, CALIF. – SEPTEMBER 17, 2026 – Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the Razer Tartarus V2 Pro, the next evolution of its Tartarus gaming keypad line. Built to carry forward the accuracy and speed players expect from the Tartarus name, the Tartarus V2 Pro brings Razer’s flagship switch technology and true 8000 Hz HyperPolling into a dedicated keypad for the first time, alongside a wrist rest designed to move with the player rather than around them.

Equipped with 31 programmable controls, a full-sized anti-drift thumbstick, and a fully-adjustable ergonomic wrist rest, the Tartarus V2 Pro is designed to give competitive MMO and FPS players alike near-infinite customisation without sacrificing comfort over long sessions.

“Games have evolved dramatically, and players now expect more control, precision, and flexibility from the hardware they use,” said Barrie Ooi, Head of PC Gaming Division at Razer. “Our Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2 brings greater precision and a wider actuation range that lets players dial in exactly how they want each key to respond, while the TMR thumbstick delivers smooth analog movement with zero stick drift. The Tartarus V2 Pro is unapologetically maximalist: more inputs, finer controls, and more ways to make it your own.”

Precision at Your Fingertips
At the core of the Tartarus V2 Pro is the Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2, Razer’s flagship switch technology, now built into the Tartarus V2 Pro. It offers a fully adjustable 0.1–4.0mm actuation range and Rapid Trigger sensitivity down to 0.1mm for ultra-fast repeated inputs. Each switch is individually lubricated and seated in a dense foam layer, rated for a 100-million keystroke lifespan and tuned for a clean, satisfying acoustic that keeps players in their flow state.

Command Every Angle
Command over the Tartarus V2 Pro starts with 31 programmable controls, giving players enough mappable inputs to cover an entire ability bar, macro set, or genre-specific loadout from a single keypad. Anchoring them is a full-sized, anti-drift TMR thumbstick drawn from Razer’s award-winning controllers, letting players smoothly navigate radial menus or land precise in-game inputs, backed by three dedicated buttons to fit any playstyle.

No two hands rest on a keypad the same way, so the Tartarus V2 Pro’s wrist rest is built to match the player, not the other way around. It slides out and rotates left and right, letting each player find their own natural angle rather than settling for a single fixed position. The result is a support surface that adapts to the hand resting on it, keeping wrists aligned and fatigue-free through long sessions instead of asking players to adjust their grip to fit the hardware.

Built to Keep Up
The Tartarus V2 Pro carries up to 8000 Hz HyperPolling, a polling rate eight times faster than the industry standard, backed by Razer’s Advanced Input Control suite, including Razer™ Snap Tap, Razer™ Snap Flex and Dynamic Keystroke, for faster, more precise execution under pressure. Players can configure up to 24 keymaps across 3 onboard profiles through Razer Synapse for different games and genres, and make on-the-fly actuation or Rapid Trigger adjustments directly on the device via an onboard LED array, with no software required. Textured doubleshot PBT keycaps round out the build for lasting durability and feel.

Together, these features define the Tartarus V2 Pro experience:

Precision at Your Fingertips

  • Razer Analog Optical Switch Gen-2 with Rapid Trigger and 0.1–4.0mm adjustable actuation.

Command Every Angle

  • 31 programmable controls, a full-sized anti-drift TMR thumbstick with three dedicated buttons, and a fully-adjustable ergonomic wrist rest that slides and rotates to match the player’s natural hand position.

Built to Keep Up

  • True 8000 Hz HyperPolling, Razer’s Advanced Input Control suite, and up to 24 configurable keymaps across 3 onboard profiles via Razer Synapse.

With the Tartarus V2 Pro, Razer sets a new benchmark for what a gaming keypad can be, uniting analog optical precision, adaptable control, and ergonomic comfort in a single command centre for MMOs, FPS, and beyond. It marks the next step in the evolution of the Tartarus line, and a platform Razer will keep pushing as competitive play demands more from every input.

GRAB YOUR FEDORA, INVESTIGATOR! NOIR MURDER MYSTERY ‘THE POSTHUMOUS INVESTIGATION’ IS OUT NOW ON SWITCH & MOBILE

0

Take this story on-the-go and dive into an immersive atmospheric experience!

SÃO PAULO, Brazil, 17 September 2026 | Publisher Critical Leap and indie developer Mother Gaia Studio are excited to announce that their critically acclaimed time-loop murder mystery, The Posthumous Investigation, is out today on Nintendo Switch and Android! Step into the role of a private investigator faced with an unusual case. It’s up to you to solve the mystery before the clock resets.

Your Client Is…The Victim
Play as an investigator hired by a rather unusual client: an influential entrepreneur who’s already dead. The task? You have a single day to solve the mystery of his murder. The story unfolds in a noir version of 1937 Rio de Janeiro, where each suspect has their own routine, secrets, and motives. Players observe these characters, question their actions, and use each loop to learn more about the case. When the day resets, take your knowledge with you through the time loop to stay one step ahead of the killer. In The Posthumous Investigation, death is the client, and time is your only weapon.

Gather The Evidence
Venture through dirty alleys and postcard-perfect scenery, searching for notes, documents, or anything that serves as a clue. Once you’ve unearthed all the evidence, it’s up to you to piece it together and reconstruct the timeline; only then will you be able to properly accuse the culprit. Use the knowledge you gain from your different time loops to unlock new paths, confront characters, and break open their alibis. Utilize your “Thinking Board” to keep everything you’ve learned organized before making your final accusation.

A Hand-Drawn Noir World
Your investigation sends you through a hand-drawn 1937 Rio de Janeiro that drips with style, sarcasm, and atmosphere. In this reimagining of the work of Brazilian author Machado de Assis, there is no single correct answer for this world-weary detective. Every accusation has its logic, and the truth is yours to define.

Out Now on Nintendo Switch and Mobile Devices
The Posthumous Investigation is available today on Nintendo Switch and Android devices. Mother Gaia is thrilled to bring the game to more audiences, introducing new players to this homage to Brazilian storytelling. According to Bruno Toledo, Game Director of Mother Gaia:

Bringing The Posthumous Investigation to other platforms is something we have dreamed about as a team for a long time. We’re so happy that more people can now enter this world inspired by Machado de Assis. We hope the game can be part of the little moments in their day and make the investigation feel even closer.

Gameplay Features

  • Master the Time Loop: You only have one day to solve the crime, but unlimited attempts to try new approaches and test different theories.
  • Question Everyone: Fourteen characters with distinct routines, stories, and motivations can be observed and interrogated to uncover who truly wanted the client dead.
  • The Thinking Board: Track the progression of the case by checking your board.
  • Interrogation & Dialogue: As you move through the time loops, unlock new paths, confront characters, and find the cracks in their alibis.
  • Manipulate Routines: By observing and altering the suspects’ daily schedules, you can create new opportunities to gather information.
  • Hand-Drawn Noir-Drenched World: Enjoy a stylized, hand-drawn art style that captures the aesthetic of 1930s Brazil.

The Posthumous Investigation is out now on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Android.

The Posthumous Investigation will launch on the Nintendo eShop at midnight, with the release rolling out across Europe and Australia between 2–3 p.m. local time. The Posthumous Investigation is coming soon to iOS.

Former Grand Theft Auto Developers Release Their New Comical Hidden Object Game With a Twist

London, 17th September 2026 – Experience an entirely new twist on the hidden object genre, developed by a team of former Grand Theft Auto talent including Creative Manager Gary Penn!

PQube and developer Denki today released their wholesome 3D hidden object game, Sniper Dan, digitally on PC (via Steam®), PlayStation® 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ 2 and Nintendo Switch™, alongside a physical PlayStation® 5 version, Sniper Dan: Hotshot Edition. The Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the game, available as a standalone purchase or as a free upgrade for owners of the Nintendo Switch™ version, also introduces a new way to play, with Joy-Con 2 Mouse support providing more immersive controls.

To celebrate, a brand-new Launch Trailer was released giving players a glimpse of what they can expect during their time in Clumsy County!

In Sniper Dan, players aren’t hunting enemies, they’re hunting problems. Armed with a trusty sniper rifle, they will travel across six lively locations, from peaceful parks to bustling airports, taking on jobs to help the residents of Clumsy County. On each job, players must decipher clues, scope out the scene, spot the problem and shoot the solution with pinpoint accuracy. From fixing rusty taps, shearing sheep, or even stopping a thieving pelican, every job is a tiny mystery packed with delightful comical moments.

“We had such a good time making Sniper Dan, giggling to ourselves like kids as we imagined how the people we knew would react to the ridiculousness. We like to think that shines through,” said Gary Penn, Creative Director at Denki.

“We’re super happy to bring some much-needed silliness into an overserious world. Sniper Dan is deliberately superdumb fun for all the family – especially backseat players who can sometimes see what the driver does not. Hopefully Sniper Dan can give relief to anyone who woke up today with a burning itch to misuse a lethal weapon to do something benevolent for a change.”

Between jobs, players can use their earnings to purchase new décor for their office, upgrade their sniper rifle, take on additional game modes, and enjoy a variety of mini games. Whether completing jobs, uncovering secrets or aiming for a high score, there’s always something new to discover in Clumsy County.

PQube also revealed that players that purchase Sniper Dan on Steam within the first two weeks from launch will receive a 20% discount.

DAVE THE DIVER Makes a Splash on Mobile, Available Now Worldwide

Mintrocket’s hit adventure, RPG and restaurant-management hybrid dives onto iOS and Android with DLC and mobile-exclusive optimizations

SEOUL – September 17, 2026 – The Blue Hole now fits in your pocket. Mintrocket today announced that DAVE THE DIVER is available now worldwide on iOS and Android, bringing Dave’s award-winning mix of deep-sea exploration, fishing, eccentric characters, and late-night sushi service to mobile players.

Straight from the depths of the Blue Hole to the palm of your hand, the mobile version lets players experience Dave’s full adventure alongside his colorful cast of friends, business partners and unexpected allies. Popular additional content is also available at launch, including the DREDGE content pack and the recently released In the Jungle content pack. DAVE THE DIVER Digital Extra is provided for players who purchase the base game and can be accessed within the game.

The mobile version also includes several features and optimizations designed specifically for handheld play. At Bancho Sushi, players can use gyro tilt controls to pour tea by physically tilting their device, while a three-level view distance option gives players more flexibility over how they explore. In the Sea People’s Village, Dave can also fast travel directly to different NPCs to help keep his underwater errands swimming along.

“Bringing DAVE THE DIVER to mobile has been something we’ve been looking forward to for a long time, because the structure of the game feels very natural for playing wherever you happen to be,” said Jaeho Hwang, Head of Studio and Game Director, Mintrocket. “At the same time, we didn’t want to simply put the existing game on a smaller screen, so the mobile version includes little changes that could make the experience more comfortable and fun on a phone. We’ve already been very grateful for the response during the soft launch in China, and I’m excited that players around the world can finally take Dave, Bancho and the rest of the crew with them. I hope everyone enjoys the dive.”

The worldwide mobile launch arrives as DAVE THE DIVER recently surpassed 10 million sales across all platforms, continuing a remarkable run since its initial Early Access debut in October 2022. The mobile version itself had already sold 1 million units as of this June during its soft launch in China ahead of today’s global release. The game’s latest and largest expansion, DAVE THE DIVER – In the Jungle, has also surpassed 1 million units sold since launching on June 18, 2026.

DAVE THE DIVER is available on iOS and Android today, with a launch discount available for the first two weeks of its release.

Since its debut, DAVE THE DIVER has continued to grow through regular free and premium downloadable content, including collaborations with Godzilla, Like a Dragon and DREDGE, while retaining the unusual blend of gameplay that first sent Dave beneath the waves.

OUT NOW: MMORPG ‘Soulbound: Online’ Unleashes Spectra, The Game’s First Eight-Player Raid

0

Following eight weeks of patches, Soulbound redefines raiding in the latest update, allowing eight players to coordinate an assault against the first of the Anima.

London, UK, 17 September 2026 | Today, indie studio Spiderware opens the Spectra raid in Soulbound: Online. This update marks the first eight-player encounter in the pixel-art MMORPG. The raid arrives at the end of an eight-week run of updates following the game’s Early Access release on July 21st.

The First Of The Anima
The Anima are malevolent entities that rule over the digital world in Soulbound: Online. They are working their way out of the digital space to emerge on the other side of the screen, and Spectra the Necromancer is the first to be stopped. Her fight is built around mechanics no single player can manage alone. Eight players must work together to defeat two raid difficulties and unlock new gear, horizontal ability relics, and legendary drops.

Spectra’s raid pushes players into clear roles: A tank has to hold her, a healer to keep the raid standing, and a DPS has to land attacks. Players must use manual casting to time their abilities in this bullet heaven raid mode if they wish to overcome the complex mechanics.

Eight Players, No Solo Clear
Players spend raid keys to enter the challenge, obtained by completing earlier dungeons. These keys to open one of two doors that stand at the raid entrance: Normal and Hard mode. With fifteen minutes on the clock, throw as many attempts at defeating Spectra as your team can manage. Wipe and you go again, as long as the timer has something left. Get her into the last of her health as the clock dies and you are allowed to finish what you started.

Eight Weeks, Eight Patches
Spectra arrives following heavy technical work to the Early Access title. Thanks to a supportive Discord community, the team launched weekly patches to address the most common feedback issues. Development team Spiderware rebuilt sprite loading, added a persistent on-disk sprite cache, split large world updates into smaller packets and capped per-frame work to eliminate spikes in busy areas. Players and quest NPCs now appear within a second. Mount and camera movement are smoother with added V-Sync.

Spectra Update Features

  • Eight-Player Raid: Fight Spectra the Necromancer, the first of the Anima, with a full team of eight.
  • No Solo Clear: Purely team-based at every difficulty. Mechanics that need more than one player to answer, with tank, healer and DPS as assigned jobs.
  • Cast By Hand: Abilities will need to be cast manually if you are to succeed, so the fight is won on timing, not gear.
  • Two Doors, Two Fights: ‘Normal’ marks two players with Soul Bolts and clears without a voice channel. ‘Hard’ marks everyone, moves faster, and demands real coordination.
  • 13 Pieces, Five Variants Each – Roughly 65 pieces of Necromancer raid gear to chase.
  • Legendary Hard Mode Cape – A legendary cape that drops exclusively in Hard mode.
  • 16 Rebuilt Legendaries – Oathmourne, Ruinchain, Spectra’s Amulet, Ring of Death, Wraith Binding, Revenant Priest and Necrotic Warrior sets availalbe to claim with rewritten effects.
  • Levels Of The Boss – Levels in increments of 20% (80%, 60%, 40% & 20%).
  • 330+ Changes in Eight Weeks – Eight weekly patches plus hotfixes since launch. These patches address quests, dungeons, bank and bags, achievements, crafting and balance.

The Spectra raid is available now in Soulbound: Online’s Early Access. Players can jump in today, take a team of eight through the door, and find out what is left of Virelda.

About SpiderWare
Spiderware is the UK-based indie team behind the popular web game, Soulbound: Online. The team won Discord’s ‘Adventure Together’ App Pitch in 2024 and continues to expand the PC version through Early Access.

The Engineer school in particular receives a substantial expansion; players can now deploy powerful machines, manipulate the battlefield in creative ways and unlock the full potential of the school’s signature blend of gadgets and controlled chaos. Whether experimenting with elemental magic, support abilities, or martial techniques, players will find plenty of new tools to refine their party composition and discover fresh builds.

“We’re incredibly thrilled to finally share Arborea with our community in Early Access. Update 0.8 is a major milestone for Guild Saga: Vanished Worlds, introducing sailing, new areas to explore, over 50 new skills and an entirely new arena,” said Mike, CEO at Ocelot Technologies. “This is just the beginning, but player feedback will be invaluable as we develop toward 1.0. We can’t wait to see what players discover and how they help shape the game’s future.”

Update 0.8 Highlights:

  • Sail to Arborea – Travel beyond Respite Island for the first time and discover an ancient realm where arcane magic shapes the world. Meet new characters, uncover hidden lore and lay the foundation for Version 1.0’s expanded exploration.
  • The Fighting Pits of Gladeheim – Challenge yourself in a new underground arena with escalating battles and unique rewards available only through combat.
  • 60+ New Skills – Expanded character progression across all 10 schools, with a focus on the Engineer school’s new arsenal of machines and battlefield manipulation.
