Gamevil Releasing Zombie Gunner For The iOS

Tomorrow Zombie Gunner, a new side-scrolling action/RPG game from Gamevil Inc., is coming out for the iOS. The best part? You get to satiate your appetite for zombie destruction for free!

Zombie Gunner features a colourful and wide variety of weaponry at your disposal, allowing you to electrify, burn and flat-out annihilate zombies. It wouldn’t be an action game without bazookas after all! As Andrew, you will be venturing to find and rescue your lost daughter Lisa, whilst also meeting some friendly characters amongst the infected hordes of zombies who can be added to your party and will help out in further questing. You will also be posed with stage challenges, which challenge you to complete a level under certain criteria that may be time or technique based. All the while you will discover the truth behind the zombie apocalypse and where/why it originated.

Orgarhythm hits the PS Vita on October 23

While we’ve known for awhile now that Orgarhythm from XSEED was meant to be released sometime soon but until now we’ve just had a vague release window. Well it seems that this rhythm-strategy game is going to be released much sooner than we thought. In two weeks actually.

Today it was revealed by XSEED that Orgarhythm will be released for $29.99 on October 23rd and will be available as a digital download only. In the game, players take control of the God of Light as he battles against the God of Darkness using various elemental soldiers and rhythm based attacks set to various types of rock and tribal styled music.

New Wii U Transformers Prime Trailer Flies Out

After a few successful releases, the Transformers franchise is back and looking…well, a lot like the animated show Transformers Prime. Yes, this title is a spin on Hasbro’s television show, and will launch for the Wii U, Wii, DS, and 3DS later this year.

A new trailer recently dropped for the title, showing off the brawling style combat, and things look fine gameplay wise, but a bit underwhelming visually. Normally this would be a red flag, but the animated Prime also has this same bland art style, so fans won’t be too put off if they go in with that in mind. You can check out the new trailer below, and Tranformers Prime will be out November 30th.

Universe Mode Returns in WWE ’13

The fan-favorite mode is back, with brand-new features that make it bigger and better than ever. The much anticipated details about the return of Universe Mode is finally here! WWE ‘13’s Universe Mode 3.0 is bigger and better than ever with brand-new features, including Paul Heyman’s expert guidance (not sure if we really want it, but hey it’s available if you need it). You have the chance to create a show, create a pay-per-view, check your stats and take part in 200 new storyline feuds. More content, more freedom, which is exactly what the WWE universe wants!

Halo 4 Terminal Video Released

Microsoft and 343 Studios have released a new preview video for arguably the most hotly anticipated game of this year Halo 4. The video which can be viewed exclusively on the Halo Waypoint website here serves as a prologue for Halo 4’s domain terminals.

We recently got a chance to get our hands-on the multiplayer of Halo 4 at the EB Expo, you can check out our preview here. In terms of the terminal videos, players are said to be able to uncover additional terminal videos as they explore the Requiem world through the campaign mode of the game.

LittleBigPlanet Community can take part in Project (Near) Space


PlayStation Australia have launched a brand new Facebook campaign for LittleBigPlanet. This brand new and awesome campaign from PlayStation will allow the LittleBigPlanet community take part in Sackboys biggest adventure yet, Project (Near) Space.

Project (Near) Space calls upon LittleBigPlanet fans to do the following:

  • “Create” Sackboy’s astro suit
  • “Play” off your friends to pinpoint Sackboy’s landing location
  • “Share” the  journey and the fun

All of this seems like some kind of celebration right? Well it is! Project (Near) Space is set into motion in order to celebrate the release of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita and LittleBigPlanet Karting on the PS3. Become a Super Saiyan with the just released Dragon Ball Z for Kinect

If you’ve ever pretended that you could use a kamehameha, galick gun, special beam cannon or could turn into a Super Saiyan then you will be glad to hear that a game allowing you to do all that is now on store shelves today. Namco Bandai’s Dragon Ball Z for Kinect has hit store shelves today and with it players can perform over one hundred different moves, including signature finishing moves from most of the DBZ cast simply by performing various motions with their body.

Dragon Ball Z for Kinect features over fifty different players that players will use as they fight their way through authentic battles from the anime series. It is also worth noting that the game will include the “Episode of Bardock” anime episode never released in the West before it’s inclusion in this package. Dragon Ball Z for Kinect is exclusively for the Xbox 360 and will run you only $39.99 at most retailers.

New Little King’s Story DLC announced; ultimate pass detailed

In what is becoming a common trend in video gaming, but perhaps the first time ever for a portable game, Konami has announced that they will be releasing an “Ultimate Pass” for the PlayStation Vita exclusive New Little King’s Story. This ultimate pass will allow gamers to download all DLC for the game that is released, which will actually be quite a lot.

The online pass itself will only cost $19.99 while the 23 individual DLC packages will be released weekly and range in price from only 99 cents a piece to $2.99. For those curious about what these packages may contain, they will range from providing new power ups and weapons, to costumes that you can have the various princesses and female characters in the game wear such as the one to the right.
