Sydney, Australia, May 13, 2026 – NITRO GEN OMEGA, an RPG turned-based sandbox game, developed by Italian studio DESTINYbit, is finally available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Previously available on Steam in Early Access, the game is set in a post-apocalyptic universe, where machines are ruling the world. Through an innovative turn-based combat system, players will have to survive in this hostile environment by assembling their own team and defeating enemies using a customisable Mech.
The 1.0 version of the game adds a Main Quest, which invites players to embark on an ultimate, epic journey in the desperate attempt to save the world from machines. The story will introduce new characters, cutscenes, and never-before-heard tracks from the soundtrack, further expanding the NITRO GEN OMEGA universe.
At the heart of the gameplay is the original cinematic turn-based combat system. Each turn is divided into a first Planning Phase, where it is possible to decide every move on a timeline; and a second Resolution Phase, where the decision taken will be shown in fully animated anime-style sequences. Players will have to take care of their crew by nurturing bonds between teammates and controlling everyone’s health status, fatigue, and morale through special activities. In fact, the team’s status will deeply impact the battle’s outcomes. It is also possible to explore the wastelands, filled with rogue AI, by accepting contracts and missions. Those will make players accumulate resources and fundamental parts to upgrade their Mech.
A demo* is also available, where it is possible to try the first chapter of the Main Quest.

MindEdges and Skystone Games Announce Automation Love Letter with Eastern European Soul
SAN FRANCISCO – MindEdges and Skystone Games announce AGRONOM, an automation farming game that blends the mechanical depth of Satisfactory and Factorio with the warmth of Eastern European tradition. Build your Martian homestead. Automate your dreams. Grow borscht on an alien world!
You’ve landed on Mars with nothing but a patch of barren red soil and a memory. Gramps Makar’s wife Sofia always dreamed of a home filled with life—with gardens, with purpose, with warmth. Now, on a dead planet in the 22nd century, you’re going to build it for them.
AGRONOM is a love letter to two things: the obsessive optimization of automation games and the human need to create something beautiful. You’ll build production chains that would make any engineer weep—conveyor belts carrying resources, robots tending to greenhouses, furnaces churning day and night. But this isn’t sterile efficiency. It’s cozy. It’s personal. Your robots have personalities. Your base is infused with the folk traditions of old Eastern Europe—painted wood, warm colors, the sense that you’re not just surviving, you’re living.
Dig for resources, build structures, and plant crops. Optimize your production chains to grow food, craft tools, and unlock new regions of Mars. Every upgrade to your base brings you closer to the vision—a thriving settlement where technology and tradition breathe together. The systems will challenge you. The aesthetics will comfort you. And somewhere in the automation loops and the colorful tiles, you’ll find what it means to build a home on an impossible world.
About MindEdges
MindEdges is a game development studio passionate about creating experiences that blend deep systems with heart. AGRONOM represents their vision of automation games that respect both the joy of optimization and the human need for beauty and meaning.

Two perspectives, one fight: Work together to battle the forces of darkness as King, Fish
May 12, 2026 – WheelMates developer FireVolt reveal Kingfish, a two-player roguelite cooperative city-builder about managing and defending a kingdom on the back of an ancient leviathan. Kingfish sets sail for consoles and PC via Steam in 2027.
Assume one of two roles in a world covered in a vast ocean filled with monsters and other dangers – Play strategically from above as the giant fish which doubles as the land for the kingdom. Manage resources, build structures, and provide support on the battlefield. On the ground which doubles as the back of the massive seabeast, guide the young King, gathering resources and fighting enemies in real-time combat.
If King and Fish will survive, they must coordinate and each play their roles. As King, manage the details of life on the back of a giant fish and manage the unique villagers.Pay attention to their needs and preferences to raise morale and have a fighting force ready when it’s time for battle, then respond to immediate invading threats.
Or become the far-seeing Fish and look to the bigger picture – nearby dangers in the sea, resource production, and the layout of the city. Expand the city and organize workers to meet production goals. Alert the King to hostile forces approaching in the darkness of night, and provide support in battle by casting powerful spells.
Share information about enemies, resources, and plans in order to bring peace and harmony to the tiny civilization emerging on the back of the ancient leviathan, and carry on the royal family’s promise and destiny!
“The King and Fish both have incomplete information, and it creates this great dynamic of working together despite having completely different perspectives on the same situation,” said FireVolt. “We wanted to bring a fresh take on city builders, blending real-time strategy and third-person action in an asymmetric cooperative experience..”
Each run brings a new city to build, with new characters to meet, new buildings to construct, and new artefacts to discover, but with returning villagers, who provide special perks to King and Fish.
Kingfish launches on PC via Steam in 2027. For more information about the game, be sure to add it to your Steam wishlist.

Already holding a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam, the narrative management sim continues to gain momentum as players push deeper into its harsh expedition systems and evolving trail-management gameplay.

Available on Steam This Week – Put Your Experience to The Test in a Punishing New Difficulty Level, and Begin Your Adventure Anew with New Game+
Milton Keynes, UK, May 12, 2026 – With the release of the dark fantasy action-adventure Blades of Fire on Steam just days away, developer MercurySteam and publisher 505 Games have revealed details on two more new features to come with Version 2.0. The final video of their weekly feature reveal series showcases a punishing new difficulty mode, Titanium Difficulty, alongside the introduction of New Game Plus, allowing players to replay Aran de Lira’s adventure and uncover a new level of mastering the forge.
Watch the final episode of the Blades of FireFeature Video Series: Titanium Difficulty & New Game+
The highly challenging difficulty level, Titanium Difficulty – recommended only for the most experienced players looking to prove themselves – doesn’t pull any punches! It requires smart combat tactics, excellent weapon management, and a perceptive eye to strategize against enemy behaviour for them to come out unscathed. Players will battle their way through enemies with enhanced health, armour, and a 20% damage increase. Bosses have been rebalanced, with stricter timing-based mechanics – rewards come to those with precise combat, while failure awaits the reckless. And if that wasn’t enough, the Queen has placed a curse on certain Anvils throughout the realm, rendering them unusable for rest or fast travel, hindering Aran’s progress.
Unlocked after completing Blades of Fire a first time, New Game Plus invites players to relive Aran’s adventure while maintaining most of their progression. Skills and upgrades, health and stamina gems, weapons and blueprints, materials, forge memory, codex content, Arcana spells and unlocked skins, will carry over but at a cost, as enemy damage will scale to a player’s maximum health. For the completionists, New Game Plus introduces two new skins and 27 exclusive forge statues that will unlock brand new weapon parts. Visible on the map from the start, offer up the correct weapon type to each statue to make new weapon parts available in the forge.
For players looking to put their skills to the test and reap the rewards that come from overcoming a brutal challenge, Titanium Difficulty and New Game Plus are exactly what they’re looking for.
Download the Blades of Fire demo, available now on Steam, and experience the new features included in Version 2.0 ahead of its official launch.
Blades of Fire is currently available on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Blades of Fire – Version 2.0 will be available on Steam on May 14.
Starting May 14, the Version 2.0 upgrade launches as a free update on all other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox, and Epic Games Store (PC).
