Dragon Ball Xenoverse Jump Festa Trailer

dragonball-xenoverse-screenshots-06

The Jump Festa trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse that we predicted would be out soon is finally here in all it’s four minute glory. The trailer from Bandai Namco focuses big time on the story mode from the Saiyan Saga all the way to the Buu Saga and Battle of Gods and it looks like no one is immune to the body hijacking effects of Mira and Towa as we see Piccolo, Gohan and even Hercule and Beerus come under their control. Some new screenshots were also released that makes it appear there are two levels of this evil possession as sometimes the villains eyes are simply red, but other times they have this tear stain effect.

It’s refreshing to see some more story footage and it looks great, from the way your character is there to pivotal moments to more funny segments such as Vegeta seemingly being apart of the Ginyu Force! There was also a character we have never seen before revealed and that is Great Ape Nappa, who seemingly will appear alongside Great Ape Vegeta to cause double the trouble for our heroes. Set your hype to 11 and check out the trailer for yourself below and click here if you want to see three new gameplay videos that appeared over the weekend. Both the Japanese and English trailers are on display with the Japanese version featuring Cha-La Head Cha-La!

Its nearly time for Captain Toad to go on a hefty adventure down under. On January 3rd, Captain Toad’s Treasure Tracker will be released for the Wii U in Australia via retail and the eShop (seven days earlier than previously expected), putting the once side character at the forefront of his own little journey.

If you are unfamiliar with this title, its pretty much a more realized version of the little Captain Toad segments within Super Mario 3D World, featuring a ton of content and even Toadette as a playable character. Yes, this is quite the charmer and a fantastic way for players to spend some time with a very deserving hero.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse GT and Battle of Gods Gameplay

While we are still waiting on the official release of a trailer that was shown at Jump Festa in Japan over the weekend to be released on the Internet, we got three very sweet Dragon Ball Xenoverse gameplay videos which showed Super Saiyan 4 Goku vs. Super Android 17, Super Saiyan God Goku vs Beerus. and Beerus vs Whis.

All three fights were intense but also showed off great new things we didn’t know. First off we get three new stages never seen in games before in West City and the Capsule Corp. building, the underground cave where Goku and Beerus fought and also the raised islands where Super 17 and Goku fought briefly. Dimps is really paying attention to detail with the stages and it’s nice to get some stages that are not just general representations of locales from the series.

Secondly, we get our first listen to the games new soundtrack and it’s sounding great, capturing that Dragon Ball feel while remaining epic and serving as a great backdrop to the fights. Lastly, we see that custom intro’s are back as Beerus directly addresses Whis before they begin their battle.

You can watch all three full length fights below and we will bring you the new trailer as soon as Bandai Namco releases it.
