Black Lagoon manga to return on January 19

1

Remember how Rei Hiroe, the author of the Black Lagoon manga, mentioned that his manga would be returning earlier this year? Well it turns out that that return is coming a little over a month from now. The January 2013 issue of Shogakukan’s Sunday GX magazine, as reported by MangaNewsJapon contains an announcement that Black Lagoon will return in the February issue of the magazine which will be released to stores on January 19th in Japan.

This marks a hiatus that has lasted over two years for the manga and fans of the series are understandably pleased. Interestingly enough, FUNimation just recently released both season’s of the Black Lagoon anime just a few weeks ago. Currently the manga is licensed in the West by Viz Media and the license for the Black Lagoon OVA series is also held by FUNimation has been released.

New Lego City Undercover Screenshots show a lot of Game

Like it or not, Lego City Undercover is a special game. Reggie chose to announce this title first under the name “Lego City Stories” for the Wii U, leading us all to believe this would be a Lego take on the GTA franchise. Well, we now know the game has switched focus, but the screenshots released today show off one stellar product, with all of our Lego pals loaded in one of the largest worlds that TellTale has built for their famed franchise.

By the looks of it, there will be a limitless amount of things to do within Undercover aside from the plot, with many vehicles to ride and locales to explore. Yeah, it’s still a Lego game, but a damn fine one at that. Check out the new screens below and stay tuned, as this beast hits the Wii U and 3DS sometime in 2013.

Capcom Release Three new Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate Videos

Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate may not be hitting shelves for the Wii U until March, but that doesn’t mean we can’t begin to get excited. Today, Capcom released three new videos, displaying what makes this version of the game superior and worthy of ownership. These clips feature our hero battling with the new Lagombi, powerful Zinogre and flagship foe, the Brachydios.

The Wii U version will also be able to sync with the 3DS version, allowing players to transfer save files between their copies of the game. I am pretty pumped myself, and these trailers should be enough to get Wii U owners (and 3DS owners as well) thinking about the future.

Total War: Rome II Factions Beginning to Be Revealed

Total War: Rome II may be set around the time period, but not necessarily only around Rome itself as Creative Assembly has begun to reveal the different factions that players will be able to choose from.  While the first faction to be revealed was probably the most obvious, being Rome and all, the second starts to show the depth of the game when it was revealed as the North African Carthage.

So far only those two have been revealed, but there will be more to come in the upcoming weeks as the factions give players a nice diversity of play.  Not only from different starting positions, but in different political systems and agents to utilize, even having varied styles of armies.  Even further some of the factions will have multiple families, such as Rome, adding more complexity to how they play.

Until more of the factions for Total War: Rome II are revealed players can check out and compare the two factions already announced in the gallery below and see how the stack up to each other.
