Ubisoft launched Far Cry 4’s latest piece of DLC today. “Escape from Durgesh Prison” contains a new mini-campaign set before the final stand-off against Yuma. Hurk and Ajay have been stripped of their weapon and tossed into Durgesh Prison and now must fight their way to the extraction point.
The DLC comes with a catch. If the Hurk and Ajay die before reaching the extraction point, they lose all their weapons and must start from the beginning.
Two developers from the Far Cry 4 team sat down to create an accelerated walkthrough of “Escape from Durgesh Prison” video.
Far Cry 4 “Escape from Durgesh Prison” is available on its own or part of Far Cry 4 Season Pass for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Windows.
Recently, Game Informer caught up with two of the key developers behind the original Uncharted game, Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, for an interview. They are now the directing over the development of the PlayStation 4 exclusive Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and have ensured us that Naughty Dog is focused exclusively on this project to make it the “Ultimate Uncharted”.
“We’re constantly questioning how to do this better … we want to create an experience that resonates with the player, and what we’re trying to do is create amazingly rich characters and an adventure that these characters can go on. All these things have to make sense and they have to click together with the controller in your hand. And I want to feel engaged.” – Bruce Straley
Fans of the series are already expecting a great deal from this game and the developers have considered this. They are seeking a balance between bringing fresh ideas and concepts to the game without losing the elements of the game that made us fall in love with it.
“I don’t want to just play the same game as I’ve always played before. So we’re going to evolve it,” he said. “And then we did The Last of Us and that gave us new concepts about how to evolve things. Each time, it’s not like as developers we’re like, ‘I’m bored.’ We as players, we want to play a game that is the ultimate Uncharted that we think this thing could be. It has such great potential.”
On the mention of Last of Us, Straley and Druckmann was questioned on the rumours of  The Last of Us 2 to which they responded with “That’s all a big if… We’re 110 percent in Uncharted 4 territory now. Blinders on to make this awesome.”
From a demo played on PlayStation Experience last month, it looks like Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will offer wider, more sandbox feel, to the gameplay. Naughty Dog hopes that fans will appreciate the change to explore the game and in-game environments, but this does leave one to wonder how much this will take away from an engaging story, which is what I loved about the previous games.
There has been rumors that Naughty Dog has been making plans for a sequel for The Last of Us. Naughty Dog tried not to confirm a sequel, but things were shaken up when The Last of Us 2Â was spotted on a former Naughty Dog developer’s resume in late December. It seems like they are letting the idea get to them, but it is being put on ice to prioritize efforts for the up-coming Uncharted 4, so we might on hear much information on it for some time.
Some information was give by Naughty Dog developers, Bruce Straley and Neil Druckmann, during an interview about Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. They say that Last of Us is still “a big if”. They admitted to brainstorming ideas for a new sequel, but they might just be use for a whole new game, as they feel that Last of Us might be better off being a one-off game. I sure that many fans of the game would agree as well.
Druckmann and Straley were also asked if they could ever see a sequel to The Last of Us being made without them. Druckmann couldn’t bring himself to answer the question, but Straley stepped in for him and said, “I will answer for Druckmann, he would not be OK with that.” Overall, Druckmann said it’s a “big assumption” to think that Naughty Dog will ever make a sequel to The Last of Us.
While a sequel to The Last of Us remains unannounced, Sony is moving forward on a feature film based on the post-apocalyptic series. Druckmann is writing the script for the movie, which could star Game of Thrones actress Maisie Williams as Ellie and Spider-Man director Sam Raimi as a producer.
If you’re still holding onto your copy of Assassin’s Creed Unity then you’ll be happy to hear that the first piece of DLC for the title, Dead Kings, which was made free for all users after Ubisoft‘s extremely buggy release of the core game, is now available for download on the Xbox One and will be available tomorrow for PlayStation 4 owners in the UK.
In Dead Kings, players will encounter a number of familiar faces, including Napoleon and the Marquis de Sade as they fight against Raiders amongst the catacombs of Franciade, also known as Saint-Denis as he searches for the best-kept secrets of past French Kings.

In this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine, courtesy of Gamestalk, details concerning a new costume breaking in Senran Kagura: Estival Versus have been revealed. Unlike past games, as players fight their clothing will be torn little by little until it reaches a breaking point where a “PuruPuru Finish” can be triggered. If this PuruPuru Finish occurs, the character will stripped completely naked in combat with only a few rays of light left to cover them up instead of chibi faces.

Little is known about Honoka at the moment but she is a pink haired schoolgirl with considerable fighting skills and a “voluptuous” body.
