Razer Orbweaver Chroma to Hit Stores Later This Month

Only a few months ago, the rubber domed Razer Tartarus gaming keypad received the Chroma treatment. This month, the mechanical Razer Orbweaver will be getting a similar upgrade. The Razer Orbweaver Chroma has the same Razer Green Mechanical switches found on the Razer Blackwidow Chroma, which provide an audible click and actuates with only 50 grams of force. The keypad has a total of 30 programmable keys along with an 8-way thumb pad. The 20 keys on the top have LEDs that can be controlled by the Razer Synapse software to display 16.8 million colours. The software can sync a multitude of Chroma devices, allowing them to display the same colour in unison.

The hand, thumb, and palm-rests are all adjustable, suiting a variety of hand sizes. The Razer Orbweaver Chroma will have an MSRP of $129.99 USD and is set to hit stores sometime this month.

Anaheim, CA – August 11, 2015 – Disney Interactive today announced the schedule of events and tune-in details for this year’s Disney Infinity Toy Box Summit (https://infinity.disney.com/toy-box-summit), a community event, which will be held at the Disneyland® Resort in Anaheim, CA ahead of this year’s D23 Expo 2015. Beginning today through August 13, 2015, top Toy Box Artists from around the world will gather for an in-depth hands-on look at the newly enhanced Disney Infinity 3.0 Toy Box mode, meet the developers from Avalanche Software— the team behind the successful “toys-to-life” franchise— and compete in a Toy Box building competition.

The community will be invited back for the Toy Box 3.0 Competition Showcase where Toy Box building teams will show off their creations by playing in their Toy Boxes.

A panel of judges will announce a winner based on a set of criteria: theme, design, gameplay and creativity. In addition, the community will be invited to vote either via a social media hashtag campaign or Disney Insider poll. The Community’s pick will be announced one week later.

Disney Infinity: 3.0 will be released in Australia and New Zealand on September 3, 2015, has been rated PG for online interactivity and mild violence.

Razer announced that their budget-friendly keyboard, Razer Deathstalker, will be getting the Chroma treatment. Dubbed the Razer Deathstalker Chroma, the keyboard features the same low profile, chiclet-style keycaps that only need 2mm of travel to actuate. The wrist rest has been designed specifically for the Razer Deathstalker Chroma’s low profile. The keyboard layout is the traditional full sized design with anti-ghosting for up to ten simultaneous key presses. Macros can be assigned to almost any key and can be recorded on the fly.

As part of the Chroma line, the Razer Deathstalker Chroma can display up for 16.8 million different colours in the three lighting zones and syncs with other Chroma devices. The keyboard is available now for $99.99 USD.

Stardock Announces 3D Printing, Map Sharing and Mega Events DLC in Latest Galactic Civilizations III Update

Players can 3D print their ship designs and share maps, while the new DLC adds additional gameplay depth

Plymouth, MI – August 11, 2015 – Today Stardock announced the availability of the Galactic Civilizations III 1.2 update which adds the ability for users to get their in-game assets 3D printed, along with the ability for users to share maps, as well as new DLC for galaxy-wide Mega Events.

Players have always been able to design their own ships, and now they can bring those creations to life using 3D printing. With the single click of a button players will be taken to a site where their submission will be evaluated, and if the file conforms to standards players can complete the purchase of their 3D printed model. More details for the process are outlined in-game.

This update also allows players to share the maps they’ve created using Galactic Civilizations III’s map generator. This user-generated content can add more replayability as well as allow users to share their creations and game experiences with their friends.
New DLC provides additional gameplay excitement with the addition of Mega Events.
“Mega Events,” says Galactic Civilizations III designer Paul Boyer, “are galactic events that shake up the game. You might be heading toward diplomatic victory when suddenly a leader is assassinated. Maybe you’re trying for a conquest victory when the Dread Lords return. Each event is an unexpected incident that will require your skill and strategy to overcome if you hope to be victorious. ”

The Mega Events DLC is free for all Galactic Civilizations III Elite Founders and $4.99 for other players.

The H1Z1 Invitational is an opportunity for players and Twitch personalities to come together and fight to the death in the extremely popular survival mod, PLAYERUNKNOWN’s Battle Royale, for a chance to win real-life money.

NEW YORK and HELSINKI, FINLAND August 11, 2015 – Next Games, the Finnish mobile games studio, and AMC today revealed the first gameplay trailer and key details of the official mobile game based on AMC’s record-breaking hit TV show “The Walking Dead.” The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, an action-packed strategy game, will allow players to experience the world of the iconic TV series with its spine-chilling moments through gameplay tailored for touch screen devices.

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land is centered around surviving in a hostile, post-apocalyptic world, fighting the walker menace and making tough choices about the fate of the player’s survivor group. During the course of the game, players will need to choose the right people with the right skills and weapons to take down walkers, survive missions and save other survivors. A recurring theme of choosing the best survival strategy and making the right tactical choices is at the heart of the game.

Daryl Dixon, the crossbow-toting, fan-favorite character, portrayed by actor Norman Reedus in the TV series, helps the player get established in the game and guides players in the final points of survival and combat with the undead. Danger is everywhere, as fans face hordes of walkers in locations familiar from the TV show. The new trailer gives fans a taste of the action.
