While gamers in the West are trying to throw their money at Marvelous AQL to no avail, the company has been turning its eyes to the Japanese consumer with the hopes that they will enjoy their most recently released title, Senran Kagura Burst.

In an interview with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream, Marvelous AQL’s producer Kenichiro Takaki stated that if Burst happens to sell well and gamers enjoy the title, he would be more than happy to create Senran Kagura 2 for the 3DS.

In fact he even said that a full blown sequel (not Burst) would feature brand new gameplay to create even more stimulating battle mechanics. Does this mean an even more action packed title with even more clothes ripping off? Only Takaki knows…

Gears of War: Judgement Introduces Free-For-All Mode

Epic Games has officially announced a Free-For-All mode for their upcoming Gears of War: Judgement. The Gears of War series is renown for its strategic team based combat, Judgement re-introducing the old school deathmatch mode.

Epic debuted the new multiplayer mode at PAX, calling it the most intense and challenging mode yet. Along with the new game mode, two new maps Gondola and Library were unveiled.

Gondola: The Coastal Villa Apartments are part of the exclusive Halvo community located in the prestigious Agora foothills. Residents enjoy a host of interior upgrades, and each unit features an ocean view from a private patio or balcony. This quiet, gated community is located only a short gondola ride from the renowned shops and businesses of our active and thriving coastal community.

Library: The Alexiy Desipich Memorial Library is not a library in the traditional sense, but rather an archive of important documents surrounding his life, career, and personal interests. An avid historian, politician, and philosopher, Desipich is most remembered as the father and creator of the Austere Canon, the basis for the Coalition of Ordered Governments, which was shaped around eight guiding principles: Order, Diligence, Purity, Labor, Honour, Loyalty, Faith, and Humility.

Gears of War: Judgement  is set to be released for Xbox 360 in March 2013.

Cyklus Update Released for Mobile

Eastasiasoft has released an update for their game Cyklus, bringing it all the way up to version 1.20.  With the newest version of the game comes multilingual text support, as well as general improvements and fixes.  But, what exactly is Cyklus, some of you may be wondering.

Cyklus takes collision avoiding gameplay and gives it a new twist, literally.  Controlling a space ship as it uncontrollably spins, players have to navigate 100 levels, taking account for the rotation as they avoid hitting walls and obstacles.  This might be a little hard to understand just explaining it, but luckily a gallery is available below to show off a few shots from gameplay.  Even more useful a trailer is available below that, so players can see gameplay in action.

Currently, the Cyklus version 1.20 is only available on Google Play HERE, but the new update will be coming to the Apple App Store HERE and the Amazon Appstore HERE soon.
