Earlier today we reported about a collector’s edition that will available in the US for Injustice: Gods Among Us. Now, we are told that Australian shores will get a completely different type of collector’s edition down.

The Australian version includes an exclusive 25cm Injustice statues featuring Batman and Wonder Woman, two issues of a brand new DC Comics series, exclusive Steelbook casing and three exclusive DLC skins from The New 52 comics based on Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.

This version of the collector’s package will only be available down under, and will be available beginning April 2013 alongside the standard edition for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii U.

Modern Combat 4 Announcement

Gameloft announced the fourth installment of their Modern Combat series. Modern Combat 4 kicks off with a bang, announcing the news of the kidnapping of President Burke by an American ex Green Beret turned traitor named Edward Page.

Gameloft has taken the lead to bring action packed console grade first person shooters to the iOS and Android platforms. All three Modern Combat games has rocked the iTunes sales charts and have had critics raving about them.

Modern Combat 4 is slated for a fall 2012 release on iOS and Android. No word yet on exactly which devices will be capable of running Modern Combat 4. More information on the game is to be released in the coming weeks. In the mean time, check out the explosive trailer below.

Injustice Collector’s Edition announced; amazing statue included

It has been announced that a collector’s edition of Injustice: Gods Among Us will be released alongside the standard edition in April. This version will cost $99.99 but will feature a rather impressive looking statue as you can see above. The statue is 13″ tall and features Batman, Wonder Woman as well as the Fortress of Solitude and the Last Son of Krypton’s escape ship.

While this would look absolutely excellent on anyone’s shelf, there are a few other additions as well such as a special collector’s edition of a brand new DC comic series, a digital download of the DC animated film Justice League: Doom, as well as some special skins for Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman from The New 52. These skins haven’t been revealed yet but until they are, gawk at the statue above and pull out your wallet.

Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy announced exclusively for the PS3

Ubisoft has chosen today to announce that they will be releasing a special bundle of Assassin Creed games only on the PlayStation 3. The game will focus solely on Ezio and the three games he has been in so far, making it the Assassin’s Creed Ezio Trilogy. The game will hit stores on November 14 and will cost $40.00 to purchase.

The game will feature Assassin’s Creed 2, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and finally Assassin’s Creed Revelations. The Bonfire of the Vanities and Battle of Forli DLC for Assassin’s Creed 2 will also be included in the package. With the trilogy set to be released two weeks after Assassin’s Creed 3, it seems this is a good way to try and capitalize on those who may have decided to pick up 3 before trying any of the past games before. Though it is certainly strange to make an exclusive bundle for a multiplatform game…

Black Ops II’s Zombies Mode Revealed!

Well, after a tease and a lot of waiting, Treyarch and Activision have finally released the full reveal trailer for the much anticipated zombies mode for Black Ops II. Yes, there are a ton of explosions and zombies running about this war torn battlefield, and as you can see in the clip, it looks like the wait was worth it due to the mass amount of maps and content included this time around.

Indeed there will be nowhere to hide this time around, and you can check out the shiny new trailer down below, and get ready as Call of Duty Black Ops II launches on November 13th.

Mass Effect Trilogy Hits Stores this November

If you have been dying to play Mass Effect 1 but have a PS3, you are in luck as Bioware have announced an official trilogy for the three titles, which will be out for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on November 8th (AU) and November 6th for the states.

Of course the original three Mass Effect titles are included, which should equal up to over a hundred hours of gameplay in all. Not a bad compilation at all, and even at full retail value, fans are sure to want to snag up this trio on a disk come November. No word on a Wii U release yet, but with Mass Effect 3 launching with the console, I don’t see that news being announced anytime soon.

Phantom Breaker cancelled according to Gamestop

There is some unfortunate news for those who have been following 7sixty’s surprise localization of Phantom Breaker. A number of people who have pre-ordered the game from Gamestop are reporting that they have received calls from their store saying that the “the vendor has cancelled Phantom Breaker.”

After inquiring at the local Gamestop we were informed that the store was told by corporate that they were to call anyone who pre-ordered the game and deliver them the news. 7sixty has had a number of issues with Phantom Breaker over the past six months, as the game has been delayed multiple times and no current release date has been set for many months after it missed it’s June release date.

We have reached out to 7sixty for comment about these calls, but for now you can check out our preview of the game and hope that this may just be a false alarm.

Joe Danger 2 hits the PSN with 10 hours of additional content

A couple of weeks ago Joe Danger 2: The Movie hit the XBLA and received some rather high scores amongst reviewers, including our own review which gave the title a near perfect score. Well at the time, the game was an Xbox Live Arcade exclusive but it is also coming to the PlayStation 3 with what Hello Games is saying is “10 hours of extra content.”

This is rather significant considering the fact that Hello Games has also stated that they have tweaked the vehicles for use in the PS3 version of the game. No details have been revealed about what will be added into the PS3 version of the game, but it seems that those who may have jumped in early on the XBLA version will find themselves slightly disappointed.
