About Kitaria Fables 2

Across the great expanse of the Endless Ocean lies the Arkadera Peninsula, a distant region that once marked the western edge of the Empire. As the years passed and the Empire’s presence began to fade, the outposts that once protected Arkadera’s citizens were gradually reclaimed by nature, leaving behind a small community to take refuge in the walled haven of Whitewall Town.

Eager to prove their skills in the field, ambitious Royal Army ‘Pathfinder’ Alice Skylar and plucky local guide Dusty Tuftkin join up with the Royal Academy Expedition Team on its mission to reopen Whitewall Town’s fabled errand house, explore the wide peninsula, and restore the long-forgotten outposts.

But as the expedition journeys farther into the north, rumours of a mysterious figure deep within the wilderness slowly begin to surface…

Psychological Horror Visual Novel Print I Love U Now Available on Steam!

A chilling visual novel that blurs the line between reality and the digital world, building psychological dread through atmosphere and narrative

Rome, Italy – August 21st, 2026 – Publisher Red Hog Studio is pleased to announce that Print I Love U, a first-person psychological horror visual novel developed by Claudio Moltedo, is now officially available on Steam! This haunting compact experience draws players into a narrative centered around a mysterious, unfinished game discovered on a second-hand computer, offering a tightly crafted psychological horror experience designed for fans of indie visual novels and atmospheric storytelling.

The story of Print I Love U begins with a second-hand laptop of mysterious origins. Its previous owner has long since disappeared, but hidden deep within the hard drive is a short game that seemingly no one knows about. A message at the beginning of the game reveals the first clue: the game was made by its developer for a girl named Alice Print.

Players navigate three interwoven minigames and branching paths, uncovering fragments of a story never meant to be discovered. The game incorporates the act of playing itself into its storytelling, blurring the boundary between reality and the virtual world. Behind the seemingly lighthearted minigames lie unsettling secrets. As emotional tension gradually builds, the horror continues to sink in even after the player has finished playing, leaving them with plenty to think about. The game features multiple endings, and not every narrative path leads to a complete conclusion. Deliberate gaps in the storytelling, combined with hidden details and subtle foreshadowing, allow the sense of unease to linger.

With a single playthrough lasting around 15-20 minutes, Print I Love U is suited to short, fragmented gaming sessions while offering a complete narrative arc. Its multiple endings add replay value, with different choices revealing additional fragments of the truth surrounding the developer and Alice. Inspired by the acclaimed indie game Milk inside a bag of milk inside a bag of milk, the game explores how powerful emotional impact doesn’t require expansive scope – only precision and honesty.

“This project represents my exploration of the ‘small scale, strong emotions’ creative philosophy,” said developer Claudio Moltedo. “I wanted to deliver a powerful emotional impact through a deliberately concise experience, inspired by games that prove you don’t need hundreds of hours to leave a lasting impression on players.”

Key Features:

  • Compact narrative experience completable in approximately 15-20 minutes
  • Multiple endings and hidden narrative paths that reveal new story fragments
  • Three integrated minigames woven into the psychological horror narrative
  • Hand-drawn character animations and pixelated art style combining retro and contemporary aesthetics
  • Fully original soundtrack with narrative-driven compositions
  • Psychological horror through atmosphere and narrative tension rather than jump scares

New Torchlight: Infinite Hardcore Server The Unbound Launches Today

Test your mettle in Torchlight: Infinite’s new high-risk, high-reward Hardcore Server

Shanghai, ChinaAugust 21, 2026 | Publisher XD Games is thrilled to announce the official launch of Torchlight: Infinite’s new Hardcore Server: The Unbound.

Designed to shake things up as a recurring seasonal event, this mid-season update introduces powerful new game mechanics and frantic gameplay for players willing to test their skills under the threat of permadeath.

Watch the Torchlight: Infinite Unbound preview video below:

The Unbound brings back mechanics from prior seasons and introduces two main changes to the core Torchlight: Infinite gameplay experience: Unbound – Move to Cast, and Unshackled Destiny. Unbound – Move to Cast regularly fires players’ Main Skill as they move across the battlefield, meaning players can progress through maps and level up faster.

Meanwhile, Unshackled Destiny removes all limits on Destiny Installs. This means players have more freedom to customise their builds so they can maximise their chances of successfully taking on The Unbound’s challenges.

The Unbound will also introduce five new Compasses, which can enhance players’ runs in a big way.

Those five Compasses are:

  • Unbound Arcana Compass: Boosts your chances to encounter a Tarot Trial after killing a Boss in Arcana, with each completed Tarot Trial raising the chance of Secret Paths spawning.
  • Unbound Overrealm Compass: Guarantees that your first Bottle Shadow captured in the Overrealm will be Red Quality or better.
  • Unbound Outlaw Compass: Guarantees every Bonus Supply triggers two additional times in relevant content.
  • Unbound Dark Surge Compass: Greatly increases the chances that Dark Surge rewards will roll as Legendary Gear.
  • Unbound Lunaria Compass: Guarantees that players in Lunaria will summon a Scarlet Moon Incantation boss encounter.

All five Compasses can be obtained for free, but interested players should come prepared. They don’t just boost your runs and rewards, they also raise the stakes and make enemies more dangerous.

There is no guarantee that The Unbound’s game mechanics will be introduced to the live server, so any players looking for a higher level of risk (and reward) should hop into Torchlight: Infinite’s new hardcore server from today.

For more information about The Unbound, watch the preview trailer on YouTube.

Torchlight: Infinite is available now on PC, iOS, and Android

Free Demo of Outpost Simulator Arrives on Steam on August 21

A free demo of Outpost Simulator, a post-apocalyptic game combining base building, customer simulation, and survival, launches on Steam on August 21. Players take charge of an abandoned outpost, serve the survivors who arrive there, defend the base against raids, and explore the wasteland in a survival van. The full version is set to release in the first half of 2027.

Outpost Simulator is the work of studio Mental Dreams, a solo developer from Türkiye who has been working on the project for the past few months. Ultimate Publishing is the publisher.

Steam store – https://store.steampowered.com/app/4899230/Outpost_Simulator_Demo/

One Outpost, a Handful of Survivors, a Wasteland Full of Threats

Outpost Simulator is a first-person game that combines base building, customer simulation, management, and survival elements. The world has fallen, and players start with a small abandoned outpost, with the goal of turning it into a thriving settlement.

Survivors arrive at the base looking for food, shelter, and safety, and every need met earns money. Players set up service areas, keep them stocked, and give people a reason to stay. Earnings go toward new buildings, better services, and stronger defenses.

Building and upgrading the outpost is central to the gameplay. Players expand from a bare shelter into a full settlement with tents, gardens, water tanks, power, a pub, a radio station, and more, and every structure can be upgraded. Players can also hire workers to automate production and management tasks, including guardians, farming drones, and auto-turrets.

Outpost Simulator also has no shortage of combat. When raiders attack, players defend everything they have built using mines, explosive traps, auto-turrets, assault and sniper rifles, and a gravity gun. That last tool works for both hauling supplies and tearing through enemies.

The game additionally features exploration in a survival van. Players drive across the open post-apocalyptic world to scavenge supplies, unlock new items, and take on missions ranging from rescuing stranded survivors to collecting fuel and securing areas. Seasons shift from winter to spring, prices rise and fall with conditions, and tougher enemies wait deeper in the map.

What’s in the Demo

The free demo introduces the game’s core mechanics and progression systems while leaving significant content for the full release. It includes a tutorial covering the core gameplay, defending the base against enemy raids, using the survival van, and spending earned money on upgrades for both the player and the base. The demo also introduces the game’s overall story and showcases its visual style.

Certain elements are reserved for the full version, including expanded map exploration, the seasonal system, customizable gameplay modes, a greater variety of enemy types and raids, an expanded market, additional buildings such as the pub, radio station, wind turbine, and water tank, further weapons and upgrades, and the full set of side missions.

Key Features

  • Serve the survivors and earn money
  • Build and upgrade your outpost
  • Defend the base against raids
  • Explore the wasteland in a survival van
  • Hire workers to automate your settlement

The free demo of Outpost Simulator launches on Steam on August 21, 2026. The full version will be released in H1 2027.

  • System Updates: Version 1.10 drops on September 10, increasing the max level cap by 10 and allowing more player flexibility in Vault Hunter builds for all players.

Today, 2K and Gearbox Software announced new details for Borderlands® 4’s Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort and Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows, both launching on September 10, 2026. Story Pack 2 content introduces the all-new Vault Hunter, Loveless the Hacker, and brings a new zone packed with missions, collectibles, and eye-catching landmarks; intimidating enemies and intense boss fights; tons of new loot; and much more. Bounty Pack 5 delivers an all-new repeatable mission alongside new bosses, cosmetics, and legendary gear.

Venture into the Verdant Wilds of Providence

On the remote island of Providence, a tropical resort neighbouring a majestic volcano and made for the Timekeeper’s chosen is about to become a warzone. The Tediore corporation, looking to secure the island’s precious Ordonite resource, has sent an expeditionary group to Providence led by five elite managers who serve the ruthless Lieutenant Harmony. Players will team up with FL4K, an unequalled beastmaster returning from Borderlands 3, to save their loyal skag companion Mr. Chew and teach the Tediore corporation a brutal lesson.

The island is crawling with Tediore troops, including soldiers in exo-suits that fight on even after their fleshy centres are shot dead and hulking mechs with varying weapon attachments that can buff their allies and digistruct reinforcements into battle. Eliminating Tediore’s rank-and-file grunts, colossal war machines, and the elite managers who lead them will give players their shot at taking on Lt. Harmony.  Reaching her will be a challenge itself, as Tediore has converted the volcano on Providence into a base-of-operations bunker. That volcano is very much still active, and can spew out Ordonite-infused lava across the island, including molten rocks that spawn minibosses on impact in new world events.

Verticality is a core part of Providence’s layout, bolstered by a new type of mobility: ziplines. Players can traverse high above the treetops of Providence’s jungle by grappling onto these ziplines and use them to reach new vantage points or get the upper hand in combat. Another new type of activity exclusive to Providence is the opportunity to upload into Tediore’s digiverse servers, battling waves of enemies at the source before they can materialise into the physical world.

Players who manage to survive Providence’s treacherous wilds and the legion of Tediore troops occupying them will have a chance for some incredibly powerful new loot, including two new Pearlescent weapons and 18 pieces of Legendary gear.

Play as the New Vault Hunter: Loveless the Hacker

Players can traverse the lush jungles of Providence as the second new Vault Hunter coming to Borderlands 4, Loveless the Hacker, an ex-Anshin hacker turned assassin. Equipped with the highest-end cybernetics, Loveless shares her mind with a digital virus of her own creation, which can digistruct into a physical form that acts as a deadly extension of her shared, perfection-seeking will.

Loveless the Hacker and her cosmetics will be available for individual purchase, separate from the Story Pack 2 narrative content, map zone, and missions. A deeper look into Loveless gameplay is coming soon, as she will have her own dedicated episode of the Gearbox DevCast going live on September 3.

Even More Content is Coming with Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows

The arrival of the Elpis moon changed Kairos forever, and now the planet is showing signs of coming apart completely. With her Siren powers and attunement to Phase energies, Amara has pinpointed a possible source of the worsening instability: one of Vile Lictor’s old laboratories, where Order Synths that once served him lie dormant.

Players will team up with Amara to track down the Phase disturbances and stop their propagation before they unravel the known universe. This new mission will give players a chance to revisit Elpis and the Phase dimension that connects all Sirens, both key elements to the overall story of Borderlands 4. Additionally, Bounty Pack 5 will delve deeper into the lore of Sirens and their vital place in the Borderlands universe, as Amara grapples with the possibility that her tether to the Phase has been permanently disrupted.

Completing the mission will unlock a Vault Hunter Skin usable by all Vault Hunters, a Vehicle, and an ECHO-4 Drone Skin. Players can also take on a new boss, two new mini-bosses, and new Vile enemy types to earn a new Pearlescent weapon and six new pieces of Legendary loot.

Available to purchase separately from Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows’ narrative-focused content, Bounty Pack 5: Vault Card 5 lets players earn new space-age rewards through gameplay, with 24 cosmetic items and four pieces of rerollable gear to unlock.

Story Pack 2, Loveless the Hacker, and Bounty Pack 5 will all arrive as part of the Version 1.10 update arriving on September 10. This update will increase the max level cap by 10 levels for all Borderlands 4 players.

Also coming on September 10, players will now be able to purchase the individual parts of the Story Pack 1 and Bounty Pack 2 DLCs separately. This was previously only available for DLC starting with Bounty Pack 3. As part of this change, players who own either part of Story Pack 1 or Bounty Pack 2 on PlayStation 5 or XBOX Series X|S will need to navigate to each listing for these separate parts on their platform’s storefront to redownload their content starting on September 10. This is due to the individual contents of these DLC packs being made available for purchase separately on console platforms.

Borderlands 4 is now available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. For the latest information on Borderlands 4, visit www.borderlands.com, and follow the game across YouTube, Facebook, X, Instagram and TikTok.

Gearbox Software is a 2K studio. 2K is a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO).

*Story Pack 2 DLC has two parts: new story content in FL4K and the Last Resort, and a playable Vault Hunter with Loveless the Hacker. Included in the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition, Vault Hunter Pack, and available for separate purchase. Base game required.

**Bounty Pack 5 DLC has two parts: a repeatable mission in Amara and the Vile Shadows, and rewards earned through gameplay with Vault Card 5. Included with the Borderlands 4 Bounty Pack Bundle, Deluxe and Super Deluxe Editions, and available for separate purchase. Base game required.

“I grew up playing the POSTAL games and have been a die‑hard fan for over 20 years. This is a dream sandbox to create in,” Kevin Roditeli, CEO and creative director at Roditeli Productions, said. “This is just the beginning of the POSTAL comics; you made it possible. Thank you so much for making this dream come true. My team and Running With Scissors are grateful for your support and can’t wait to share the book with you!”

The POSTAL Dude is making his comics debut in a series produced/co-written by Kevin Roditeli (SWAT Kats, X‑O Manowar, Bad Omens: Concrete Jungle) and co-written by Rob Cannon (Freak Snow, Anime Animay). In this brand new story, the POSTAL Dude sets off on what appears to be a normal Monday, only to have his fragile peace of mind shattered once again – this time by an ad for a sinister dating app that sends him into a spiral of conspiracy-fueled madness.

The Kickstarter campaign runs through 10 Sept 2026.

About Running With Scissors

Running With Scissors, founded in Tucson, AZ, in 1996 and now operating from all across the world, is an independent video game studio that develops and publishes outrageous games just for the hell of it. Best known for creating POSTAL, the cult-classic video game franchise. RWS‘s goals is to make action-packed games that are fun, funny, and possibly even politically correct. Our games feature wonderfully excessive amounts of violence; however, we are not in favor of real-life violence and believe it’s a hell of a lot better to act out your frustrations in video games rather than against your fellow man. The studio recently announced its upcoming game, Flesh & Wire, which is set to release in 2027.
