If you’re looking for some new maps to call in countless scorestreaks and wreck your opponents in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 then you’re in luck if you happen to be an Xbox 360 owner. The Black Ops 2 Revolution map pack DLC is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The package will cost 1200MSP ($15) and will be a 1.86GB download.
The Revolution DLC provides players with four multiplayer maps, a new Zombie map called Die Rise and even a new gun called the Peacekeeper SMG. The DLC also includes a new gameplay mode called “Turned Mode” which allows players to become a zombie and try to kill another human player to take their place. Currently it is unknown when the DLC will be available for PC and PS3 users, however it will likely be within 30 days of this release.
Western Vita owners will now be able to set a date for the next big game coming to the floundering handheld. Today it was revealed that Keiji Inafune’s Soul Sacrifice will be released in North America on April 30th while gamers in Europe will have to wait an extra day to pick it up on May 1st.
To go along with this announcement, Sony also announced the pre-order bonuses for both regions which are the same exact thing. Pre-ordering the game nets you two character costumes and three magical aids in the form of Spirits’ Flamepike, a five-hit combo attack with fire, the Sprits’ Blightstone which causes a poisonous explosion and a Spirits’ Fulgurwood which causes a lightning attack that tracks enemies.
However one thing that is going to piss some people off is the fact that if you don’t pre-order the game, you won’t be given the Japanese voice track. Now while not a big thing for some people, this is just stupid now and will probably be released later as DLC for an obvious money grab that is desperate to milk fans of the game out of every possible cent.
This week’s issue of Dengeki PlayStation has revealed the expected release date for Compile Heart’s sequel to Mugen Souls, Mugen Souls Z. Currently the title is set to be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3 in Japan on April 25th. It is worth noting that while Mugen Souls Z has not been licensed for Western release as of yet, NIS America brought the first title in the series over last year.
As reported by Game Nyarth, Dengeki PlayStation also contained a new piece of information about a new gameplay system called “Chameleon System” which… allows for the changing of swimsuit color during the massage mini-game that was censored and removed in the previous game’s Western release much to fans’ chagrin.
If you’re looking to drop some money on Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hacker early then you will be securing yourself the game’s pre-order bonus which is the game’s soundtrack CD which includes the newly-arranged music for the title.
The pre-order bonus is available for those who buy the game at GameStop, EBGames, Amazon and VGP across the United States and Canada. Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is currently set to be released on April 16th in North America and will be available as both a digital download and physically at various stores. Soul Hackers has seen a number of improvements over the original game, such as voice acting, new enemies and demons, difficulty changing in dungeons and faster battling.
Dead Space 3 is currently set to be released in a little over a week and EA and Visceral Games have decided to kick off the title’s launch a little bit early because even though the title won’t be hitting shelves until February 5th in North America, these companies have released the game’s launch trailer.
The trailer itself can be checked out below. Potential buyers also have the ability to download the game’s demo on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and test out some of the game’s features such as the new additions to combat, new monsters and new weapon customization.
For MMO fans, there may be a new reason to pay attention due to Ray Media’s announcement of the open beta to Chrono Tales. The game is a free-to-play 3d MMORPG that can be played in a browser. The game features full 3d game play and the ability to challenge any other person in PvP combat at any time. The game has been optimized for this beta to include several interesting features; the level cap has now been increased to a challenging level 70, and players can explore a brand new area called the “Crystal Mine”.
But that’s not all that the beta has added though, there’s also a new boss for the extended leveling world called the Thunder Knight, and a new Daily Instances Monster Garden. The developers have added a new VIP System to Chrono Tales that give players additional features and privileges depending on that persons VIP level. In order for the players to reach VIP1 they must have recharged 250 Diamonds which includes an in-game gift pack that comes with a Legendary Diamond Ring.
The game can be accessed without the need of any activation codes and none of the game data will be wiped when the beta is over. If this sound like it could be up your alley then you can find more information at the games official web site here.
If you’ve been keeping an eye out for Etrian Odyssey IV news then you’ll know that Atlus has been showing off a number of character classes so far. In fact they’ve shown off a medic class so far, the landsknecht (warrior) class, the fortress class and even the dancer class to help round things out.
Now the company has released a new video and this time around it is showing off the sniper class. Snipers are, as one would expect, an archer that can target an enemy’s weak points to deal critical damage as well as sneak past enemies to obtain items under their noses. Certainly an interesting ability considering that usually is a thief’s territory. Either way, Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan is set to be released on February 26th.
Could Resident Evil’s Umbrella Corporation really exist? Is there really such a corporation out there developing the deadly T, G or C Virus to create deadly BOWS? There might be. Today we’ve come across some news that could possibly hold water to this theory. A Chinese company going by the name of UMBRELLA, JiangSu Umbrella Bio-Technology located in Jiangsu Kunshan Development Zone, Science Park Square Qianjin, China are using the same UMBRELLA logo (see image above) and are also in the science, research and development industry providing the following agricultural services :
Provide quality supply of pesticides, including fungicides, insecticides, fertilizer, regulators, original drug supply, including topiramate efficiency Long, amine fresh fat, 5 – nitro guaiacol sodium, regulator formulations, as well as the formulation of screening services. Individual plant protection and technical training. Provide all base sets diseases, high yield cultivation solutions. Enterprise indoor the virulence test reports, field trials design guidance, implementation
Now could this just be a front for something bigger? Remember the Umbrella Corporation also had a front as well, and that was developing Pharmaceutical products for the benefit of human kind. But in the background they were up to some pretty scary stuff. Could Umbrella Bio Tech be up to the same thing. Fans of the Resident Evil series will know all too well that there were some deadly plant BOWS in both Resident Evil 1 and Resident Evil 2. And on top of all that in Resident Evil 6 a Bio Terrorist attack was launched in China turning nearly everyone into mindless Zombies.
These are facts and theories I’ll leave with you to ponder upon, Also check out the official website here. and note the first 2 initials of the site, BHSKJ.com (BH = Bio Hazard) … hmm. Comments, suggestions, theories welcome in the comment section below.
