When the New Nintendo 3DS was released it bought with it some awesome new features, one of which was themes for the systems home menu. The latest batch of themes come directly from Sega and they use artwork and music from the fan favourite titles Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. There are four new Sonic themes with each one sporting a different character and menu music. There is Sonic with music from the hub world in Sonic Generations titled White Space: Seaside Hill, Shadow with Radical Highway from SA2, Amy with My Sweet Passion from SA1 and also a Chao theme with the Chao Garden theme.
Check out the video below to see and hear these themes in action. Each theme can be purchased from the Nintendo eShop at $1.99 each ($2.60 in Australia). You can also buy all four for $5.99 which essentially gives you one free or you can go the free route and take the Sonic Boom theme which is also available. Is this a sign Sega is thinking about Sonic Adventure 3? Hopefully but we wouldn’t count on it. Let us know in the comments below which theme you will be downloading, if any. Definitely Shadow the Hedgehog for me, always loved the Radical Highway track.

Just yesterday we learned that NIS America is planning on bringing Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance over in Fall 2015 and today the official Japanese website for the game has went live with new details, artwork, and gameplay clips showing off some of the main bad guys in the game, including the man that everyone wants to kill, Void Dark.
The website also gave new details on the characters as it states that Void Dark is the worst demon emperor in history and his name is known throughout every underworld. With his cold-hearted and brutal strategies that use his “Lost Army” soldiers as tools, he has been unstoppable.
Also detailed is Bloodis, Void Dark’s right hand man who is a demon general that is nearly as powerful as Void Dark, and Majorita, a female general that is loyal to Void Dark and kills anyone who gets in her way, regardless of whether they are an ally or an enemy since they all become tools to wield with her Necromancer powers.

On the sixth day of their 7 Days of Christmas promotion, Hanabee announced that they have licensed Humanity Has Declined. It will be released on DVD for a suggested retail price of $49.99 AUD on March 4, 2015. The release will come with two discs, feature Japanese audio with English subtitles and feature the textless opening and ending animation. It can be pre-ordered here.
Sentai Filmworks released the series on both DVD and Blu-ray in 2013. On-disc extras on their release include story digests and the Survival of the Fittest OVAs as well as the textless opening and ending animation. Hanabee’s announcement does not make it clear if they will be including the additional extras as well or if they will be releasing the series on Blu-ray at a later date. Sentai Filmworks describes the series as follows:
For years, declining birth rates have forced what’s left of the human race to cede more and more territory to other beings who have appeared to take advantage of the emptying ecological niche. Now, only a handful of humans remain among the remnants of civilization and Earth is dominated by faeries – tiny, ten-inch tall creatures of surprising intelligence. But humanity’s importance isn’t over quite yet, as young Watashi learns as she makes the decision to return to her hometown and assume her grandfather’s position as an arbitrator between the races. Unfortunately, the job isn’t going to be anywhere near as simple as she expected, and it’s going to take a wisdom far beyond her years to achieve her most important mission. Because it’s not about how often you fall and fail, it’s about how often you get back up and try again, and the human race still has a lot left to accomplish in Jinrui wa Suitai Shimashita.
