Get creative with your kills in Dishonored’s latest trailer

Sure you could go the simple route and simply backstab or shoot all of the enemies you come across in Arkane Studios’ Dishonored but where would the fun in that be? Today Bethesda released a new trailer for the game showing all of the fancy ways you can take out your enemies.

As you can see below, a large amount of these kills involve combining powers to create some rather awesome kills, like killing a man with his own bullet by slowing time and possession, or strapping an explosive to a summoned rat and sending it into a group of enemies. What makes this even better is the fact this is probably just the tip of the iceberg compared to all the crazy things people will come up with once the game is released on October 9th.

Take a look at what Abe’s Oddysee HD looks like

There hasn’t been a whole lot of news about Abe’s Oddysee HD since it was actually announced to be in production, however today Oddworld Inhabitants has released the first ever screenshot of the visually upgraded title. The HD version of the game will boost all-new graphics instead of simple upscaling and as you can see above, Abe does look a bit more realistic than he used to.

Epic Games Baltimore Becomes Impossible Games

Today Epic Games announced that they have decided to rename one of their studios, formerly known as Epic Games Baltimore, as “Impossible Studios.” The company consists mostly of the previous Big Games staff and it will be led by ex-BG manager Sean Dunn who tweeted earlier today, “Super emotional day today. I cannot say enough about the awesomeness that is @EpicGames.”

The new studio’s first task is to develop Infinity Blade: Dungeons, which is the next title in the hit iOS franchise. They will have some help from another Epic Games studio and will be releasing this later in the year.

Epic Games official statement was made by Epic’s president in which he said, “We were so glad we could help keep this great team together, and we’re lucky to have them! At the time, I said that finding a full team of superstars was ‘impossible’ and apparently the name stuck! Pairing the imagination and experience of Impossible with Epic’s technology, IP and resources makes for a business greater than the sum of its parts.”

The newly upgraded museum will include new and diverse species of fish and old fossils for you to discover. The new garden store will offer a wide variety of seeds for you to plant around your town to help enhance its beauty. Nook now is in charge of real estate and will be your go-to-person when you want to upgrade your tent to a mansion.

Animal Crossing: Jump Out is being released on the 3DS and will hit stores in the fall for Japan but no release window has been announced for the rest of the world.

DUST 514 gets Connected with EVE Online

For those of you who have been keeping up with the game EVE Online, they have finally announced that its sister game, DUST 514, will be receiving the ability to connect to EVE when they release the closed beta test on August 21. The team will put DUST 514 on EVE’s test server, Singularity, to see how the games interact in a live environment for the first time. What is the best part? All EVE Online subscribers now get to access DUST’S beta.

They will be able to call down these orbital strikes from space and use them to destroy their enemies that lay before them. These strikes will be computer controlled but they have said that they will allow the player to control the strikes some time in the future.

The build of the game that is being released on August 21 will include new matchmaking features, plenty of additional environments, keyboard and mouse implementation for PlayStation 3 users, and lots of polish. The team says that its Vita companion app, DUST 514: Neocom, is going live at the same time.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced the existence of Game Party Champions which will be a Wii U exclusive. Not the first in the Game Part franchise, it will put its own Wii U orientated spin on the mini-game compilation this Christmas.

Kingdoms & Lords Rallies on iOS

In a time when Game of Thrones is one of the most popular TV shows and book series, having a kingdom is all the rage, who cares if it’s virtual? Gameloft’s new app is Kindgoms and Lords, in which your rural village is invaded by Barbarian forces. With war looming in the near future you have to build up your village and train your militia. And hey, not only do you have some barbarians having it out for you, but also the Dark King who is invading every territory across your continent.

Kingdoms & Lords is a dual genre game with both medieval simulation where you expand lands, cultivate crops and raise animals, and also a strategy game where you raise an army and attack your neighbours. The balance of the two allows players to experience a nice balance and not get bored with either one.

You can also challenge your friends by launching your troops against them and seeing who has the better army. Or, if that’s not your style, then you can forge alliances, rescue their units and send them gifts.
